Can someone explain to me how the hell they're going to change the stage sets for the shows? -
WWE to tape Raw and SD back-to-back

Remember in the WCW 2000 glory days when they'd tape Thunder right after Nitro? Those were the days... -
Dropping the U.S. belt to Orlando Jordan at No Way Out with JBL's run-in interference accomplishes three goals: 1) You get the belt off Cena via screw-job without him losing any heat 2) You perfectly set up the Cena/JBL storyline 3) You further your obvious goal of killing the credibility of the U.S. Title by putting it on Orlando Jordan How can you go wrong?
-
How is he a heel now? I was at Armageddon and he got one of the biggest face pops of the night for what he did (unless he did something on Smackdown I missed, which is forgivable, considering I don't watch Smackdown).
-
The current ME for No Way Out is scheduled to be Big Show vs. JBL, so no.
-
I've been on the fringe for a while now, but I've made the decision: If they fuck up this ECW PPV and in any way, shape, or form tarnish the name of ECW by putting on a non-authentic show, I quit watching wrestling. Vince buying WCW and producing the lamest WWF vs. WCW angle ever was bad. Stephanie McMahon as lead booker was worse. But shitting on the legacy of ECW is where I draw the fucking line. If I had the motivation, with the state of wrestling as it is, I could easily stop watching. Spitting on ECW would be motivation enough. I'm skeptical.

*UPDATE* PWI just confirmed that the PPV will be happening on June 5th, 2005. I wonder if TNA would let Jerry Lynn work the show. Given that they're not too popular in the indy fan community for withholding people from working RoH, if word got out that they wouldn't allow Lynn to work an ECW reunion PPV, TNA would not be winning any popularity points with the indy crowd.
-
They could switch the titles to the other brands to freshen things up. Although I think its obvious this is being done to make Cena HHH's new bitch.
-
You can hate Brock Lesnar for leaving all you want (at least he did it honorably, doing the job to Goldberg at Mania on the way out instead of no-showing), but you have to admit one thing: Smackdown absolutely fell apart when he left and it really would help stabilize things if he came back.
-
Wouldn't that mean they WON'T be in the title matches? They could switch brands for the 2005 Draft Lottery.
-
All I have to say is WWE better know what they're doing and should just give Heyman 100% control of the show. If you're going to book an ECW reunion show in an ECW hotspot like the Hammerstein Ballroom, it's going to be filled with the old ECW smartened fans.
-
Yeah, really. What the fuck would Stephanie McMahon know about how to book an ECW show anyways. Stephanie was the one dead-set against Paul Heyman being on the creative team. If you're that goddamn ignorant, then you don't have a mind for wrestling. Of course, I'm sure we all know the real reason is because Stephanie knows her job is threatened as long as Heyman is anywhere close to her level. How much do you want to bet if they do this lame-ass carbon copy ECW PPV that Triple H "invades" and wins the main event? Oh yeah, and here's a novel idea: How about doing an ECW re-union PPV in the goddamn ECW Arena?
-
That kind of shit is why they shouldn't even be doing this. Heyman has said that it should just be left alone because it will never be what it used to be.

Official Royal Rumble 05 Entrance List
QuestionMan replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
The Dudleys vs. The Hardys at Rumble 2000 was not a tag title match. The tag title match at that show was the New Age Outlaws vs. The APA, in which the Outlaws won in about 2 minutes due to interference from the Mean Street Posse. -

I think that was the point of Ivory's comment on Heat.

After the house show, I met up with some friends at the Fozzy concert. My friend Christina showed me where Gene Snitsky signed her left boob. Is that not surreal or what? GENE SNITSKY SIGNS BOOBS! For the record, the signature on her right boob I have no idea who it was and she doesn't either. click it
-
Ivory is on the RAW superstars page.
-
Actually, Lesnar was getting quite good at working the microphone. His promos on Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goldberg were very well done.
-
The house show was pretty cool. But the Fozzy concert was tons more fun. And it couldn't have been Jericho, because Jericho left before the show was over to get ready for the Fozzy concert, thus couldn't have been outside after the show.

She was a bit intoxicated so her memory wasn't that sharp.

Wasn't this already posted in the WON thread?

I even remember them hyping up No Mercy 2002, and them saying "Edge & Rey Mysterio will fight Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle for the right to be called the very first WWE Tag Team Champions!" So, I'm guessing even WWE knows the lineage of the World Tag Team Titles on RAW has the whole lineage.
-
Yeah, then minutes later, they handed the New Age Outlaws' their asses.

I was at that show live. One of the best live wrestling moments I've ever experienced. And I've experienced a lot of them (debut of Scott Hall in WCW, the first Sting vs. Hogan match in 1995, David Flair being given the U.S. Titl---oh, wait....)
