Well, after the Brewers got done pounding the Cubs yesterday, I'm definitely looking forward to today's "rubber match." Chris Capuano vs Carlos Zambrano...should be fun to watch either way. Here's the pitching match-up preview, from MLB.com: "Scouting Report: Capuano has clearly been the Brewers' most consistent starter this season, with five quality starts, including two straight in which he's pitched at least seven innings. In his last two starts (both wins) Capuano has pitched a total of 14 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits with 14 strikeouts. The changeup has been the key pitch for Capuano, who led the Majors after his most recent start with 34 strikeouts. It certainly seems odd that Carlos Zambrano ranks among the National League leaders in strikeouts but still doesn't have a win. Big Z matched a career high with 12 strikeouts in his last start April 24 against the Marlins yet did not get a decision. Zambrano also showed his strength when he broke his bat over his knee after striking out. Don't mess with him."

OF - Dunn, Abreu, Lee If "Lee" means "Carlos Lee", than yes. If "Derrek Lee", than no, as he's injured.

I wish the US would enact a similar law (at least for marijuana). I'm personally not in favor of pot smoking, but I'd rather not see my tax dollars wasted on a "war" that hasn't worked for the last 25 years.

I'm pretty sure Buff and Luger are only one shot deals. Maybe you'll see them work one match, but that's about it. I really don't mind stuff like that, as long as TNA knows we don't want to see these guys on a permanent basis. It's like when WWE brings back Hogan ever once in a while to pop a buyrate or make a special TV appearance...I'm cool with that as long as he doesn't work in a full time capacity. As far as the others you suggested: Kidman: Looks like he probably will be in sooner than later. Mike Awesome: Has already worked TNA in the past...probably no reason to bring him back. Bryan Clark: Why? He has virtually no name value, and is just a generic big man worker. Stasiak: When has this guy ever shown himself to be anything more than a fairly generic "nice boy, no charisma" type of wrestler? Yeah, he had that short run with Piper, but that went nowhere fast. Lance Storm: Basically retired already. Goldberg: Not gonna happen. TNA can't afford him, though I'm sure they'd love to have him. TNA has enough guys on their roster already. They need to make stars out of people like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin, Monty, Abyss, etc.

See, that's exactly it. Clearly these two cannot live in a civilized society, and yet they will probably be on the street in less than ten years, if that. Why do we tolerate these kinds of people in our country? Put them to death and set an example. At the very least, put them in prison for life and make them manufacture goods or do work to benefit the people they've shown they can't live with.

The thing I don't like is, yeah, I know the World Heavyweight Title was basically brought in as Triple H's trophy originally, but it still represents in image and name the WCW and NWA World Titles, like it or not. I don't think that legacy needs to be trashed to do this angle. Maybe they'll do something like this: RVD beats JBL for the World Heavyweight Title at ONS 2. Then, shortly after on a Smackdown episode or the next pay-per-view, RVD loses it in some total screwjob fashion. Paul Heyman comes out the next Smackdown and talks about how RVD represents the legacy of ECW, and how he's still a World Champion. Then he brings out RVD and proclaims him the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

The problem is, I doubt UPN would let them change "WWE Friday Night Smackdown" to "ECW Smackdown" or whatever. The WWE name is too valuable.

That's the dumb thing about hate crime legislation. What does it matter what the race of the victim is? What these two punks did was horrible, and they should be put away for a long time. If they had beat a white kid nearly to death, would that make the crime less evil?

Mike? LiM? You're even Miker than Mike! Highfive! I have no idea what any of that means. As far as the Western European countries, they sure seem to be having problems with Muslim immigrants. I realize a lot of those people are immigrating legally, but it just goes to show the problems that can happen when one culture tries to co-exist with another in the same nation. I guess we can look forward to race riots and a revival of neo-Nazi groups in this country.

I get what they're going for...the two "i" represent the controllers, and they're trying to emphasize this as a multi-player console. But, I can't imagine anyone saying "Let's play some Wii!"

Look, I accept the fact that the law says they are a US citizen. But like I said before, it wouldn't be that hard to make illegals leave the US. Prosecute employers that hire them, and cut off all welfare and social services to them. With no income and no means of suckling off the US government, they would be forced to leave eventually. It would take time, but it would work. You wouldn't have to use the army or some gestapo type tactics like some are claiming. Finally, build a wall to protect the border, and use lethal force if necessary to defend it. Seriously, why are some of you so anxious to see the sovereignty of this nation undermined? So we can eventually have the same problems places like France and the Netherlands are having?

I don't see how a law-breaking woman sneaking into the American Southwest desert and squeezing out a child constitutes the creation of an American, but that is how the law is right now. We can only handle so many Mexicans (and again, it's more than just them sneaking across the southern border). At some point they'll have to be eliminated in one fashion or another, or maybe we should just start billing their native countries for their presence here.

Well, rumor is that ECW might take over the late night "AM RAW" spot...hopefully USA would move that to a little bit better spot than 2 AM.

Gotta love how Meanie beat JBL in the ring, and then basically disappeared right after that. I think RVD vs JBL makes the most sense. I mean, I doubt we'd see Triple H job to RVD, especially on an ECW PPV. WWE probably doesn't want to make Cena a full-fledged heel yet, which he would be on an ECW PPV as the WWE Champion.
