Why doesn't JBL just jump in and beat the shit out of HBK, getting Cena DQed?

"Rowdy Piper" "Hoffa"

Why is Cena competing in a qualifying match for a match he's already in? This is why I hate WWE doing qualifying matches.

Why is Jerry Lawler's forehead so scarred? Has he been doing a lot of blading over the past year?

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

I like how Vince pulled a total 180 on The Wrestler after all the positive hype it got. -
My bedtime was 9:30 but my parents let me sleep with the TV on because I was weird and couldn't sleep in the quiet.

Was it Paul E.?

Link to Matt's myspace please.

Steve Armstrong's counts suck. Why the fuck does he take so long?
-
Referee is going to catch shit for that. He was supposed to go out and hold the ladder.
-
It is pretty weird watching this show, knowing that less than a month later he'd be in WCW.

Wasn't the Internet responsible for getting the Blue Meanie rehired after WWF fired him in 1999?

I just watched that 1994 Raw and as stated earlier, what the fuck was with all the bullshit references to things in the news that Vince was making? Savage was no-selling all of it until the end when he just gave up and joined in.
-
Hmmm, October 10, 1994...this was one of Savage's last WWF appearances.
-
It was 100% real. They were on a TNN talk show called "Crook & Chase". It was essentially a TNN version of Regis & Kathie Lee. I remember my Dad calling me into his bedroom and asked me who they were, since he watched TNN every night before going to sleep. They also had Sting on a few months before Undertaker & Paul Bearer appeared.

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas
QuestionMan replied to KingPK's topic in WWE Multimedia
I never could figure out why someone didn't yell at Monsoon in his headset about fucking up the Michaels angle. Heenan didn't even correct him, so he must have not been paying attention either. It doesn't matter though. Everything after Hogan/UT was nothing but a hard sell for Tuesday in Texas. So much that the announcers didn't even give a shit about the last two matches. And I never knew Hogan was legit hurt from that Tombstone. -
WWE General Discussion - January 2009
QuestionMan replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
From WO: -- As noted earlier, referee Mickey Henson was recently released by World Wrestling Entertainment. Henson had taken a leave absence due to a health related issue. It is now coming out that Henson is suffering from lymphoma, a form of cancer. Henson had largely kept his illness quiet, only telling a few friends (including Batista, who he is close to), along with John Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon. WWE reportedly promised Henson employment while he battled cancer since he didn't have health insurance. I guess WWE couldn't justify paying someone who couldn't work during this recession. He, along with Slaughter, will probably get rehired once everything lightens up. -
WWE General Discussion - January 2009

I remember around the time Billy Gunn was released in 2004, Holly came out and said something along the lines of about how Gunn was the only guy in the company he trusted or something. -
A Small History of My Declined Interest
QuestionMan replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
I have no problems with John Cena. I don't like his promos those times when he tries too hard to be like The Rock, but when it comes to putting asses in seats and making people give a damn, whether you cheer him or boo him, Cena does it like nobody has done since Steve Austin. He may not be Chris B. in the ring, but you can tell he's busting his ass to do what he can do. -
The old school rule is that the toe of the boot is illegal, but everywhere else is just fine.

Haha, Trongard and Marshall went fucking NUTS when Hennig locked in the ABDOMINAL STRETCH~!
