I never read Hitman, so there's gotta be some other source that used it as well...

Yeah, Sam Elliot was perfect. I hated Nolte, though.

I suggest you work on your own writing skills before criticizing others' reading skills.

Thank you. People who think that the Hulk character is just supposed to be about a big green guy tearing shit up, well, you have absolutel NO understanding of the character. In the short view it's a modern take on Jekyll and Hyde, in the longer it's a commentary on the eternal struggle between the id and the ego / superego, the fight between man and his darker, more violent urges. There's no harm in exploring that. Any Hulk film that didn't wouldn't be worth watching. Fuck, even the old television show explored that. There's exploring it, then there's allowing it to so totally take the movie over to the point where Hulk is a secondary character in his own movie. This wasn't a movie about the Hulk. This was a movie about Banner's dad. Criticisms that the relationship between Betty and Bruce was handled poorly are also valid. In the original comics, they weren't a bickering, recently broken-up couple. I'd also have preferred if the movie had more characters who were sympathetic to Banner's plight. Rick Jones should have been a character in the movie. The cinematic stylistic choices are also suspect. The use of divided panels only worked in one or two scenes, and the scene where Talbot got killed looked simply ridicules.

    It's quiet these days.

I could get into another flame war for you, but I'm currently targetting all of my hatred toward people I actually know.

    The MikeSC?

Whatever the point of posting this pic has been lost on me. Not because the picture isn't probably symbolic of some really good point, but because I find her incredibly hot and don't care to redirect my mind away from the dirty thoughts I'm having.
  12. I beg to differ. I care. I care so much I demand photgraphic or video evidence of this act!
  13. If you can't decide on one person, then what's the point of getting married? **Waits to see how that argument can be twisted into an anti-gay marriage argument.**

Canadians should more to welcome Islamic community

Yeah? This still does not justify the invasion. The US attacked Afghanistan, not the other way around. Look familiar?
  16. It is not hypocritical because polygamy and same-sex marriage are not the same things. The difference between same-sex marriage and polygamy is that same-sex marriage is only asking for a change of who that one individual person you can be married can be. If someone was arguing for the legalization of polygamy, they'd be asking the government to expand marriage benefits from an individual to a group. Gay marriage advocates agree that a person should be able to pick out one special person to share a legal bond with, just that it shouldn't be limited to people of the opposite sex.

    Zarqawi's dead!

I know! How dare they kill this peaceful, hard working, and loving family man! Huh? What's that you say? He devised plans that lead to the gruesome and heartless deaths of hundreds (perhaps thousands in the end) of people? Oh...well he's still human and doesn't deserve that regardless! </People like Curry> Yeah, I think he missed the point. However, Hacksaw Deon Duggan isn't really doing anyone any favors here. Anyway, it's gonna take a lot more than some Zucchini guy to impress Al Franken, I can tell you that much right now. I think Curry is just disputing whether or not the average American had any good reason to want this guy dead, since America invaded his country and not the other way around. My answer to that would be that, while our reasons for overthrowing Saddam Hussein's regime are suspect, that doesn't give Zarqawi the right to murder innocent people. The insurgents are trying to impose their will on a democratically elected Iraqi government through the use of fear and violence. Maybe instead of blowing up cars and beheading people, they should try to work within the new system - a system which gives them more of a say in the government than they've had at any time in their lives. As much as I disagree with the decision to go to war in the first place, the insurgents are not innocent Iraqi freedom fighters. They are a minority of extremists that would rather kill than cooperate with a government their own people elected.

    Ann Coulter attacks 9/11 widows

There's something I'd like to point out. Has anyone actually ever heard Ann Coulter quote the Bible? I know I haven't.

Was the fake fast-food franchise "Big Belly Burger" a running gag in JLI, or some other comic? The name rings a bell.

And the kid was kind of a crackpot, but trying to personally shame him isn't nearly as effective as systematically disecting his ridicules conspiracy theory. That's not the same as what the women who Coulter is messing with are doing, though.

Although my opinion on this is fairly well known, must we discuss her looks? It really has nothing to do with her complete lack of class, responsibility, and intellectual honesty. He had it coming. He sounded like CheesalaIsGood. I think he talked some shit about O'Reilly first, which got him rattled. O'Reilly is a hack, but you kinda expect him to get offended when someone calls him a war-mongering jerk with no credibility. He's not some NPR liberal who is gonna go "well it's very interesting that you feel that way" in a smooth dickish voice. What position is Bill O'Reilly in to say what Jeremy Glick's mother or deceased father would have of thought of Jeremy's views? I'm not a supporter of this guy's conclusions, but it is intellectually dishonest to assume noy only that you know what his family thinks, but to use it as a weapon in a discussion that could've been easily discussed in a calm, factual manner instead of the escalating name-calling that O'Reilly relies on to entertain his viewers.
  22. Our nation may have been founded by the descendants of colonists fleeing religious persecution, but our national government and system of laws were built more on the ideas of the Greeks and the Romans than anything in the Bible. Those things which we hold dear that have the force of law behind them are based on something other than Biblical inspiration. While homosexuals aren't the victims of widescale, institutionalized economic subjugation that African-Americans have been, all the other ugly symptoms of mass bigotry are there.
