The way I remember the story is that the first time Palumbo & O'Haire were in the WWF locker room, they kind of looked at Droz funny and just walked off. They eventually came up to him once someone explained to them who he was. Droz also bitched them out for not immediately shaking Undertaker's hand, as if that was the first thing they were supposed to do.

PWInsider Update: WWE is arguing that the wrestlers' claims that the company is illegally classifying their performers as independent contractors are not valid due to a statute of limitations, since the wrestlers signed the initial deals more than six years ago. WWE broke down many of the claims against the company in today's filing, noting that many of the most recent responses by Levy, etc. actually contradict their earlier statements and claimed that while the wrestlers were full compensated for their contractual obligations, they are now trying to "re-write provisions of their fully performed Booking Contract" after the fact via the lawsuit. WWE is asking again for a full dismissal of the lawsuit against them. WWE backed up their filing today with 89 pages of motions and judgments from other cases involving similar matters.

PWInsider is reporting that Batista is not backstage at the show, so that match will not happen. Trish Stratus and Johnny Devine are backstage. Devine is getting a tryout match while Stratus is visiting. There's a chance she may make an on-air cameo.

Lilian Garcia accidentally announced CM Punk as one half of the World Tag Team Champions at Armageddon. After Lilian sat down, fans at ringside witnessed a member of the production team come up to her and yell at her for making the wrong announcement. She shook her head and held her hands out while yelling, "No one told me!" He left the area after that. The encounter was said to be very brief, but Lilian looked very distressed.

The Cutting Edge with guest Matt Hardy. Edge claimed he didn't do anything to Jeff Hardy at the PPV, which brings out Matt Hardy, saying all signs point to Edge being involved. Edge tells him that he's only out there because the only time anyone cares about Matt Hardy is when Jeff Hardy is involved. Matt and Edge brawl, and Vladimir Kozlov shows up and lays out Matt. The Great Khali defeated Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder in a Handicap Match. Eve interviews Triple H, who promises he'll become a 13-time champion at Armageddon. The Bella Twins defeated Natalya & Maryse. Eve interviewed Vladimir Kozlov. He said he would beat Matt Hardy for the ECW title and then challenge the winner of the WWE title match to become a double champion. Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H ended in a no-contest when Edge came out and destroyed both with his title belt. After the cameras went off, both men recovered and Jeff ate a pedigree. Dark Match The Undertaker defeated The Big Show in a Cage Match.
