Hornswoggle is indeed only 21. I hate to sound unpolitically correct, but a lot of midgets share similar facial features.

Hulk Hogan is latest person to feud with eleven-time Emmy Award-winning American actress comedian, Rosie O'Donnell. At an American Gladiators press conference on Thursday, a journalist asked Hogan which celebrity he'd like to see the American Gladiators take on? "Without a doubt Rosie O’Donnell," Hogan said. "Somebody needs to shut that big mouth up." Rosie actually posted a response to Hogan on her blog at Rosie.com yesterday afternoon. Rosie wrote, "Hulk Hogan, the wrestler guy, wants to pummel me. Isn’t that sweet, and wildly odd." Rosie then related Hogan to her arch nemesis, Donald Trump. "It’s like a gang of gross guys, a club almost, old, dumb, white and on TV," she wrote. -

In an interview with the Kid Chris radio show in Philadelphia, JBL was asked about the incident from One Night Stand 2005 when he legitimately attacked the Blue Meanie during the end-show brawl and busted him open badly. JBL said he has personally apologized to Meanie for it, is still very sorry that it happened, and that he takes full blame for the incident for not handling it like a professional. He said that putting over Meanie on Smackdown a few weeks later was his idea. JBL had years-long heat with Meanie from an interview Meanie did in 2001 after referee Billy Silverman, who had just been hired from the dead WCW, quit the WWF after intense bullying and "bad-natured" ribbing backstage. Bradshaw was one of the people Silverman specifically outed, saying that he made him carry everyone's beer around as "punishment" for flying first class, despite paying for his own ticket. He also told a story where Bradshaw grabbed Charles Robinson, (who also just came from the dead WCW) stripped him down to his boxers, duct taped him to a storage trunk, and wheeled him around backstage. Meanie backed Silverman and claimed Bradshaw was a huge bully in the locker room and said he treated people he felt were beneath him like total garbage. -

WWE contacted Bret Hart the week before the Raw15 special to try and get him to appear. WWE wanted to buy the American rights to his autobiography so that they could get it published here in exchange for a live appearance on the Raw15 show. However, the deal hit a permanent snag when WWE told Bret they wanted to change some things in the book, which Bret 100% refused. When WWE wouldn't relent on editing the book, Bret eventually told them no thanks. -- PWI -

That still doesn't answer why they promoted the first Smackdown magazine in late 2003 with an interview with Savage. -

That Savage clip is from 2003 back when he was launching his web site that never went anywhere. -

WWE has signed Reid Fliehr, the 20-year old son of Ric Flair, to a developmental contract and will be reporting to Florida Championship Wrestling after the holidays in January. Reid made a few appearances on WCW television in 1998, attacking Eric Bischoff. He also appeared again in 2000 during Flair's feud with Vince Russo. His hair was shaved off by Russo on an episode of Nitro a few shows before Russo shaved Ric's head. Reid has an extensive amateur wrestling background, which will no doubt help him in WWE. Shortly after Ric returned to the WWF in 2001, his other son, former WCW U.S. Champion David Flair, was signed to a contract, but only made a few appearances on TV (all getting detroyed by the Undertaker in the build to Taker vs. Flair at WM18). David was eventually released because WWE didn't see anything in him. After a short run in TNA in 2003, David gave up on wrestling and went back to his original goal of being a police officer, which he is now. -

Local ads for No Way Out confirm the previously stated plans of an Elimination Chamber match for a shot at a title at WrestleMania 24. This is how WWE will be doing things. 15 wrestlers from Raw and 15 wrestlers from Smackdown/ECW will be in the Rumble. Of course, whoever wins gets to face either the WWE Champ, World Champ, or ECW Champ in the main event of WM24. This is where it gets interesting. The last six guys that got eliminated will now be involved in an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out. The winner of that match will be able to choose between the two champions that weren't selected by the Rumble winner. WWE is doing this so that No Way Out no longer feels like a lame duck show in between the Rumble and Mania. For example, let's say WWE started this in 2007. Of course, The Undertaker won the Rumble. If this second chance Chamber match had been on No Way Out, the Chamber match would have been Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge vs. MVP vs. The Great Khali vs. Chavo Guerrero. -
One night only deal. Santino had an open challenge, RVD came in and squashed him.

Was it just me, or did Lita look a little chubby?

Confirming that Rob Van Dam's return was (for now) a one-night-only thing, WWE.Com has added a bio for him in the WWE Alumni section.

WWE.Com has posted a video of all the entrances for the battle royal without the commercial break, complete with who-the-fuck-is-this responses for IRS and Skinner.

I think the fans aren't getting behind Jericho for three reasons: 1) As many have pointed out, he dresses very metrosexually 2) Everyone's last memory of him was as a heel, feuding with crowd favorite John Cena and getting fired like a bitch because he went like 0-25 against Cena 3) What has he done to deserve a title shot? He sits out for 2.5 years, waltzes back in and immediately he gets a title shot? I don't think many fans buy that

The first time I ever heard of it was the DVD forums in the urban legend thread. But even then, WWE had an interview with Randy Savage in 2003 as a big marketing sell for the debut of Smackdown Magazine. I think the only reason you don't hear much out of Savage since WCW died is that he asks for way too much money and doesn't realize he's not a huge deal anymore. See his TNA run in 2004. -
I saw one of the Hos during the first segment start to flash Hornswoggle but abruptly stopped, so someone probably screamed "NO".
-
I noticed Hulk made sure his bandana stayed in place about three times during the fight with Khali, and Hogan usually ends up throwing off the bandana during a fight. I thought someone just took a hair straightener to his hair, but the extension thing makes sense. And Austin was drunk off his ass tonight. He was slurring all of his words, made two gay jokes, and sounded very, VERY more redneck than usual.
-
PWI has a lot of explaining to with no Sid on the show. But perhaps it's for the best. He probably would have gotten no pop from the dumb crowd either.
-
I'll second that. I want to see the live report on what happens after the show is off the air. Usually when SCSA is there he puts on a hell of a show for the live fans. I was at the Raw in 2004 where The Rock came back and helped Foley beat down Evolution. After the show, Rock, Austin, Foley, and Lilian Garcia were goofing off in the ring until about 11:45.
-
And I just went back and re-watched. CM Punk is holding a Pepsi.
-
It would have been a better show if they ran it in a city like Chicago. The dead, unsmart crowd kind of ruined the nostalgia bits.
-
Austin sounds drunk as fuck.
