The formula is as follows: 45% of the ranking is your win/loss record, 45% of the ranking is your correct pick %, and 10% is your correct pick % against (aka strength of schedule). Obviously everything is bunched right now as with win/loss record your either ranked 1st or 21st in that category at the moment. Now since things are bunched up that means some people come out with same ranking so I do give the higher ranking to the person who had the higher preseason ranking. About an hour ago the left click on my mouse stopped working. Every sporting event on ABC will now have the ESPN logo on it which as unveiled yesterday on the first Saturday of college football. This is really fucking stupid. Why would a network want to present themself as a basic cable station? ESPN may be universally recognized as the leader in sports but it's still cable. As bad as Fox's presentation is you at least know when your watching a Fox Sports presenation. You know when you're watching NBC Sports and you know when you're watching CBS Sports. Call me old fashion but a network sporting event has a bigger feel to it then anything on ESPN. I can understand from a way to limit expenses to just have ESPN produce the events but completely abandoning the ABC brand name is ridiculous. You know when I first saw the "ESPN on ABC" crap for the regional timeslot today my only thought as to why they decided to do this was to make the new Saturday primetime timeslot to have an extra special feel to it and have it stand alone from the regional games.
