When has it ever been said that he went to community college? *Generally* to get into business school, you need a 4-year college degree first. There are graduate and undergraduate business schools. I just figured Ryan went to a liberal arts college for a year or so, dropped out, then started going to a business school.

North Korea Agrees to end Nuke Program

Do a Google search of the words "clinton sudan terrorists aspirin" and read some the articles that come up. You will see that Clinton was blamed for killing innocent people in his attempts to get bin Laden back in 1998. My favorite: http://www.salon.com/news/1998/09/23news.html This article seems grotesquely naive in today's world, but prior to 9/11 killing bin Laden didn't seem like it was really that important to Clinton's critics, who bitched non-stop about how innocent people were killed by this US attack on terrorist targets. -
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/10/20/gop.ad/index.html Instead of whining, the Democrats just need to make an ad that's a 30-second loop of the 2003 clip of Bush saying he wasn't concerned with bin Laden. I swear, just like in 2004, the Democrats are holding back so much its like they WANT to loose or something.

They're lying assholes that get absolute control over a third of your income and a say in whether you live or die. If you consider that childish bullshit, then maybe you shouldn't be voting. Every one of them says "CUT TAXES! KEEP THE YOUNG PEOPLE HERE!". They all lie. They're all self-serving bastards that only care about putting themselves over in any situation, even emergency situations. I don't see any Democrats yelling about cutting taxes, and I don't see many Republicans yelling about keeping "young people here." There are strong distinctions between parties and candidates that you seem to be completely unaware of. The argument that both parties are the same is just an excuse to not be informed. And there are many, many examples of politicians in recent years keeping their promises. Bush (for better or worse) has pretty much done most of what he promised during the 2000 campaign.

Barbara Boxer's only crimes seem to be she drives a big car, wrote a bad book, and fumble a sentence. Frist, by contrast, is a medical doctor who claimed he could diagnose a woman as based on what he saw on a video tape. So I guess they needed another Democrat.

In Missouri, the Senate campaign has been about stem cell research, nursing homes, and medicare spending. I can't recall one ad mentioning Bush.

Kind of what I've been thinking since the Tim Meadows episode, and reinforced by the convention episode a few weeks back.

I've been waiting for this comparison... credit: http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/10/18/con...poll/index.html The 1994 election was the first time I'd ever voted, and it was back when I was a Republican. The mood surrounding this election is remarkably similar. At that time the Democrats were running scared politically from the Clinton health care plan and Congressional scandals. 34 incumbents in the House (including the Speaker) and 2 incumbents in the Senate lost their seats. This was followed by several members in each house switching parties from Democrat to Republican. Now, the Republicans are dealing with the politcal hot potato of Iraq and their own Congressional scandals. Of course, the flip side of that was that Clinton was able to pull his side together and emerge victorious in the next presidential election because the new Republican leaders overplayed their hand and public opinion shifted against them (though not enough for them to loose power).

^That's a great sig.^ Can we start with this issue and by having you tell us where you got your Bill Clinton facts? Its one thing for us to disagree because we have different opinions on when its okay for the U.S. government to blow people up, its another for us to disagree because we believe different facts are true. Here is an article you should read, if you have not already: http://factcheck.org/article444.html -
If that includes resigning, I'm all for it. No one in public service should be getting cash gifts for anything. Why the hell does this man feel the need to give government employees cash bonuses?

You need to do more than "feel" something is right. You need to be able to back it up. For example... Both facts and reason are presented in this post. I don't agree with the conclusion, but I respect how you presented your rationale in a way that took those things into consideration before stating it. -

There's been a rumor I think already addressed that Hillary might run for Senate Dem. Leader. This story I'm sure will only add fuel to the fire. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/10/17/rei...l.ap/index.html

Oh, you should see the attack ads the guy has. They make you want to vote for his opponent. Some of the 527 ads for Jim Talent accuse McCaskill of being responcible for rapes at nursing homes. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/10/16/foley/index.html

You forgot to quote me. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that if you cited our entire conversation in his post, it would be much easier for people to see that you started this conservation by defending Bush and attacking Clinton, thus undermining your assertion that you're not on a side. You picked a side. I didn't pick it for you. This isn't the first time you and I have locked horns over politics. You always take the conservative side, and I always take the liberal side. We have a history of arguing that I'm drawing from to base this conclusion on. I'll say it again, since you missed it the first fifteen times I said it: The investigation that showed that Al Quaeda was responcible for the USS Cole bombing wasn't complete until after Clinton left office. OMG CONSPIRACY~!!!!1111 Okay, I'm going to have to ask for a source, though. I'd also like an explanation as to how the President of the United States would give weapons to a Detroit based company (which you cannot name) or how he has any control over what this "company" did with the "technology" or "weapons" once they got it. The story is probably bullshit because there are too many holes in it. Yeah, you better get a source on that one, too. That doesn't sound like the sort of thing that would be public knowledge even if it were true. Fine, then. Coulter, Drudge, Malkin, Cal Thomas, take your pick. I don't care. But given how some of your criticism mimmicks the right-wing hack establishment so precisely, I doubt you came up with all of your views on your own. Quit trying to pretend like you're some independent thinker who only came to these conclusions after he got his information from actual news sources. -
Pam may also be afraid that people (including herself perhaps) would think she was leaving Roy for Jim. If the relationship with Roy was in good shape, she'd have never gotten so close to Jim (or develop feelings for him) in the first place. Jim may have been the catalyst for her break-up with Roy, but he wasn't the entire cause.

I'm sure he cares about his film bombing while he bones Jessica Simpson. Given his popularity with college girls, I'm sure he gets laid enough that he probably is more worried about his movie career.

2 rules for the internet: 1) Assume everyone's a fat, ugly dude until you've met them in person. 2) Probably not a good idea to meet people from the internet in person, either.
