The original plan was for at some point Orton & Batista to turn on Flair & HHH, turning Flair & HHH face by default, and formed a new Orton-led Evolution with Orton, Batista, Jindrak, Cade, & Maven. But did WWE lose confidence on Orton or did HHH just whine about turning face?

I seem to remember Hogan, Hall, & Nash getting heat right when the WWF's nWo era started when they showed up to a Raw in a limosuine and already in their nWo gear.

Aren't John Cena & The Undertaker exempt from the dress code due to their gimmicks?

If you can put the blame on 1 person for the decline of the WWE...

Wrong, Mr. Uh. AOL didn't care about wrestling itself either way. Hell, these guys used to feature weekly WWF superstar chats and periodical WCW superstar chats in the mid/late-90s. When AOL and Time Warner merged, AOL wanted all the parts of the company that were losing money to be deleted. WCW was one of these parts. It's just as simple as that. The company line may have been, "Wrestling doesn't fit here anymore," but I guarantee you if WCW was still making money and not losing it, Jamie Kellner wouldn't have axed WCW from TNT & TBS. They were only cut because they were losing money at a time where it was important that every hole in the ship was plugged up. -

I thought Bischoff & Fusient Media Ventures' offer to buy WCW was $49 million? -
He's going to Japan to do steroids, because he couldn't do them in WWE anymore. That is EXACTLY what I thought a few minutes after reading the news. Speaking of which, anyone seen pre-roids Lashley pictures? It's almost a Barry Bonds-esque transformation.

RVD/Lynn from the 8/28/99 ECW Arena show (that aired on TNN on 9/10/99) is their best match. For the record, I only remember these dates because 8/28 is my birthday. Anyone remember RVD/Lynn from Sunday Night Heat in fall 2001? bleh. -
In March, Orton had this generic heavy metal theme music by some unknown band that he used for about 2-3 weeks. But, it was so horrible they went back to HEY! very quickly.

Judging by how much the kids hate Randall here. Yes. I don't hate him, I just think he's horribly boring.
-
"Randall" makes me think of Clerks.
-
People ask me how I can sit through an entire baseball game. I think baseball is one of those things where you can only watch it intently and without boredom if you've played it.

I thought he threw a drink on Amy Weber. Amy Weber quit because when WWE went to Japan in February 2005, someone got a hold of a local strip club flyer which was using her picture on it. Someone tacked it up in the the dressing room and she was harassed so much over it, she quit.

Nothing beats Scott Hall taking a dump in between two pieces of bread and making a sandwich for Sunny.
-
In early 2005, he shit in a bag owned by Lauren Jones (one of the 2004 DivaSearch losers who was signed by WWE anyways) and she quit the company because of it.
-
He probably shit in Undertaker's bag, thinking it was Melina's or something.
-
PWI is saying unprofessional conduct.
-
Wow, Tomko quit.

Uh, didn't RVD face Scotty Anton at Heatwave 2000? Methinks someone fucked up at WWE.Com. -
From PWInsider: Mike Johnson is live at Wrestlemania, and will be checking in during the evening with live reports from Chicago: - The entranceway for the wrestlers is made to resemble the Chicago skyline, with a giant Titantron above it. - There are huge portraits of wrestlers hung throughout the arena. In addition to the current stars, there are portraits of Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, The Rock, and Hardcore Holly. Yes, Hardcore Holly. - There are already chants of "Cena Sucks" from the fans in the arena. - The Wrestlemania 22 program has a review of classic title matches that have taken place in Chicago.

I remember there was a scene backstage at WWE New Year's Revolution 2005 in Puerto Rico between Ric Flair and Quinones. Something about Quinones stiffing David Flair on a paycheck back when David worked for IWA Puerto Rico.

Oh boy. This should be good. The magic of 1997 is returning to me. -
What is the big deal with this? This was taped from one of those WCW spring breakout parties.
