When I mention magazines, I mean the official WWF mags. I specifically remember an issue of Raw magazine where they had a picture of the Hart Foundation with a silhouette of Yokozuna behind them.

WWE General Discussion - February 2009
QuestionMan replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
This morning on Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show, he asked Kelly Kelly if the Bra & Panties match would be returning at WrestleMania. Her response was, "Nope, we don't do that anymore. We're PG now." Just to exemplify how PG WWE is now, she also mentioned that Beth Phoenix got a small amount of heat for her thong underwear being exposed for her entire match at the Royal Rumble with Melina. -
The magazines around that time were hinting that Bret possibly recruiting Yokozuna.

Yes, because you knew Owen Hart much better than they did. -

PWI is confirming that Randy Savage was backstage at the Royal Rumble very early in the day to discuss his 3-disc DVD documentary set, which will be releasing on June 9. It was supposedly the first time Savage and Vince have talked since Vince unsuccessfully tried to bring Savage back to the WWF in 1996 when his WCW contract expired. There was no news about a Hall of Fame spot or if it was even discussed. -
So Cena's renamed FU is now the "Attitude Adjuster". Okay.

Warrior didn't look that great in his match. Yeah, it was Orlando Jordan, but he still didn't look good. He was very stiff and aged. -
What the fuck was Art Donovan doing out there for the entire PPV anyways? It would have been just fine with Monsoon and Savage.
-
Yes, the deal with Bret vs. HBK was that every Hart Foundation member would be handcuffed to the ring and if HBK could beat Bret within 10 minutes, Bret would never wrestle in the United States again.

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas

There are some instances where Monsoon does go a little too far in chastising people. For example, the October '89 MSG show that's on 24/7 right now, Monsoon spends a full minute ripping apart Bret Hart after he didn't "drive with the legs" during a backslide on Dino Bravo and talking about how Bret usually isn't that sloppy. Did he seriously need to rant and bury Bret about a fucking backslide for a full minute? -

Still not as bad as Carlito and Chris Masters being in a WWE Title Chamber Match. -

RVD's hair has always been like that. Matt's been doing it since 2001, so he probably got the idea from RVD when he came in. I've always wanted to see what RVD's hair would look like when it's down and not in the ponytail. -

Bob Costas is a wrestling fan, but he totally turned a 180 on the WWF when they started going raunchy in 1997 and smeared Vince to anyone that would listen. -
When Bret vs. HBK got axed, they decided to change Pillman vs. Austin to HBK vs. Austin. They did Pillman vs. Austin the next night on Raw. I do believe KOTR '97 was the show where Austin gave Pillman a swirlie.

I was pretty deep into the dirtsheets at the time and never once heard any of these rumors that Rude was going back to the WWF. -

Kizarny couldn't even get a spot in this battle royal - crud. Kizarny buried himself in his first match. You'll never see him again.

The FU was renamed to the "Throwback" and the STFU had the "U" taken off of it since WWE is now going kid-friendly again.
-
Wow, that's how they follow up Matt's big heel turn? Seriously?

That last segment was absolutely horrible. This was the first time in months I dedicated Monday night to watch Raw because I was geniunely interested in the Orton saga. Sure enough, he got the 2003 Kane treatment. And those punches by Shane were absolutely embarassing and a lot more exposing of the business than "The Wrestler" ever will be. I hope he caught shit for that.
