    The 3rd one is awesome.

    Excellent Randy Orton Interview

Doesn't shock me that he says negative stuff about Triple H. I don't like Randy Orton in the slightest and think he's a total shithead, but wow, did HHH ever fuck his career.

OAO ECW Week 4 on Sci-Fi, July 4th

It had it all You're right. This show had the one thing missing from the past 3 shows: the fans filling the ring with trash in defiance of how shitty this is turning out.

As several readers noted in their live reports over the weekend, Atlas Security was not used at the ECW live events. WWE decided last week to no longer use the company. There was a dispute between Atlas and WWE management over how the firm should handle their duties. WWE had been getting upset that the firm was getting in the way of their camera shots, of all things. When Atlas voiced their concerns over the issue, WWE decided to discontinue their services. Given the angry fan reaction to the end of ECW on Sci Fi last night, WWE might be well advised to change that stance pronto as it looked like it was quite the powderkeg last night. _ _ _ I believe last night was the final scheduled events, at least for now, for original ECW referees John Finnegan and Jim Molineaux. WWE will use their own in-house referees from this point on although The ECW troupe have open invitations and may be used when the company is in the Northeast again, which wouldn't be for a few months. -- PWI

OAO ECW Week 4 on Sci-Fi, July 4th

This is absolutely pathetic. I was going to keep an open mind for the 12-week trial run, but this show has gotten so pathetic so fast, I think I'm done. This is not an acceptable version of ECW. It's fucking WWE with new letters pasted over it. Not only is it a pathetic version of ECW, it's fucking boring as shit. I watched the show with a group of friends and we were all about to fall asleep during it. This is the kind of thing that makes me want to stop watching wrestling forever. It's one thing for Vince to take his company and bore me with it. That's fine. It's his company and he can do whatever he wants with it. But to dig ECW's corpse out of the grave and totally piss on my memories of my favorite wrestling promotion goes beyond boring me. It's now become insulting and makes me hate wrestling. I'll now be treating ECW on SciFi for the last 8 weeks via recaps the way I treat Raw, Smackdown, and PPV; I'll read about it and if there's anything I want to see, I'll download it. All I can say is they better be glad they didn't run this show in the ECW Arena. What's so sad about all this is that this new ECW is being marketed to 10-year-old John Cena fans who become marks for Sabu and call themselves ECW fans. I want to throw up.

OAO ECW Week 4 on Sci-Fi, July 4th

This show is terrible. What was the point of making this "extreme rules"? They've done nothing to warrant that.

    OAO Raw Thread - July/3rd/2006.

The original plan for last night's Triple Threat "Pick Your Partner" tag team match was John Cena & Carlito vs. Edge & Johnny Nitro vs. Rob Van Dam & Sabu. Once the decision was made to have RVD drop the WWE Championship to Edge, Nitro and Carlito were put into a singles match for the Intercontinental Championship that was announced on Monday afternoon on WWE.Com.

Angle is taking time off to heal injuries. His match against RVD on last week's ECW was his last for a few weeks.

RVD and Sabu arrested for drugs

Sabu was said to be pretty ticked off about the way this "new" ECW was turning out. I doubt he gives a fuck.

RVD and Sabu arrested for drugs

WWE.Com posted Marty Jannetty's mug shot when he was arrested in June 2005 for that domestic issue. They've done this before. Since WWE are the employers of Van Dam and Sabu, they probably were faxed copies of the 5 tickets this morning.

RVD and Sabu arrested for drugs

I all of a sudden have the ability to see into the future in regards to tomorrow's ECW on Sci-Fi show: "Ladies and gentleman, the winner of this match and NEW WWE and ECW Champion, Edge!"

    Hulk vs. Orton SSlam

Who would be worse? Nick Hogan or David Flair?
  14. QuestionMan

Results of the second wwECW house show

I have noticed that on all the ECW line-ups that have been posted on WWE.Com, all of Sabu's matches are listed as "Extreme Rules" matches. So, it seems as if unless it has special notation, all ECW matches are going to fall under countout/disqualification jurisdiction. Strike another point against WWECW.

    State Your Unpopular Opinions

USA wanted no part of the bad publicity. Raw was still on Spike TV when all this was going on. He wasn't brought back because he wasn't popular backstage and got an attitude. Spike TV had nothing to do with that.

They could do a Hogan vs. Foley match with the same pretenses the current Flair vs. Foley feud has. Hogan was on Larry King a few years ago and totally ripped Foley to shreds, saying that the only reason he became a success was because he whored his body through all sorts of insanity. "Comparing Mick Foley to me is ridiculous. I'm in the gym all the time training and keeping my body in shape. The only training Foley does is scarfing down cheeseburgers at McDonalds."
  17. From PWInsider: We've got a new chapter in the "on-again/off-again" saga of whether WWE will present ECW on SciFi from the old ECW Arena in South Philadelphia. Ticketmaster.com is now listing "ECW Live" on July 4th from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. WWE is running at Wachovia Center the night before (July 3rd) with a "Supershow" Raw broadcast/Smackdown taping. The decision not to run television from the ECW Arena was made last week due to production concerns, mainly not being able to use pyrotechnics in the building. It will be interesting to see what size crowd ECW will be able to draw there on July 4th, the night after a Supershow in the same building.

OAO ECW Week 4 on Sci-Fi, July 4th

ECW aired Masato Tanaka beating Mike Awesome for the ECW Title on Christmas Eve 1999 and then aired Awesome winning the title back on New Year's Eve 1999.

    Vince's mental stability nowadays

When he took that time off after the '05 Rumble when he screwed both quads, I remember Meltzer saying that Vince was going absolutely insane being away from work.

WRESTLER RELEASE World Wrestling Entertainment has come to an agreement on the release of Johnny Parisi. WWE wishes Johnny the best in all future endeavors.
  22. Kelly's segments are really killing the show. It'd be one thing if she was actually dancing, but the way she moves is equivalent to lighty tapping a bowl of Jello.

The story with Imposter Kane and Kane.

No one seems to have a date of birth on him yet.
  24. QuestionMan

The story with Imposter Kane and Kane.

This is a picture of the guy who is playing Flashback Kane, Drew "Freakin Deacon" Hankinson: Anyways, ever since reading in the Observer how Glen Jacobs wanted to wind his career down and pass the torch to Hankinson, I've always assumed since the beginning of this that Kane Hankinson was going to end up being the REAL Kane that was talked about so much in Undertaker lore and that Kane Jacobs is going to turn out to be the real impostor. They can just say that Paul Bearer needed quick revenge on UT for turning on him, and didn't have time to find the real Kane so he found a bigger "Kane". And it makes sense too if they want to go this route, because they have video of Kane Jacobs previously in the WWF as Isaac Yankem and Fake Diesel.
