That's why they should trade him to a team that could afford to re-sign him after 2004 like the Mets or Dodgers.

Yup Brock is winning tonight...and I guess Kurt gets the "honor" of wrestling Vince at No Mercy.
-
And what does college football do...just throw freshman out there on the field without knowing if they can play yet? There are player cuts in college too.
-
I think they will show classic games, somewhat. Key phrase "NFL Films" as in footage shot by NFL Films. I'm talking about the original broadcasts of the game.
-
Report is Pennington is out at least three months which would mean a late November return at best. Ouch.
-
My thoughts exactly. Did they hand out tampons at the show?
-
You know they don't have a preseason in college football and it doesn't seem to really matter that they don't. The best solution out there that would please the NFL money machine is to expand the regular season to 18 games if they were to eliminate preseason. This would of course mess with single season records (and eventually career records) although it was once a 14 game season until the late 70's.

No classic, original broadcast NFL games? BOOOOOOOOOOOO! Why the hell is the NFL holding on to those old games? They don't let ESPN Classic show them so why not show them on your own channel?
-
Why is this crap on ESPN? The X-Games, even though some of what they do is cool, is not a real sporting event no matter what anyone says. As for the Little League World Series, get these brats off my t.v. It used to be they'd only show like two games of the whole thing which was fine but now they show qualifying games that no one outside of the parents of the kids could give two shits about. The worst thing of all is it preempts there two best shows Pardon the Interruption and Baseball Tonight.
-
Yes I think most people that criticize Madden just see that the graphics haven't improved (which I would have to say this year has been the least improved graphically since its been on PS2) and then just dump on the game. For me graphics are the least important thing about sports games. Also I always wonder all these NFL 2k fans always saying Madden hasn't improved I always wonder what exactly has been added and improved to the NFL 2k games?
-
You know usually the opening weekend there is only two or three games but usually at least one of them looks good on paper. This year ain't the case...the best the NCAA can come up with is Kansas St. kicking the shit out of Cal and a match-up of a I-AA team in Grambling State and a team that might as well be I-AA in San Jose St. You would have thought the NCAA would have pushed to have the USC/Auburn game pushed up a week so we could get a marquee match-up to kick off the season. Oh well I'll probably still tune in for a little bit to K-St./Cal.
-
Yankees giving up on their season as they trade away Sterling Hitchcock to the Cardinals.
-
Now THAT is funny. Of course now with Mulder out for the year and Zito stuck in mediocrity and the lack offense the A's suddenly are a long shot to make it to the postseason. If the A's don't make it I'll root for Red Sox and Cubs...and then Apocalypse will happen with then both make it.
-
Exactly the same scenario as mine. Yankees and Giants? Oh jesus that's when I might stop watching baseball for good. Fuck em' both. More reason for it to happen. No more "Fuck Bonds" threads. Actually my reasons for the Giants is their ownership not Bonds but its too involved to get into.
-
There is apparantly a glitch on the PS2 version (don't know about others) that does allow you to put the real life logos on new uniforms you create when you move your team in owner mode. I haven't tried it yet but here is a link to the gamefaqs board as to how it works: http://cgi.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage....=9633779&page=0

And doesn't have to use up his frequent flyer miles for his gambling binges.

Actually North Texas is pretty good and is a lock to win the pathetic Sun Belt conference. They'll still get blown out but there are worse cases of schedule padding.
-
If they show classic NFL games in their original broadcast (not the NFL films versions) then it immediately becomes the best channel ever.
-
Me. Jason Me too...been there, done that, Yankees win. Yawn.

Yes I was wondering that this morning. They had the '87 Broncos video yearbook on. I thought to myself...I'm old enough to remember the '87 Broncos but I'm not a father yet.
