I think the Marlins should do that deal with the Tigers, if it's indeed true. The Marlins aren't going to contend for the next couple years, but a bunch of young talent like that could set them up to have a solid window in a few years.

I don't think anyone tops Ultimate Warrior for me, as far as bad promos. I mean, even as a 10 year old complete and total mark, I would sometimes change the channel when did his long rambling promos. His ones leading up to WM6 against Hogan were probably the worst.

The internet should be looked at as more of a tool by both companies to generate interest and promote their product. I mean, look at how much buzz movies get now from the internet, before they even have previews in theaters. Maybe if WWE and TNA worked more with the internet instead of trying to fight it, they would be doing better business.

Since it was brought up in another thread...Jericho's return so far has been completely unentertaining to me so far. I'd swear he's being set up to fail, but let's not point fingers yet.

Ugh, I remember a lot of people on the 'net seriously believing it was going to be Owen Hart. It seemed like it was kind of obvious it was going to be McMahon when Austin was on Sunday Night Heat the night before the big reveal, and spouted something about "I'm not going to say who it is since the sum bitch isn't here anyway."

Sounds fine as an internship, just as long as you have realistic expectations about what you're going to get out of it. Most positions like that tend to be pretty unexciting, but they're definitely good on a resume to show you have real world job experience beyond flipping burgers.

Not that this will be too exciting to anyone, but I bit the bullet and went the Ebay route to get a Wii. Got Wii Play and Super Mario Galaxy with it. The wife should be happy.

I actually know someone who runs a Subway, and they said basically "the Feast" was introduced to combat the perception that Subway sandwiches don't have enough meat on them. They also noted it's kind of silly, since you can get the "double meat" option for around a buck more on most sandwiches there.

Eh...if the food is really that terrible that you wouldn't want to pay for it, you can probably flag down a staff person or go talk to the manager to get the problem resolved. Of course, that's assuming your complaint isn't total BS to begin with.

I like Scott Rolen, but he just had surgery a few months ago, if I'm not mistaken. He would definitely help the Brewers defensively, though, assuming Braun moves the outfield where his glove should be less of a liability.
