You're right. It was getting out of hand. I'm only stooping to the level of people like Rudo, Angle-plex, & Loaded Glove. Those people started the ridiculousness. I'm merely defending the people they are insulting in the way they insult.

Judgement Day, which took place like three weeks ago was better than this. Of course it was to you. Because you're an anti-ECW fan, like I identified earlier. Because I didn't like tonight's PPV, and thought Judgement Day was better, I'm an "anti-ECW" fan? I'm sorry, you're a dumbass. And you're an anti-ECW fan. Go make babies with Rudo. Well, that sure settled that! Alright, since I've explained in detail about why I enjoyed this PPV, explain to me in detail why Judgment Day was better than this show. And you better use valid points from Judgment Day and not just completely bash the ECW show. Do this without being stringent or insulting to people like you have been in this thread and you'll legitimize yourself.

We know it's a work. But ECW is the funnest work there is to be a part of.

I watched the show with my girlfriend, a smart fan, a casual fan, and a non-fan. The non-fan kept peering over at the TV to see what was going on and eventually turned the Gamecube off to come watch the show because what he saw was so unlike anything he may have glanced over when seeing WWE. And my girlfriend was getting into it big time. She said she used to watch wrestling a lot with her Dad when she was little, and said it was nothing like she ever saw. During the show, the non-fan and the girlfriend got into it just as much as me, the smart fan, and the casual fan were. I was amazed at how much this show completely captivated the non-fan and the girlfriend. I can't remember a wrestling show doing that in a long time. This is just like Paul Heyman said. It's not going to be the old ECW. Nostalgia acts don't last long. Look at Hogan's WWF/E run in 2002. This is a new ECW. New music. A whole new way of doing things. If this show is any indication of what the new ECW will be like, I'm all for it. Even without authentic music for guys like The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, & Balls Mahoney, and the very underwhelming finish to RVD vs. Cena, this show manage to beat the fuck out of everything WWE has put out since last year's One Night Stand. Mainly because it was done under a wrestling pretense and not a sports entertainment one. It wasn't as good as last year's show because last year's show was a straight-up nostalgia show. This was meant to launch the new brand so all the eggs aren't going into the one basket. The only reason the finish was so empty is because we all were expecting a screwy finish that won't stand up, mainly because WWE was involved, which shows you how much of a cancer the WWE way is to the way wrestling should be presented. Once WWE branches out of ECW's business, I doubt you'll see anything like that anymore. I'm sure Heyman didn't like it anymore than we did. It may not be exactly the old ECW we all remember, but this ECW will probably be a lot better than WWE just because it'll be something different.

You seemed pretty excited about ECW after the special, and obviously not so much now. Are you still going to check out the show on Tuesday nights in hopes of "anything" now? Rudo's whole gimmick around here is to take the opinion of the minority and be a total snobbish asshole about it. He must know someone who is a big part of this forum because it's a miracle he hasn't been banned. He does this everytime and I'm shocked people even still pay attention to his gimmick anymore. It's just like what the Hammerstein crowd thought of John Cena. Same old shit.

Who is saying he needed to come off like a pussy? They could have easily done the spot where Heyman comes down to make the count WITHOUT Edge ever interfering. The 3,000 people in the crowd chanting "Thank you, Edge!" makes me believe like the ECW faithful didn't give a fuck about the interference. If they didn't care, what the fuck are you bitching about? You sound like one of those people who watched the main feature of Rise & Fall of ECW and then decided "OMG ECW! IM HARDCORE!" Shut up, impostor.

Just for the record, the fans were completely swarming the Sandman just as much as they did last year. The only difference was that they didn't have a song to sing along to. Anyone else who says any different is just being ignorant through bitterness.

Some of you may be bitching about the show, and that's alright. But to deny the point is this show was a hell of a lot better than any of the crap WWE has put on in the last 5 years is completely ignorant. Yeah, it's not going to be the same ECW as before. But I'd rather take this version of ECW over the current WWE.

Have an open mind. Maybe it'll lead to Eugene coming to ECW and being normal after Sandman beat the retard out of him like D-Von did with Bubba Ray.

He got beat up the entire match and then only won after outside interference. That's about as jobberish as it can get without actually losing. Saying RVD got beat up the whole match is stretching it a little bit.

I was riding real high until The Sandman came out without Enter Sandman. That kind of deflated me a little bit but I still thought the show was fantastic, although the ending left me feeling a little empty too. I don't understand how broke ass Paul Heyman could use all that music, but billionaire Vince can't/won't.

It's when they make it look like the face wins for the big pop, but they leave a window open for the match to restart and the heel comes back and wins. Perfect example involving RVD is back on Raw on May 20, 2002 when RVD beat The Undertaker for the WWE Title but UT had his foot on the ropes, so Ric Flair came back out and re-started the match and UT ended up winning.

I was really hoping New Jack was going to beat the fuck out of Eugene. I would have been fine with The Sandman if they had actually used the Metallica song instead of that lame produced crap.
