Best of Smackdown 2006.

And you might want to fix the "Mecury" misspelling in the topic sub-title.

December To Dismember DVD extras have been announced -- Post Chamber Interviews -- ECW Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Big Show, 12/5 ECW on Sci-Fi

Oh yes, forgot about those. Barry Windham was Col. Parker's mystery man for Ric Flair in the WCW Title match at Slamboree 1994. Curt Henning had a WCW Title shot against Goldberg at Bash at the Beach 1998.
-
There's also Piper vs. Hogan for the WCW Title from Superbrawl 1997, where Macho Man broke his alliance with Sting and officially joined the nWo.

Whaaaaaaaat?

Jesus, Jannetty is such a chump. He's had every chance to revitalize his career ever since his match with Kurt Angle and has just blown it time after time after time. Not much makes me crazy about wrestling these days, but I would have gone bananas for the originally scheduled Rockers vs McMahons match at Backlash.

What's with WWE and undefeated streaks?
QuestionMan replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
I remember Tazz busted up Kurt Angle's winning streak. Sure did wonders for his career, didn't it? -
Kennedy's got a lot against him now because he was over big with Paul Heyman and and a big Heyman supporter.

Meltzer says the current plan is UT winning.

Someone on the writing team must have been a Phillies fan in the early 90s. A tribute to Lenny Dykstra?

I think Scott Hall and The British Bulldog win the award for being the only guys to get both a WWF and a WCW Title shot on PPV in one-on-one matches and never, ever win either title. WWF Royal Rumble 1993 - WWF Title: Bret Hart vs. Razor Ramon WCW Uncensored 1998 - WCW Title: Sting vs. Scott Hall WCW Slamboree 1993 - WCW Title: Vader vs. British Bulldog WWF In Your House October 1995 - WWF Title: Diesel vs. British Bulldog WWF In Your House December 1995 - WWF Title: Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog WWF In Your House: Beware of Dog (May 1996) - WWF Title: Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog WWF In Your House: Beware of Dog 2 (May 1996) - WWF Title: Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog WWF King of the Ring 1996 - WWF Title: Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog Even though it doesn't count, there's also the 3-way WCW title match from Superbrawl 2000 featuring Sid Vicious vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Hall and Bulldog was involved in the '92 Royal Rumble for the title. Bulldog was also supposed to get a shot at Rick Rude's "WCW International Heavyweight Title" at Starrcade 1993 before he dipped out of the company.

Since when were Cornette and Heyman enemies? Cornette hates Russo & Ferrera.

SD & ECW spoilers for the 12/15 & 12/16 airings

Sure, RVD made a huge mistake. But what I don't understand is how this company can continually give a shithead like Randy Orton 5th and 6th chances to be a top star. Even after all the incredibly stupid bullshit this idiot has done, they are still lining him up to win the WWE Title at WM23. Looks a little hypocritical to me. -
Do none of you remember HHH vs. HBK on last year's show in Afghanistan?
-
1. Barry Bloom. He's the "wrestling agent" who also represents Kevin Nash & Mick Foley. He also used to represent Scott Hall. Bloom was able to get big money from WWE for Foley's services (by setting up a WWE vs. TNA bidding war) before Foley signed his new deal in mid-2005. 2. They were making it sound like Eddie starting becoming tense after Rey beat him at WM21. Rey kept losing all their tag matches, so Eddie used that to take out his anger. When they lost the belts to MNM, Eddie snapped~!

Because he's not a hoss.

Vickie has job security though,so why should she bother? The likes of torrie and Michelle mcCool have to starve themselves because they're worried about being upstaged, but unless Eddie had another widow out there, Vickie is irreplacable. I mean, let's face it, even if she tried her hardest to look good and lose weight, she'd never be able to compete with the divas. She's not steph, she doesn't apear on tv for the ego trip. Well, there is that woman Eddie had a kid with while he was divorced from Vickie...

WWE RELEASES DANNY DORING World Wrestling Entertainment released Danny Doring today. Doring, the final ECW World Tag Team champion when the original company shut down, had appeared several times in enhancement roles for the company, but (much like Francine before him) hadn't been given much of a chance to do anything in the revitalized brand before the company cut him loose. It sure was really nice of the company to drop the guy ten days before Christmas, too. With Paul Heyman gone and Tommy Dreamer out of the loop politically, I wouldn't be shocked to see more names from the original ECW company released. It's becoming more obvious, in my opinion, that now that ECW has been established as a "WWE brand", names that were signed on to give the ECW re-launch "old school" credibility have little use for World Wrestling Entertainment and as we've seen with Doring and Francine, will be discarded without even being given much of a fighting chance to truly prove themselves to WWE management.

It's an error. Simon Inoki is the president of NJPW. WWE.Com is just full of goofballs.

Wrestling Society-X Debuting On MTV January 30, 2007
QuestionMan posted a topic in General Wrestling
MTV will begin airing episodes of "Wrestling Society X" starting on Tuesday, January 30th at 10:30pm both eastern and pacific times. There have been several incorrect start dates floating around the internet, but PWInsider.com has confirmed that January 30th is the correct date (although, this is MTV, who have been known to make sudden changes to their schedule). Obviously, this means the show will be going head-to-head with ECW on Sci Fi, which airs at 10pm. MTV has agreed to air ten episodes of the project, which will combine wrestling with live music performances by bands including Deftones, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory and others. The wrestling end of the project is being handled by Big Vision producer (and former XPW official) Kevin Klinerock as the head writer with Vampiro and Cody Michaels also involved in the creative end as agents. Talent being used for the project includes Ruckus, Vampiro, Sean Waltman, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal, Lizzy Valentine, Teddy Hart, The Human Tornado, Dragon's Gate stars Masato Yoshino and Genki Horiguchi, Colt Cabana, Jimmy Jacobs, Ricky Banderas, Aaron Aguilera (aka Jesus, Carlito's bodyguard in '04), B-Boy and others. Tapings took place last month in California for the project. -
Given how awesome Booker T. has been in the King Booker gimmick, I now wonder how well he would have pulled off Papa Shango 2004 if they had went with it as UT's first feud after WM20.
