Who would you rather lose at WM?

I'd rather see Booker lose (and he is losing its a virtual lock now) if I was 100% sure there would be a rematch at Backlash with Booker going over. On the other hand seriously even if Jericho wins does anyone really think beating Shawn Michaels is gonna give him any real rub or lead to him winning the HHH Title and holding for a long period of time? HBK is such a non-factor IMO right now and really this is nothing more than a midcard feud. So personally I guess I'd go with Jericho if Booker doesn't get a rematch at Backlash.

They could have "stock footage" of Goldust accidently running over the Evolution in the parking lot when he was having one of those "episodes" from the electricution. I think its a bit too late to run an injury angle at this point. Besides for the WWE their just more comfortable with the pretend like it never happened angles.
  3. Bleh the Raw tag division bores me to tears and I don't think they'll have the titles defended at WM XIX with Regal out. Probably just be yet another Dudleys table match for the #1 contendership like anyone cares.
  4. Yes even though I know the majority people think Booker already has no chance this Sunday but if he gets the clean pinfall tonight they he REALLY has no chance. Hell I'm almost rooting for HHH to pin Booker tonight as that would be a sign he'll put him over on Sunday...or bury him.
  5. Now if I only watched Heat. Okay thanks for the info. Hmmm wonder where that leaves Austin and Rock tonight in terms of matches. Probably just a main event interview.

I forget did they actually say he was injured when he interferred? Yes I know him having crutches would imply that. Having him there seemed pointless since he can't wrestle right now. What are they gonna do have him sit at ringside for the next 6-8 months? I guess that could be his new gimmick.
  7. Guessing it will be Booker T vs. Flair tonight or the regular pre-PPV main event tag match with Booker/Austin vs. Rock/HHH.

They probably haven't been doing them because they haven't even acknowledged his injury on t.v. or Batista's for that matter as the Evolution storyline has been completely erased for WWE continuity. Besides even though the updates were funny I think constantly having to push a guy based on him being injured isn't exactly going to get him over.

The One and Only March Madness thread

GOD DAMNIT, so close on two major upsets especially Maryland. Happens to me every year every major upset I pick the team loses in the final minute. Ugh 23-9 through the 1st Round with so many close calls like Oregon (not an upset pick but damnit!), N.C. State, and Southern Illinois. Butler was the only true upset pick that paid off for me (wouldn't call Gonzaga or Auburn big upsets). At least still have everyone from the Elite 8 left.

Goldberg On Next WWE Mag Cover

That'd be assuming they had credibility to begin with. Too much of their news stories just seem like opinions taken off message boards. As for the Goldberg thing whether its fake or not it doesn't really matter as he will be coming in no matter what and might as well be for the first 2 months after Wrestlemania which is typically a very stale time for the WWE.
  11. Having not bothered to register for this board till this past week let me say I have for quite a while now have LOVED the Workrate reports here and on the DVDR board (another board that maybe one day I finally get around to actually posting on). I'd have Dean's baby if he asked me to and if I weren't a man. Is that wrong?

    Wrestlemania 19's Shirt

You know I've never really thought that Vince would be insane enough to have his match with Hogan be the main event and that it would be Angle/Lesnar (before Angle's injury) or Austin/Rock even though that's been done twice but maybe I was wrong. But Vince is a still genius right? Right?
  13. Yes I know but as I said in another stat topic I'm just using "dusty finish" as a universal term for a finish that is not clean rather than always saying "Wrestler A is 6-5 in matches that ended with interference, a foregin object be used, etc." Just a little quicker and easier that way. Maybe from now on to end any confusion I'll just say "matches that did not have a clean finish."

The One and Only March Madness thread

I think I went with Texas to win it all and just because everyone seems to pick them as a "sleeper" I had Maryland getting upset in the first round just for the hell of being different. Also had Duke getting dropped in the first round just because you gotta figure they'll choke in the first round one of these years. Oh and no one gives a rat's ass about the women's tournament but good lord could ESPN have picked a more annoying song for their promos for the women's tournament? They air that damn commercial every break. I I I I I I I I I I can't stand it.

  20. No one can beat Test cleanly. Well referencing my stat topic from yesterday Test jobbed clean 6 times last year. He lost clean to Faarooq, Rikishi, John Cena, Booker T, Undertaker, and Al Snow. Thing is though the job to Snow was his last clean one and that came back all the way back on October 7th. Brock's early push wasn't very good as you see all those matches where Heyman had interfered to help Brock win and people wonder why he wasn't over those first few months.

  25. Okay this is gonna make people laugh but by going strictly PPV's the last 100% clean as whistle job at a PPV by HHH, that wasn't to Shawn Michaels or Undertaker, was SEVEN YEARS AGO. At Wrestlemania XII he jobbed clean and was squashed in under two minutes by The Ultimate Warrior. Wow. Now granted he hasn't been in every PPV in that time and during the Russo Era how often did ANY matches end clean but wow just wow.
