It might have been a spot where Melina was supposed to break up a 3 count and didn't get there in time or forgot. Referees are told to never stop a count unless something happens to avoid making fucked up false finishes look even more peculiar.

TITLE CHANGES HANDS IN PARIS...AND THEN CHANGES AGAIN At the 4/24 WWE house show in Paris, France, Mickie James defeated Melina and Victoria in a triple threat match to win the Women's Title by pinning Victoria. 2 matches later, Mickie and Melina had a rematch in which Melina won the belt back. It is not known whether the initial title change was an accident or if it was something they decided to do for the Paris fans. EDIT: Dave Meltzer is saying it was an accident.

There wasn't even going to be a Austin/Lesnar feud. That's what made the idea of jobbing out Austin to Brock even more dumb. The job was only going to further the feud between Austin and the Flair/Anderson/Benoit/Guerrero faction. I think that's another reason Austin put the kilbosh to it. Austin thought Brock deserved better than just some throwaway match that wasn't even going to be acknowledged in a month. Also, yes, the creative team saw Austin was very upset with the booking and let him book his own angle entirely with an opponent of his choosing. He chose Eddie Guerrero, and that's where the Austin/Guerrero feud came from. The two were supposed to have a match at King of the Ring 2002 until Austin bailed due to the Brock controversy. The only instances I can think of Austin was in 1999 when he refused to do feuds with Jeff Jarrett and Billy Gunn. And honestly, who wasn't glad he did that? Refusing to drop the title to HHH at SummerSlam 1999 was questionable (thus having to bring in Foley to win the title and drop it to HHH the next night), but HHH wasn't really ready at that moment. Austin did a lot to put over Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, & Rob Van Dam in 2001. Austin did a clean job to RVD before RVD had even hit the 2-month mark in the WWF. He saw RVD was already getting insane crowd reactions and felt the situation was perfect, so RVD pinned Austin clean on Smackdown. I doubt he was happy with how certain people HHHandled his career afterwards.

Top Ten "Jobs" in Modern Wrestling

Meltzer said it was 100% true. Gagne offered Sheik $100,000 to break Hogan's leg during the match.

Austin has stated 1,000,000 times that he'll put anyone over if it makes sense and is good for business (aka makes money). The reason he didn't job to Brock is that he thought that Brock deserved way better than some throwaway match that was announced and made only for Raw. And honestly, he was right on that.

I saw Mike Knox & Derrick Neikirk (as "Team Elite") against Tony Santorelli & Mike Taylor (as "High Impact") in a dark match at a Smackdown taping in September 2005. They were all pretty brutal. I wonder what Paul Heyman saw in Knox.

Yeah, right. Orton could kill Stephanie and HHH's kid and they'd still keep him around.

Remember when Steve Austin "pissed" on him backstage? If anyone's piss looked like that, they need to seriously go to the doctor. It looks like liquified mustard. But the unofficial WWE 4 Horsemen group of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Chris Benoit, & Eddie Guerrero in 2002 was looking to be cool until Austin walking out fucked everything up and they had to turn Flair face again.

SUPER CRAZY INJURED Super Crazy tore the MCL in his left leg during a battle royal at last night's show in Oberhausen, Germany. While teaming with Val Venis in a tag team match, Crazy was double suplexed by Daniel Rodimer and Kenny Dykstra. Crazy immediately held his leg and rolled outside. He was helped out by two referees. WWE.Com has reported the injury with pictures of Crazy being attended at ringside.

For those who read the Arn Anderson note and are wondering, Arn is 48 and will turn 49 on September 20. They had a "Brahma Bull" belt made for The Rock that they were going to use in 1999 but it was never used.

    My WWE Theme Collection

Does anyone have Goldust's original, 1st theme music? The one on here is from the Full Metal CD, which was mixed a little differently than the one he actually used in arenas. I think the true Goldust music was ripped off the WWF In Your House video game for the PlayStation. Speaking of rips from that game, does anyone have Shawn Michaels' REAL theme music with the harder guitars and not the song from Full Metal?

I think Miss Elizabeth definitely has a spot, but you have to watch out for a buzzkill by inducting too many dead people.

A few new pictures of Tammy "Sunny" Sytch

I remember before the Godwinns lost the tag belts to the Smoking Gunns, they showed an angle taped at the show where the Godwinns won the belts. After the match, Sunny was holding a piece of paper and went into a room with Phineas. Henry & Hillbilly Jim were outside wondering what was going on, and all of a sudden Phineas busted out of the room with his overalls undone saying that he just signed Sunny to be their co-manager.

Sean O'Haire almost killed in a bar fight

He didn't make it because he didn't introduce himself to The Undertaker during his first time in the WWF locker room, which was such a horrid thing to do, Droz had to tell everyone about it on WWF.Com. Duh.
