  1. Bischoff would be a good manager for a reformed 3 Minute Warning.
  2. She totally shot on Triple H right there. Awesome.

    any new talent?

Well, those young, hungry, up-and-comers named Tatanka, Marty Jannetty, and Jim Duggan just got called up...

Should WWE do another Draft this year?

    Haha, touche. Heyman is god.

    JBL injured

Regal and Birchall broke up as a tag team weeks ago. Birchall is running around Smackdown now dressed up as a pirate.
  7. QuestionMan

Should WWE do another Draft this year?

I remember they did the first Draft Lottery in an effort to save Smackdown from the departure of Brock Lesnar. Let's see who they got: -- Mark Jindrak -- Rene Dupree -- Triple H -- Rob Van Dam -- Teddy Long -- Spike Dudley Mark Jindrak? Released in July 2005. Rene Dupree? Traded back to Raw in July 2005. Triple H? Traded back to Raw immediately. Rob Van Dam? Drafted by Raw in June 2005. Teddy Long? Became General Manager in August 2004. Spike Dudley? Released in July 2005. No wonder Smackdown stayed in such rotten shape. 2005 wasn't any different as 2 of the 5 guys they got (Christian and Muhammad Hassan) are gone and Batista can't seem to stop being injured.

Can the WWE win back the casual fan?

Rob Van Dam in 2001-2002 would have solved a lot problems.
  9. QuestionMan

And the Smackdown ME for Mania is...

Cena vs. HHH will be the last match of the show, and Cena will win.
  10. I know there's another Rey thread about if he could be a credible world champion, but this one is focusing exclusively on whether or not he will actually make it to the main event of WrestleMania 22. Dave Meltzer said this in his Sunday, pre-Rumble update: Of course, the winner of the Royal Rumble turned out to be Rey Mysterio, who entered at #2 and broke the record for longest time in the Rumble. Ever since this update, speculation has been rampant everywhere about whether or not Mysterio will actually find himself going for the World Heavyweight Title in the main event of WrestleMania 22 against either Kurt Angle or The Undertaker. Meltzer does have a history of being wrong about the WM main event, such as when he said the main event of WM20 would be a ladder match up until about 2 weeks before the show. One probable scenario is that Randy Orton will start to taunt Rey to the point where Rey gets so fed up that he will put his title shot on the line against Orton at No Way Out or Saturday Night's Main Event in Detroit on 3/18, where Orton will defeat Rey for the title shot and go on to face Angle at WrestleMania 22. Meltzer said last night on The LAW that the plan for the Smackdown title match is still Angle vs. Orton. So, will Rey Mysterio make it through all of this to main event WrestleMania 22? And should he even be there to begin with? EDIT: Right after I posted this, I read the Smackdown spoilers and something very significant happens about this subject.

Will/Should Rey Mysterio Make It To WrestleMania 22?

True. Thanks to all this, I'll be enjoying WM22 on Monday morning after I download it. The last WM I skipped was WM14.

I always was told to write my name on my sack lunch in case it got lost and so I wouldn't confuse it with other sack lunches. What were YOU being told?

THE OAO Raw thread for 2/20/06

I do? Actually, "thank god" came out of my mouth when I read that. Maybe she'll keep her uncoordinated ass out of the ring now. She should strictly be eyecandy like Stacy Keibler. She makes Candice Michelle look like Chris Benoit. I'm not glad she's hurt, I'm just glad she's not going to be making me run away from the TV in horror for a few weeks when she "wrestles".

THE OAO Raw thread for 2/20/06

What was even the point of the triple threat match if RVD was just going to job out to HHH for the 84th time? Why exactly do we need to protect Big Show?

THE OAO Raw thread for 2/20/06

Just cause I'm curious, how much did Austin make the company on merchandise sales alone? I don't have exact numbers, but Meltzer said that Austin made the company a lot more money than Hogan did and that the original "Austin 3:16" t-shirt was the only shirt that outsold the original "Hulk Rules" t-shirt.

ECW One Night Stand II-It's Official

Because it doesn't look like the ECW Arena anymore? Does it matter? Heyman said the same thing on Byte This last year when asked why One Night Stand wouldn't be held at New Alhambra. I highly doubt he's been there since ECW folded. In fact, Heyman seems to have something against Philly as he stopped doing ECW Arena shows almost entirely in the 6 months leading up to the promotion's closure. Uh, Heyman ran a show at the ECW Arena in late-December 2000. Don't know what you're talking about.

OAO No Way Out Thread, Feb/19th/2006

I think every wrestler should start doing the 3 Amigos. SNITSKY WITH THE 3 AMIGOS! BOOGEYMAN WITH THE 3 AMIGOS! BRIAN KENDRICK WITH THE 3 AMIGOS! FINLAY WITH THE 3 AMIGOS!

OAO No Way Out Thread, Feb/19th/2006

Those 10 months as Smackdown champion didn't do much to give him value because he never cleanly won any matches against non-cruiserweights. Losing in 5 minutes to the Boogeyman shit away whatever he built up. If the Boogeyman can beat him in 5 minutes, Lashley's going to look like a punk bitch if he can't do it in 30 seconds.
  20. Rey Mysterio was interviewed by Kevin Eck for the Baltimore Sun to promote this Sunday's No Way Out PPV in Baltimore, Maryland. When Eck asked his thoughts on Eddie being an integral part of the storyline between him and Randy Orton and Orton saying stuff like "Eddie's in Hell," this was Rey's response: It's hard to hear what has to be said from Randy. Eddie Guerrero had such an impact on the fans, on the company, on the [wrestlers]. He was loved by everybody. But I think the most important thing is that his wife has a lot of say in this. If she's comfortable with all of this being done ... she knew Eddie very well, and I think Eddie would want this to continue as long as it could. I think he's up in heaven, and he's enjoying every single moment. What do you think, guys and gals of TSM? Are these Rey's true feelings or is it just the company line?
  21. Speaking of which, I do remember reading from Meltzer that Dominik was getting increasingly more uncomfortable with the angle as it went on.
