Anyone Know Where I Can Download Tonight's Raw?
Adam replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder

Wow, someone quoted me. Anyway, I didn't cry when I found out, but I was incredibly down for the day, and I will most likely find Raw hard to watch. I explain peoples reactions this way. People like myself and everyone here, wrestling fans, there are some that we idolise, that we dream about seeing, meeting, and even wrestling. When someone like that dies, so dies a part of our dreams. People have every right to feel how they want about Eddie's death, and some people chose to cry. Certainly Downhome was one of those, and people feel the need to take him to the cleaners for it. He's a big boy, he can take it. But you won't stop him for feeling the way he felt, just like you won't stop anybody else. Eddie was a part of my hopes and dreams, I wanted to wrestle, and Eddie was one of the guys I dreamt about standing across the ring from. That dream will no stay a dream, and that saddens me. Yep, a tad emo, I'm sure. But fuck it, that's how I feel about the whole situation.

Australian Terror Suspects Arrested
Adam replied to Prime Time Andrew Doyle's topic in Current Events
I'd actually rather Howard over Costello. But seriously, best PM we've had? Bob Hawke by miles. Mad held a world record for quickest stubby skolling time, THERE'S a fucking leader. -
Not to be nitpick or anything, but I was under the impression that Chavo was actually waiting for Eddie to go have breakfast, and he didn't answer his wake up call.

My Testimonial on WWE.com: Eddie Guerrero occupies a place in my heart, and the hearts of all wrestling fans. We daydream about seeing, meeting, working with men like Eddie Guerrero. That dream is gone, but it is replaced by another. I now dream that I can be the kind of man Eddie was. Thank you Eddie, for making me laugh, for making me smile, for making me jump out of my seat and cheer. But most of all, thank you for being the man that you were.

Superstar said some of Eddie's closest friends will be flying back to Phoenix to deliver his body back home. That's some friendship right there.
-
Its bittersweet though, we get two great matches in a row, but the surrounding circumstances are just terrible. I'm going to enjoy watching the show, and celebrating Eddie's career, and life.
-
And Superstar will be conducting Eddie's funeral service.
-
Kurt vs. Shelton - wow, honor a great wrestler with great wrestling.
-
listening to Wrestling Observer Live now, Meltzer sounds totally gutted.
-
Yep, but its still a great vid.

Where the fuck do you get off telling everyone how to feel you unemotional piece of shit? People can feel about this however they want. If they want to cry, cry. If they want to mourn, fucking mourn. Get off our high horse and get the fuck out if you don't like it.

I agree with Sass, anytime Eddie cheated to win. His whole run from Los Guerreros to now was classic. Of course there are his amazing matches from the mid-90's with Rey and the like, but I think I'll best remember him for making me laugh these past couple of years.

Whatever we all say about him, this is certainly something to praise Vince for.

Knicks-Lakers and Magic-Cavs? Reeeeeeally not looking forward to the games I get to see this week...
-
I don't think now is the time to discuss that sort of thing. Its been less than 12 hours after his death. There will be plenty of time to talk about this in the next week, and I'm sure people will be more willing to talk about it then. I think you posting what you did shows an amazing lack of respect and class, and for that I say fuck you. Anyway, that's my opinion.

That was my first feeling, that a guy I idolised in some ways was gone. I enjoyed watching him perform, but I wanted to be like him, he was an idol. I would assume that many feel the same way. That's why this death effects us the way that it does. I think the fact that his life story was brought out, and that he interacted so well with the fans makes this harder for the fans, as we feel closer to Eddie than we do a lot of other wrestlers.

The Press Conference won't play for me either. I think its too soon, but I hope someone makes a downloadable version.

I really think Benoit will retire after this, after doing all that he can do in the wrestling business, I think this tragedy will ultimately lead to him retiring.
-
Absolutely, it was an insult before, but that insult has increased tenfold now.
-
I'm looking forward to the show, and with today's events, I'm hoping that TNA at least put up a graphic, or make some sort of mention of Eddie.
-
Wow, I really don't know if I'll be able to watch that. I already doubt I could sit through an Eddie match today.
