Why can't WWE learn that no one gives a crap about Hornswoggle? (Or the Coach, for that matter).

There's no chance in hell. He probably never has to work ever again, and he's dropping "The Rock" part of his name from his movie credits now. Jim Ross has also said (repeatedly) that he is done with wrestling. I wish people would let it go...it's time to move on from the Attitude Era anyway, and bringing back Rock and/or Austin every few months isn't going to accomplish that.

I hate the Barenaked Ladies. That brand of happy-go-lucky college party music just annoys the hell out of me for some reason.

I've heard different things about that...there were rumors a while ago that WWE would be introducing a new X-Division type title, but I don't know if that was just speculation or not. I think the smart thing would be to have Vickie Guerrero do a deal with Estrada where the CW Title gets resurrected on ECW to give that brand one more title, with it being defended occasionally on Smackdown as well.

Bonds is pretty much only admired in San Francisco, and that's about it. I don't think anyone is seriously arguing that. Really, the Hall should be about achievements and not "likeability", otherwise people like Ty Cobb wouldn't be in, either.

Why do they put active wrestlers on the list of candidates? That seems counter-productive to the whole concept of a "Hall of Fame"?

Yeah, it's not like the WWE Hall of Fame where they make a huge deal about it...it's just a newsletter thing. As far as Owen Hart...I loved him and he was my favorite wrestler, but he was never the focal point of a promotion, and never held a belt higher than the IC Title. I think if he had lived, he probably would have had more achievements that would make him HoF worthy (I really believe he would have gotten at least a token run with the WWF Championship), but as it is, I don't think his career is quite that noteworthy. Oh, and who the heck is Tom Packs? I'm looking that one up right now.

Is the movie still cool in a regular theater? We don't have any nearby IMAX theaters, that I'm aware of. Also...one thing I don't like about the previews...the movie doesn't seem like it "feels" like the written version. Am I wrong on this? It kind of looks like they're trying to be all 300 with it.

I have a Zenith model that's served me well for about three years now. Basically they just upgrade the resolution. You won't notice any extra stretching or anything (assuming it's a widescreen DVD) Most go through an HDMI input, though the one I have also uses component to output in 1080i.

I wasn't there yet to see this, but at the high school I went to, there is a home for mentally handicapped people across from the football field (off the school grounds, of course). Anyway, one year during a football game, someone from the home apparently went up to the roof, about five stories up, and jumped off during the game, in full view of the crowd.

That read like the kayfabe NWA rules from back in the day. I'm surprised they didn't say "no closed fists" and "no biting" as well. Hope this doesn't get passed, otherwise indy promotions are probably screwed down there.

For once I agree with Czech. Personally, I don't care if Bonds makes it in or not, but it's been clear that the writers aren't going to vote someone with severe baggage in, generally.

Well, if he gets convicted there's probably a good chance he gets banned from baseball, which would lock him out of the Hall of Fame effectively. Personally, yeah, I acknowledge he's a great player, but he's brought all these problems on himself, so I don't care what his legacy is at this point.
