I'm thinking about buying this one. http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/147195...ication.do#tabs On the plus side it has 1024MB of DDR memory and 1.8GHz processor. That gave me a knee jerk reaction to buy it, until I found out most other laptops are using DDR2 (albeit, only 512 MB). Can anyone explain one's better than the other (other than the obvious 1024 > 512)?

I know Jason Todd's been back for some time, but since I haven't read Batman in quite a while an explanation for the resurrection would be highly appreciated. Wait...if it was never supposed to have happened and now it never did happen, then why does he not only remember it happening but so does everyone else? @#$^# retcons.

I was basing this on some of the spoiler reports I've read. Don't be a dick about it.

I'm not sure if you're arguing against gerrymandering or this silly "I only want to vote for someone just like me" mentality we seem to have in this country.

QFE. Cannot stress that one enough. The stock that people put into fucking AL FRANKEN's comments never fails to astound me. "so-and-so's a big fat liar...Al Franken said so! There's no liberal media bias, Al Franken said there's regular media and conservative media!" Since when did Stuart Smalley become the sole arbiter of journalistic integrity? Geez. We live in a world were Bill O' Reilly is treated with respect by people who know nothing about journalistic integrity. Of course Al "I'm Smarter Than You Because People Say I'm a Political Satirist Even Though I'm just a Stupid Ass Pundit" Franken is going to be treated like the be all end all politcal genius of our times by people who wouldn't know an original opinion if it bit them in the ass. You left out the part where he got a degree in government from Harvard. That doesn't make him automatically right about everything, of course, but you guys are acting like he's just some schmuck who used to be on SNL. People tend to either be ignorant of or ignore the fact that he has the credentials to back his opinions up. Just because he used to be a writer/performer for Saturday Night Live doesn't invalidate his educational background, which is considerable. I wouldn't discount Franken's assessment of O'Reilly and others simply because he has documentation to back his opinions up with, regardless of where he went to school.

Someone needs to tell her there's a conspiracy to remove every member of Congress from office. They're called elections. I just hope her opponent is smart enough to capitalize on her opinion of security procedures, although (from the sounds of things) her constituents are not smart enough to not re-elect her. Anyone this thick-headed about the need for tight security in Washington D.C. as she seems to be really has no business having a say in national policy.

I'd like to get something to replace my PC, since its 3 years old and crashes all the time. I already made my house wireless, so I thought it wouldn't be a bad thing to be mobile (plus I can bring it to work if I need to).

I gotta hand it to the Republicans for distancing themselves from this guy. With him out of the way, the Democrats can focus on a much-better strategy than running against Delay: Running against Bush.

One excuse I heard on the radio this morning (I occasionally listen to Tom Joyner) was that since she's been in Congress for over a decade, the security people should've known who she was (unless you think all black people look alike because you're a racist). Even Tom thought that argument was weak.

A new Majority Leader was already been elected. I love the way he says he's only resigning to keep a "liberal Democrat" (as if such a thing even exists in Texas) from winning his seat.

That, my friend, is a fundamental disagreement of which I believe no amount of discussion will resolve. Human behavior can not be reduced to a mathematical equation, in my opinion.

Why does it have to be Cena? Cena has failed. In monumental fashion. MOVE ON TO THE NEXT GUY. There is no NEXT GUY, thanks to the person most of you fools were cheering for. Carlito, is probably the only guy left on Raw with any sense of charisma and ability to connect with a crowd that hasn't been buried by Trips. Carlito's win-loss record might be considered a burial by someone, though.

Not all entrepenuers are rich, but they are the ones creating the jobs. I'd argue that the creation of jobs is more important to the economy than the creation of wealth. Creation of wealth is meaningless if it doesn't get distributed. There are no perfect solutions in economics. Sometimes taxing people is good, sometimes its bad. Sometimes spending is good, sometimes its bad. Neither the Keynesians or the libertarian/supply-siders have been able to deliver us into economic Utopia. Free markets can be awesome things when you have a well-educated group of entrepenuers making rational decisions, but that doesn't always happen, so you need some regulation. And government decisions about economic policy can lead to a multitude of unintended consequences. Policy makers need to be pragmatic and look at situations on a case-by-case basis, instead of trying to apply blanket economic theories that never work all the time.

It must suck to be Chavo Guerrero. Not only did the crowd no-sell him at the Hall of Fame ceremony, but he's also now .

Trivia Questions (because I actually want to know): Which incoming world champions have retained titles at a WM? The ones I can think of are: Hogan Yokozuna (technically, since he retained against Lugar) Diesel HHH Eddie Guerrero John Cena Am I missing anybody?
-
I didn't care if either one of them went over, and that was part of the reason I didn't order the PPV. I didn't care. However, from a booking standpoint, they really need to get the title off of Cena, or turn him heel. Or at least acknowledge that everyone hates him. Having J.R. try to explain it and still keeping him as a face is embarrasing.
-
This main event should've been called the Kobayashi Maru, for it truly was a no-win scenario.
-
Whu????
-
Hunter should have won. This Cena run is a disaster HHH will win the title back in 4 weeks...seeing him tap out clean to Cena of all people at WM when no one expecting that Cena would win, much less get him to tap out..makes it better...I suppose. Anyone still want screencaps? Absolutely.
-
Not that I wanted HHH to win, but this company is run by trained monkeys.

Someone needs to hire a HITMAN to take him out.
