Edwards simply shouldn't have been on the 2004 ticket. There was nothing he could have added (or did add, for that matter) that a dozen more qualified and/or electable people couldn't have done. Even though Dick Cheney's bitch-slapping of him at the VP debate was based on the lie that the two had never met, Edwards should have called him on it instead of just sitting there looking shocked.

The main difference between Hitler and Stalin is that Hitler took his show on the road.

They weren't screwed. They got "layed".

So is the plan for this thread to pretty much cycle through and bash all of the possible candidates one by one? If so, I'm in.

I'm still waiting for Steve Hitler to debut on Raw. Damn, that was a great idea. -

Has anyone ever held the WWE, WCW, and ECW championships? -
Have these people looked at their own programming schedule lately?

It probably kills Vince enough to have "Wrestling" in the title once, let alone two times. World Wide Entertainment Company Wrestling. -

Or WWECW. -
Kerry was taller.

To clear up something from earlier...Kerry got the 2004 nomination because he was seen as the safe choice. By taking safe, ambiguous, low-profile positions, Kerry was able to look like an experienced and knowledgable moderate. Also, the last page or so of arguing is pretty moot considering there's no way Biden will be the nominee. He's smart to start early and try to build up some name recognition, but I don't see any faction within the Democratic Party that would be willing to make Biden their standard bearer. Here's how I see it...Feingold gets the idealists, Hillary gets the women (if she runs), and moderates will probably back Bayh or Warner. There's your fucking primary campaign right there.

JLU Season 3 starts September 17th

Timm and Company really trash Season 1 on the Season 2 commentaries and interviews. -
I always liked Transformers slightly more than G.I. Joe, but it was cool that they were both out at the same time. Hasbro fucking owned my ass from 1984-86. Fortunately "Star Trek: the Next Generation" debuted right after the 2 shows evaporated. Funny how whenever one thing I liked as a kid went away, something new popped up at just the right time for me to enjoy. Basically: Star Wars -> GI Joe/Tranformers -> Star Trek: TNG/DS9 -> Buffy/Angel -> Wrestling -> Battlestar Galactica. Voltron, Thundercats, Batman, X-Files, Highlander, and Farscape all fit in there somewhere, but the above 6 eras above were the biggest geek-fests for me.

I think its a pretty safe bet to say that Brainiac will be a villian in the next Superman. I really can't see them trying to shoe-horn comic stories in as movie plots.

Maybe Routh should have jumped on Oprah's couch.

You mean he wasn't booed out of the building? "Hate me because I want to have sexual intercourse with the attractive woman." Yeah, that's heel heat personified right there.

I knew you guys would find a way to spin a movie making $84 million in 5 days as a negative.

For the record, I can understand why there are concerns why this plot development might cast doubts on the quality of future movies, but I thought this movie worked fine. It was a great continuation of what was started 25 years ago...a hundred times moreso than the Ricard Pryor comedy or the pathetic "Quest for Peace."
