    Flair's back bumps

Yeah, Flair has always taken back bumps on his side since the crash. Age has nothing to do with the issue.

OAO Thread: The Eddie Guerrero Story

    WWE Considering Bringing Back X-Pac?

Three words: Grand Master Sexay. In other words, NO.

    Bad Ratings News For WWE

How is this bad news? Isn't this on par with the usual numbers (RAW at least)?
  5. It appears that Chris Nowinski's career is over, as he's just not making progress from his post-concussion syndrome. It's a similar deal to what ended Bret Hart's career. It is not certain, but as time has gone by, it is now considered probable. There is talk of the company hiring him for either a business role or a P.R. role, but nothing has been decided upon. Nowinski has been working with doctors and athletic trainers about the effects of concussions and gave a speech on 5/14 at Fenway Park. "Because of the culture of the game (talking about football, not pro wrestling, although there are mental similarities on this issue), football players are always lying about concussions." Nowinski's problems are believed now to date back to conussions suffered while playing football compounded by those suffered in WWE. The idea of talking is to geth through to players and coaches that it's a serious issue that players are ignoring and hurts them in the long run. The idea is to convince athletes when they admit that they are hurt that they aren't wimping out. -- credit: Dave Meltzer/Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Norman Smiley getting WWE dark match, apparently

Norman would be a great pickup. I was at RAW in Atlanta, GA in Philips Arena in April 2003 and Norman had a dark match against Mark Jindrak and it was regarded as the best match of the night. Anyone that can pull a good match out of Jindrak deserves a contract.

    WWE Finisher

I remember that whole situation. Perry Saturn went on his website and went on a tirade on Hogan for making the comment. He then started berating Hogan like crazy and said he'd take back everything if Hogan ever worked a program with Kidman. After the April 10th, 2000 Nitro, Saturn went on his website and retracted the statements.

what should be on the eddie dvd

Is that 1995 WCW Saturday Night match the one where both men where counted out inside of the ring after Benoit hit a belly-to-back suplex?

Who does Eddy fight after Bradshaw

If Billy Gunn were to win the tag titles with Bob Holly, I think Gunn would become the biggest tag team title whore ever. That would be 11 times with 4 different people. Wow. Slut.
  12. QuestionMan

Who does Eddy fight after Bradshaw

They're giving all the guys that have been around for a long time WWE Title pushes, despite being heatless mid-carders at the beginning of the push. Hardcore Holly and Bradshaw are examples. Billy Gunn is next. And Stone Cold's not around to hold him back now! Haha!
  13. QuestionMan

    The Rock's weight.

My friends and I laughed when he was announced at WrestleMania at 275 pounds. Also, I was watching the Monday Night War DVD today and noticed that Rock's voice was considerably deeper in 1997 than it is today. So, it's obvious now whatever hormone he was taking back then he is off of now.

    Maven returns this Monday

WWE.com has learned that RAW Superstar Maven will make his return on Monday night to participate in the Battle Royal. -- WWE.Com For the record, Maven is replacing Grand Master Sexay in the battle royal, who of course, was fired from WWE on Monday.

WWE will never defeat the newsgroups.
  16. Another recap says Miller said the creative team told him to go out and dance "like a black Dusty Rhodes."

Please keep in mind, 1Wrestling reported this and everyone else still hasn't. I bet Ryder adds a "?" to it later.

Lex Luger's babyface run in 1993

I remember marking out when UT opened his trench coat and the American flag was embroidered inside the coat. That was awesome.
  21. QuestionMan

If the Smarks could choose the matches

Ah yes, Chris Benoit vs. Dean Malenko at Hog Wild '96. The event where these two put on a double-overtime technical classic in front of a moronic group of stupid bikers who chant "Boring" constantly. Maybe they'll fix it in editing.
  22. http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=2269&p=1 If you read the Smackdown spoilers, you know that Jackie beat Chavo Guerrero to win the Cruiserweight title. As Mike Johnson reported yesterday, WWE had planned to bring up Tough Enough 3 winner Matt Cappotelli to take on Chavo for the title, but he suffered a concussion on a house show on 4/24 and could not work last night. So, Stephanie McMahon made the decision, from what I heard, to put Jackie in the bout instead. Jackie has been lobbying to wrestle against a man for a while now. I have talked to a number of people on the Smackdown roster who think this was a horrible move. I agree with them. For the record, Cappotelli was wrestling his old TE3 buddy, Bob Holly, in the match where he got injured.
  23. QuestionMan

Stephanie McMahon directly made the call...

Jacqueline vs. Chavo on Judgment Day would further make a case for possible Worst PPV of 2004.
  24. QuestionMan

Stephanie McMahon directly made the call...

Yeah, because everyone saw him as a lowly jobber up until now. Yeah, because everyone saw Nunzio and Johnny Stamboli as two stars on the cusp of stardom.
  25. QuestionMan

Stephanie McMahon directly made the call...

There's a big difference between working stiff and going into a ring intentionally trying to hurt someone, which is what Bob Holly admitted he did during Tough Enough, so I wouldn't put it past him to do it in a real match.
