QuestionMan replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
If I remember correctly, he had minor liposuction before debuting for the WWF. I'll never forget when he was walking down to the ring on Raw during his first run as WWF Champion with the belt around his waist. Halfway down the ramp, the belt snaps off his waist and falls to the ground. Heh heh. -

I don't understand why people get a wedgie if some stuff is getting reposted if it's being transcribed from a newsletter. Also there are cases, like the Batista/fake cop story, where the OMG THIS WAS ALREADY SAID bit actually had more information than was available before. I just don't think it's something to get bent out of shape about to the point where you someone has to go back and actually remove stuff. Are those 15-30 seconds taken to read stuff you already knew really that valuable? I bet more time is spent editing this down than it would be to just read it or skip it. -

Big Show was 420 when he debuted in WCW in 1995 as a 21-year-old. I can't wait to see him in shape again. Hopefully this isn't another fake out story, like Jim Ross' constant updates about how Big Show was losing tons of weight in OVW, then he returned at Royal Rumble '01 fatter than ever. -

Oh well, I'm sure there will be torrents for the HD feed. -
Eh, I have to agree that Styles & Coachman would be a trainwreck because they've never done it before. I would tolerate Styles & Lawler or Styles & Tazz.

Jim Ross stated on his most recent blog that he is pushing for Joey Styles & Jonathan Coachman to do the Rumble match this year.

I still jack off to the Leena thong pictures I ganked off her MySpace before she closed the account.

What's the over/under for air-time Snitsky gets next week on the HD debut? I say 25 minutes, with 15 of them being extreme close-ups. -
Is this leading to Colin snapping on Tazz and then getting his ass kicked by Tazz?

Wel, my girlfriend used to go to college at UAB in Birmingham, AL, so there are a lot of computers in the city. -

You're fucking kidding, right? Back in 1998, every goddamn person in the United States knew who Stone Cold Steve Austin was. -

Yeah, USA HD and Sci-Fi HD just launched. It's on DirecTV, a very, VERY small amount of digital cable providers and that's about it. A lot more people have access to CW HD. -

If they were jumping to Dolby 5.1, then maybe. But they said they are staying with stereo for the time being. -

WWE sent out a press release on Monday confirming that Raw and Smackdown will get new stage sets next week to celebrate the move to HD. http://corporate.wwe.com/news/2008/2008_01_14.jsp Raw has had its set since the first night of the brand extension in April 2002. Smackdown has had its set since August 2001. -

The Beacon Journal is reporting that Batista was stopped by a man pretending to be a police officer after leaving the Smackdown/ECW show on January 5 in Canton, Ohio. The impostor had a red flashing light on the top of his vehicle. Upon realizing that the man didn't have proper police equipment or a badge, he immediately drove away and contacted the local police department. After meeting with Batista at a nearby Interstate off-ramp, police were unable to find the impostor. -- PWI -
I had no idea projector screens blew up when you tear them. I'll have to try that out.

A SURPRIZE OR TWO!

We'll know who wins at the Rumble based on who walks out with the IC Title tonight. I will say, this is the first time in a long time where they have made the IC Title look really important by keeping it on Hardy all this time instead of immediately making him drop it right as his big push starts (think John Cena jobbing the U.S. Title to Orlando Jordan before his big push against JBL started).

84-year-old Mae Young just did a crazy interview with the World Wrestling Insanity radio show. In the interview, she revealed that she plans to wrestle a match on her 100th birthday. Her opponent? Aurora Rose LeVesque, the daughter of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. Mae and Stephanie have been talking about it. The match would take place on on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Aurora would be 17 years old at that moment. -

So, Hornswoggle spraypainting a tunnel on a wall and magically running through it is only moderately ridiculous? -

On the Raw15 show where the crowd barely made a peep for all the nostalgia acts and even some of the current ones, they went fucking crazy for Hornswoggle. First time I've ever heard a crowd chant his name. And all the Disco-to-WWF talk started when they ran one of their "Informer" pieces of the magazine speculating on Honky Tonk Man's new protege shortly after Disco disappeared from WCW TV. It had a silhouette of John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever and speculation that Honky's new guy was going to "burn the mother down," a line that was used in Disco's WCW theme. -
Terribly inaccurate wrestling predictions you made

I was never more positive in my life that Owen Hart would win the WWF Title from Bret Hart at SummerSlam 1994 and that Booker T would beat HHH at WM19. -
Jamie Noble defeated Chuck Palumbo on Smackdown to win a spot in the Royal Rumble...despite the fact that there was absolutely no mention of their match being a Rumble qualifier on the Smackdown broadcast. WWE.Com has listed Noble as an entrant now by defeating Palumbo tonight. It's been over a week, and WWE.Com still has not listed Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore as entrants into the Rumble, so it looks like their qualifying win will be ignored, which I'm sure makes the fans in Canton, Ohio feel very important.

Mickie James didn't do pseudo-hardcore. There are multiple pictures of her fingering herself. That's way past pseudo.
