Yeah. Katie Holmes is better than Penelope Cruz. Right. Yea, she is. You're so odd. But maybe there's hope for you. -

Given the volume of comments about Dawson's Creek, I'd say a thread might be warranted.

I have a friend that used to use the statement "I'd eat her afterbirth" as a way of commenting on how he thought a girl was super-extra hot. -
Given the flaming turb that was All-Star Batman & Robin, this book was a pleasant surprise. Well paced storytelling, character-driven artwork, and a good hook that makes you want to read the next issue. Definitely worth reading.

That's been shot down the 1st time he appeared on TV. It's not him. "News" reports at the time said he was just some random actor/model they hired just for this angle.

I only read White's book on the 1968 campaign. How is the 1960 book superior?

Movies that everyone loves that you cannot get the love for
SuperJerk replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in Television & Film
I'd hate to think that before 2 years ago you had no way of deciding who to be friends with. pretty sure that may have been dependant on caddyshack. Fair enough. -
How about a Brownback VP? We could have him and Bill Frist both...then we'll get something done around here. Dude...I just ate....

Ha ha! Bodily fluids! It;s pretty funny. Best part is when everyone is drinking dog semen(roofle), you hear this small, effeminate voice in the background: "I think I've had this before!" True, but you can't diss the scene with Taj & Naomi. Not because it was actually funny, but because Naomi looked awesome. -

There's a rumor going around that "Supergirl and the Legion" is being nixed in favor of a "Superboy" cartoon. http://www.legionclubhouse.com/index.php?o...id=108&Itemid=2 -
Then why don't you explain what it was really about (such as was done in The Superstar's post)? The dude was just giving his opinion of what he thought of the movie and was asking for people to voice their own opnions. Since you disagree, how about taking the time to explain WHY you disagree before resorting to insults?

Sounds like DC needs to have Alex Luthor hatch a scheme to sort out their publishing schedule.

Well... That and the fact that super-hero registration/govt control of super-heroes (especially mutants) has been a running theme at Marvel since the 1960s. Sentinels in particular have been around since 1965, mutant registration was used in both "Days of Future Past" and 1987's "Fall of the Mutants". The government has been trying to control the Avengers since the 1970s (see also the 1980s Capt. America storyline when the Commision on Super-human Activities forced him to resign). The idea that the govt would want heroes to register is probably a natural conclusion to something that's been floating around for 40 years. Marvel propaganda aside, because there's nothing in either storyline that substantially links the idea of Civil War to House of M, the behind Civil War seems like it was just tacked on to House of M to make it seem like Marvel was doing something to compete with the scope and scale of Infinite Crisis.

I'm glad to see there's a group of voters that cares more about whether or not the flag gets burned than how incompetent the executive branch has become in the last 5 years.

They're only considered contractors for tax and travel expense purposes. They're called independant contractors when it's convinient, like when people talk about them getting health care and such, but when they want to enforce the dress code, well, that's a differant story, they're WWE "Superstars"(because God forbid we call them wrestlers) and of course, whether or not RVD is in a dress shirt or whatever the rules are, I don't remember, really reflects on the company and nothing like Vince trying to have Marty Janetty kiss his behind impacts what people think of wrestling</sarcasm> No argument here.
