William Regal Suspended for 60 Days
QuestionMan replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
I seem to recall WWE changing it up because it wrecked the 2006 Great American Bash PPV. Didn't they change it to where the first violation doesn't involve being removed from TV, but being suspended from house shows and not getting paid for TV? I guess they changed that since Kennedy was off TV for 30 days for his first offense, and if they weren't going to mutate that rule for that McMahon's son storyline, they won't ever. -

But they have done this before. Remember when they held the World Title up after the HHH/Edge/Benoit three-way where Edge and Benoit pinned each other only to have HHH win the belt back in the Elimination Chamber? This is just loyalty service to Undertaker to pad his title reigns. -

Well Regal's the first bust since the change where people had to urinate in directly front of testing representatives. Maybe he was cheating the system before. -

Don't know who unearthed this one, but someone has found one a studio outtake photo from way back in 1991 of Sensational Sherri with the Undertaker. EDIT: Seems this was posted in the pictures thread. Oh well. -
Pretty funny I posted these. Ahmed Johnson did an interview over the weekend. He said he was told that when he came back from his injury, Faarooq's character was going to change after he embraced the Muslim lifestyle and he would start up a group full of people he converted. He said during the feud, Faarooq would constantly try to convert him, finally succeeding after a few months. Of course, when the Nation of Domination started, they chose to stay away from the Muslim/religious overtones and were just a group of thugs. Ahmed did eventually join, but that angle ended when he got injured again.

William Regal Suspended for 60 Days

There was scuttlebutt that Vince was almost giddy that he got to suspend Hardy. The reasoning was that if Congress ever came calling, he could say, "Hey look! I suspended an insanely popular guy who was in my main events less than a month before his suspension and it kept him out of the biggest show of the year!" And we all know this could be true because Jeff Hardy does not have what McMahon envisions in terms of "the look" in wrestling. -

Former WWF Intercontinental Champion Ahmed Johnson recently revealed in an interview that the reason he walked out of the WWF in February 1998 was to tend to his dying sister. Johnson claimed she died three days after he quit. He said he was so embarassed by the way he handled things he's never had the guts to call Vince for his job back. He also claimed that Ron Simmons purposely injured him when Simmons kicked him in the stomach during his WWF debut as Faarooq Asad in July 1996. -
You forgot the part where they did another Montreal finish at Starrcade '99 between Bret & Goldberg with Piper as the referee, which ended up with the title being held up and Bret winning it back the next night in the nWo re-start.

I figured this was threadworthy, because these are some heavy hitters and some heavy statements being thrown around. I also wonder if it'll affect The Rock's status for the Hall of Fame show. The entire interview can be found here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...ticle849554.ece

PWI is reporting that Jeff Hardy vs. MVP is being added to the show.

Great American Bash 2000 was even more ridiculous, with both Hogan vs. Kidman and David vs. Ric being possible career-ending matches for Hogan and Flair. Like anyone ever gave that a thought.
-
I have to agree. WCW from about mid-98 to late-99 was the total cure for narcolepsy.
-
It wouldn't shock me about Punk. They killed Matt Striker's initial push he got from hanging with Kurt Angle during his hometown hero challenge when he declined an invite from JBL to go out drinking after a show.

I posted the info on the Rock DVD way back a few pages in this thread. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...t&p=2658754

She looked a lot better before WWE. She wasn't a drugged out, anorexic, punk princezz back during her "Ryan McKenzie" days. -
Looks like WWE 2008 spring cleaning has begun. -- Dave Taylor -- Balls Mahoney -- Michael Thompson (developmental talent) -- Torrie Wilson

Funaki and Shawn are neighbors in San Antonio. Funaki also helped out with his wrestling school in 1999-2000. -

Well, Funaki is specifically around because he's a good friend of Shawn Michaels. Venis and Richards are Vince favorites. -

I doubt it. In her myspace posts, she sounds really tired of wrestling and really enthusiastic about her store in Texas. Although she might be attracted to the one day a week thing. -
Don't forget that little stretch in '99 when he liked to yell "WHO'S YOUR DADDY (insert heel name here)? WHO'S YOUR DADDY?"

Add Torrie Wilson to the list. -
I think a thread should be made everytime CM Punk loses a TV match.

Then why did they hire him?
