I expected nothing less from Rudo, whose entire gimmick is going against what everyone thinks on the boards just for the sake of going against them. How have you escaped bannination this entire time? That is the question I ask God every night before I go to sleep.

I was just waiting for someone to start a thread over this. Thank you for fulfilling my prophecy, EvanderHolyfieldsMissingEar. Now with that being said, please get the stick out of your ass. He clearly wasn't using it to be racist. He was just trying to be funny and make fun of the slang use of the word "nigga". If anything, he just used it as a segway for Booker's old catchphrase. And why are people acting as if Vince McMahon is the first person ever to do this, as benevolently as he did? Another great case of wrestling mysteriously being held to a higher standard than other forms of entertainment. I even showed the segment to some of my black friends, and they thought it was hilarious to see this old, rich, white guy refer to a white-guy-who-acts-black as a "nigga". None of them wanted to slit Vince's throat when they saw it. I think a lot of this sentiment just has to do with people generally disliking Vince and looking for absolutely any reason to throw shit at him. Learn to laugh sometimes, my nigga.

I remember when Angle came back as a face in mid-03 and told the fans to keep chanting "You Suck" because it made him laugh and he considered it to be one of those weird bonds with a crowd.

Looks to me like title reign #11 for Trips.

It was an absolute shock to me. I saw the news in a post-sleep haze and immediately woke up.

I don't think it would be in the best taste to do a Buried Alive match right now.

I remember when the steroid shit was just hitting the fan with Vince in 1991. The media went to WCW's guy in charge, Jim Herd. When they asked Herd if WCW tested its wrestlers for steroids, his great response was, "We don't test for dumb stuff like that. We test for the hard stuff." -
Phil Mushnick is still out there? Wow.

Well, considering Vince almost went to jail for 20 years over steroids in his business... -
I remember that one night on RAW when he did his old rap schtick on Carlito, HBK, Angle, Big Show, & Edge. I was thinking, "Why did he EVER go away from this stuff? This is what made him."

From WWE.Com Former WWE Champion Bret "Hit Man" Hart has not appeared live on WWE programming since the controversial "Montreal Incident" in November 1997. That long drought will finally come to an end when "The Excellence of Execution" appears live in the Byte This! studio in two weeks (Nov. 16). With the release of his highly anticipated DVD on Nov. 15, there's no telling what the Hit Man will have to say. Don't miss this truly historic Byte This! (Note from S_D: Gee, I wonder why he's not on the November 9th Byte This? It couldn't be because November 9th was the day of Survivor Series 1997, could it? =)

Austin said he didn't go to Pillman's funeral because he probably wouldn't be able to handle it and probably would have had a breakdown.

Smackdown Title situation updated
QuestionMan replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Meltzer said Orton was going to win the title at the originally scheduled triple threat match anyways, so whatever. -
From PWInsider We don't have much in the way of details where the Eugene situation is concerned but I have been told by one source on the European tour that "when a guy is taken to the hospital then sent home and suspended, the reason is very most probably exactly what you would think it is." I won't say any more than that at this time, but I think the message there is pretty clear.

The Plane Ride from Hell ocurred on the way back the United States. They are still in Europe.

In the opening match of the currently ongoing WWE Smackdown house show in Rome, Italy, Nunzio defeated Juventud Guerrera to win his second WWE Cruiserweight championship. Nunzio slipped out of an attempted Juvidriver, pulling Guerrera into a backslide for the pin. -- PWInsider =========== Reports had been saying that Juvi's been a heat magnet backstage for stealing other people's moves and spots. I read a report in a WON recently that Eddie & Benoit recently went to Juvi together and chewed him out over it, and Juvi still didn't stop. According to Meltzer, Juvi thinks he's invincible because he's a favorite of John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis thinks he's funny.

They just aired that Survivor Series commercial here promoting Batista vs. Eddie on Tuesday night. Someone really needs to get that fixed.

"Look at my face. It looks like I've aged 15 years in the last 5." What a creepy statement. And whoever made the statement about Kurt's head, I agree. Watch his WWE.Com testimonial to Eddie Guerrero. It looks like his head has a diagonal median in it and the top-left-half is going to explode. It freaked me out.
