Potential spoiler? What is this the gamefaqs boards?
-
Well last week it was in Anaheim so there was an excuse for them being posted late but its in Orlando this week so I don't know what's up.
-
Trivia247 I wasn't trying to say there was nothing to the story but by posting stories from a site like wrestlezone, who directly steal stories from other sites and then don't credit them, you give credibility to those who have none. Just stick to 1wrestling (although be careful with that too), the Torch, and da Meltz.
-
The show is in Orlando so spoliers should available soon.

Journalist? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously Ryan Clark and Matt Boone (who might be the same person) have the least amount of credibility of any internet wrestling "jounalist". They are famous for taking stories from more legit sites and rewriting them in their own words. In this case they took the rumor from 1wrestling, who don't exactly have that much credibility themselves but at least they typically come up with their own stories.

I'll take a guess that I'll be right on this that Stone Cold will bring out Mae Young for Bischoff to "eat" and he'll refuse and be disqualified. HILARIOUS~

Here are my N.L. picks for this week. Players currently leading in the fan voting are in CAPS and players not listed last week have an * next to their name. Here's hoping Sammy Sosa turns down his starting spot because there are waaaaaaay too many outfielders that are getting snubbed (Andruw Jones, Chipper Jones, Preston Wilson, Corey Patterson) because of the one player per team rule. I went with nine this week, which is just about the absolute max I could see them selecting as I couldn't leave off Jim Edmonds this week. That's a messy situation right now as you have to figure Dusty Baker might pick Patterson which could bump someone like Edmonds off. Possibly could select Aaron Boone over Austin Kearns as the Reds representitive but Kearns is having the better year. Also could pick Ryan Klesko as the Padres rep and go with four 1st basemen but I'm sticking with Rondell White for now. C: IVAN RODRIGUEZ, Florida; Benito Santiago, San Francisco 1B: JEFF BAGWELL, Houston; Todd Helton, Colorado; Richie Sexson, Milwaukee 2B: JEFF KENT, Houston; Jose Vidro, Montreal 3B: SCOTT ROLEN, St. Louis; Mike Lowell, Florida SS: EDGAR RENTERIA, St. Louis; Alex Gonzalez, Florida OF: BARRY BONDS, San Francisco; SAMMY SOSA, Chicago; GARY SHEFFIELD, Atlanta; Albert Pujols, St. Louis; Jim Edmonds*, St. Louis; Luis Gonzalez, Arizona; Austin Kearns, Cincinnati; Kenny Lofton, Pittsburgh; Rondell White, San Diego Pitchers: Woody Williams, St. Louis; Kevin Brown, Los Angeles; Mark Prior, Chicago; Jason Schmidt, San Francisco; Kevin Millwood, Philadelphia; Kazuhisa Ishii*, Los Angeles; Matt Morris, St. Louis; John Smoltz, Atlanta; Eric Gagne, Los Angeles; Billy Wagner, Houston; Tim Worrell, San Francisco; Armando Benitez, New York

Jamie Lee Curtis is no bimbo. Your right...she's a hermaphrodite. If Nash starts wearing a mask and starts chopping people to pieces then I'll become a fan.
-
Let preface by saying that I agree they suck and that typically now during Raw and Smackdown I just have it on in the background while doing other things and also I'm not trying to flame bait here....but if they its so bad right now that your not watching then why are the majority of your posts in this folder? If your not even watching why bother talking about it?
-
The reason why is Lopez hasn't even had enough plate appearances yet this year for a qualifying average and I only look qualifying players. I'll be making this week's N.L. picks later after the latest voting is released but Lopez won't be considered...for now.
-
I did give him a look this week but his ERA is a little too high for my liking at this point but Melvin Mora is having an amazing year so far and right now would have to make the team so there is an outside chance the Orioles could have two selections.
-
You know I'm not big on middle relievers on the All-Star team either but the last couple of years they have been picked and two years ago two made the A.L. squad. Donnelly's numbers are really amazing though (1 ER and 17 hits allowed in 32 innings, 38 strikeouts). I also try to be a bit realistic with my picks as well since Mike Scoscia will be the manager for the A.L. so that definently increases the chances Donnelly will be selected. Halladay has an ERA over 4 so he doesn't get consideration although a lot of the top A.L. pitchers have been getting lit up of late so things could change. Maybe by next week I'll put Young on team as realizing he does play 3rd and 1st as well. I have been sticking with 20 players and 12 pitchers.

The pic is from May 8, 2000...CRZ recap of Nitro: LIZ v. DAFFNEY UNGER - Amazingly, even with a flat surface in front of her, Elizabeth STILL manages to trip up on her way down the aisle. She's in a black T-shirt and b&w camo pants. Daffney's shirt, on the other hand, says "LIZ WILL DIE." That's cute. Hey, you know it's GREAT and all that they like saying "her FIRST wrestling match EVER!" Only...well, there was that match with Rhonda Sing. Oh, and that match with Meng. But I guess, since that was almost six months ago, we shouldn't be expected to remember them. Oh, but didn't Russo help book THOSE matches, too? No, see, back THEN the story was that LUGER owned Liz, and not RUSSO...ohhhhh my head hurts. Daffney does several laps in the ring - Liz breaks up her hands on her shoulders, then PASTES her with a slap. Got her by the hair - hairpull takeover - another - choking her in the corner - hey, we've gone thirty seconds, how about a run-in? It's MADUSA, and she's got Elizabeth by the hair. Referee "Blind" Jamie Techer rings the bell? (relaxed DQ :38)
-
Nope but if you look at the ring its obviously a pic taken from an old Nitro. I seem to remember them having a match one time.
-
This week on Confidential: Did Daffney Unger kill Miss Elizabeth?
-
Considering how bad house show business is right now, cutting back on them would probably happen.

Nah, HHH/Goldberg is pretty much set in stone for SummerSlam. Id save that for a title match though. Plus I think its a bit too soon to end Goldberg's WWE "undefeated" streak... Um well that'd be assuming Nash wins Sunday and after Nash hitting the lazy bomb two weeks in a row on HHH I'd say its a lock HHH is winning. Plus he's get a face special guest referee...HHH always wins then! It wil be interesting to see if HHH gets out of jobbing to Goldberg.
-
Nah, HHH/Goldberg is pretty much set in stone for SummerSlam.
-
Yes I could have gone with Young but it basically came down to who I picked in Cleveland and I decided to go with Bradley over C.C. Sabathia this week and that left no spots in the outfield so I stuck with Cornejo for now.
-
Raw doesn't come on for another 20 minutes on the west coast but already reading a report on the show, with Nash hitting the lazybomb for a second straight week on HHH, HHH is obviously going to win this weekend. Now I'm obviously not going to complain about Nash not getting the title (although the title is meaningless) but HHH is going to win with the odds against him with a face special referee AGAIN! This is pretty much unheard of until this past year where I believe it will be the 3rd time he's done it. The man truly is a genius. Let's see next if gets out of jobbing to Goldberg at SummerSlam.

If Triple H truly gets his way he'll drop the title this Sunday and then beat Goldberg at SummerSlam and then win the title back from Nash at Unforgiven. The next four months will be a fascinating (or nauseating) look at politics in the WWE up to the real life wedding of HHH and Stephanie. Am I the only one who thinks they might use an entire Raw to show the wedding?
