  1. Yeah, it was the DX PPV where Shamrock was calling spots wayyyy loud.
  2. Triple H started using a remix of My Time when it was revealed that he was the guy who hired Rikishi to take out Austin. He used the remix theme at Armageddon 2000. But he had the Motorhead music at Royal Rumble 2001, so it was some point between then.
  3. No, Jeff Hardy did his own new music.
  4. Might as well throw out a match listing: WWF Intercontinental Championship Skinner vs. Bret Hart Jake Roberts vs. Randy Savage British Bulldog vs. Warlord Ted Dibiase & Repo Man vs. Virgil & El Matador WWF Championship Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker
  5. Same. I sat on the couch and watched the whole Roberts/Savage angle from last night in sheer amazement. It's seriously one of the best angles I've ever seen that absolutely holds up 17-18 years later (godDAMN we're getting old). Monsoon and Heenan put it over great too, with Monsoon sounding geniunely disgusted and Heenan so shocked he can't even make jokes. That feud should have stretched out all the way to a huge brawl at WM8. It's a shame they let it fizzle into a nothing match at one of the lame duck SNME's on FOX, which served no purpose other than to immediately segue Roberts into a feud with a turned-face Undertaker. Also, this is the first time I've really been able to sit down and watch Hogan/Taker from this show. Taker looked absolutely horrible in this match. There were three spots he totally blew. The first one is when Hogan went for an inverted atomic drop. Hogan held him up waiting for him to club him in the back, but he waited so long that Hogan had to finish the move. Finally UT brings the hammer down, but Hogan has to no-sell it. The second one is when UT is on the apron and Hogan has him by the neck, about to club him. He waits for UT to drop him down and never does, so he has to club him. As soon as Hogan brings the arm down, UT finally drops down, and both no-sell the shots. The third one is near the end of the match when UT ducks a clothesline and goes to bounce off to do his flying clothesline. UT totally wipes the fuck out in the ring ropes and falls on his ass. Can't imagine Vince felt too bad about tacking him with a 6-day reign after his performance in this match.
  6. HBK had to go to loose pants to hide all those knee braces.
  7. I didn't say I liked the shiny vest. I thought that looked stupid too.
  8. I gave it a chance, but I'm really not digging Jericho's constant suited appearance or his new, skimpy wrestling gear. The haircut was enough of a change. The rest doesn't really matter that much to his character.

  10. Piper was only 39 or 40 when he had his surgery. Ron will be 51 next May.
  11. I did an indy show with Ron back in November. He said he was having hip replacement surgery in January, so he's likely done.
  12. The shows have been ending around 11:05 in the U.S. for the last few months, although there was one show about a month or two ago that actually ended right at 11pm.
  13. If you didn't laugh at Santino's stuff tonight, you have no sense of humor. That is all.
  14. That HBK/JBL storyline would be believable if HBK wasn't employed by a billion dollar company.
  15. Wait a minute, you didn't enjoy the Pat Patterson vs. Gerald Brisco Evening Gown match for the Hardcore Title?
  16. From PWI: World Wrestling Entertainment has petitioned and been granted an extension in responding to the lawsuit brought against them, John Cena and several other entities regarding the sampling in Cena's theme song. They now have to respond by 12/15.
  17. I remember Judgment Day '01 (Austin vs. UT, Kane vs. HHH) being pretty brutal.
  18. That's a fucking long sig.
  19. I'll always remember Mickie botching the WM22 finish against Trish.
  20. Mickie James is still suffering from a hyperextended elbow and its causing her some discomfort and numbness. WWE is using her sparingly due to to the injury but rely on her to help layout the matches, keep the matches going and the fans interested in the main shows. Expect her to be given time off from house shows as a result. James' injury occurred during the European tour. James feels she is okay to work but WWE is being careful as she is very important to the division. Everyone feels another week or two is best before moving her back into full action. --Torch
  21. I like how Flair didn't seem to understand that just because Tazz thinks the MSG thing was important doesn't mean he liked it.
  22. November 25, 1989 - Madison Square Garden -- Haku vs. Paul Roma -- The Hart Foundation vs. The Rockers -- Al Perez vs. Brooklyn Brawler -- Ted Dibiase vs. Jake Roberts -- Tito Santana vs. Bad News Brown -- Hercules vs. Dino Bravo -- Randy Savage vs. Jim Duggan
  23. And what's funny is that when he showed up in the WWF in 1999 with Chris Jericho, he looked about 15 years younger.
  24. Boy, she's damn lucky the heel didn't get Punk's eye. I'm sure someone had some words with her as soon as she got backstage.
  25. The only reason HBK came out of that as the face was because Diesel came out immediately to run off Sid from the ring and attend to him. Take Diesel out of that and Sid is the face.
