Holla Back Girl sounds like it was recorded using a Fisher Price keyboard by a kid writing a song for the elementary school talent show. Then, mix in non-sensical lyrics where a woman in her mid-30s is RAPPING ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL and spelling the name of a piece of fruit. Any of you fuckers that like this song will look back a year from now and want to kick your own ass for liking it.

Sounds like that old 3rd world country trick where the dictator throws as many names Western government styles into the official title of the nation when their really just a dictatorship.

I know I can't be alone in my disappointment that there hasn't been any wrestling-related content on the main page in a month. Yeah, I know the product generally sucks right now, and you guys who write for the board have lives outside of typing up free articles for the unpaying masses, but surely there's something we can do about this. I'm one of those guys that found this site because of Dames and Dr. Tom's various reports were being posted on other sites, and I used them to find my way here. Later, JHawk's weekly recaps kept me coming back, Truitt's shoot recaps were fantastic, and Spoon's TE3 material was comedic gold. Hell, I still remember reading Razor's Heat recaps (including the parody where Shiavone become a WWE announcer) during Raven's run on that show. Maybe its time to find some new writers for the main page? I mean, don't get me wrong, I appreciate Flagg letting me know where to get cheap DVDs at, but I wish there was more. And not just wrestling stuff, either. Bob Barron's SNL recaps wouldn't be too out of place up there, would they? Or even HTQ's blog entries as a regular column? Surely there's plenty of folks here who'd be willing to pick up the slack if asked. Thanks for listening.

On a different note, I've seen it mentioned in at least 3 or 4 different sources that the ruling was 139 pages long. That seems like an accomplishment until you realize they used 2 inch margins and size 16 font.

Of course, this ruling won't stop people with a 3rd grader's understanding of science from claiming our liberal courts are trying to outlaw belief in God. I honestly don't see how anyone can say that the idea that the entire human race is the result of brothers and sisters having babies together 6000 years ago is somehow more credible than species changing slowly over time into new species.

Because 99% of the fans watching wanted Taker to win? Why would anyone want Orton to win? Why would anyone watching from a kayfabe perspective expect Orton to win? Seriously? Unless you're a girl or a homosexual who likes Randy Orton's supposed pretty face why would you cheer for Orton to win? The only reason a "fan" would want Orton to win is because they're "smart" and think it's a good idea to push Orton because that's what the WWE is reportably going to do. And really that's stupid too becasue as we all know the WWE's booking is pretty horrible right now. Everyone agrees on that but yet the smark population as a whole generally wants Orton to win???? We're all sudden believers of the WWE booking system? We all believe Orton is the #1 wrestler to go to?? Why this sudden 180 degree turnaround? Let's face it. Even if Orton won last night the WWE would screw up his push. So even from that perspective there's no sense in having Orton win. Let Taker have his night. Let the fans be happy for once. If anyone was cheering for Orton last night out of smarkness than I must say I feel sorry for you as you have lost all perspective on what is to be a fan. Are you kidding? Heels need to win big matches in order to look like threats to the top babyfaces. Its not that anybody "wants" Orton to win, but given that he's the chosen one to be the top heel, it doesn't make any sense to job him out to anyone but the top face. Otherwise, the babyfasces win 100% of the time, and the product gets really boring really fast. Now, if you want to argue that Orton shouldn't be the top heel, then you've got a good point and I wouldn't argue with you. However, since Orton IS the top heel, it doesn't make sense to job him out, and the question of why he was jobbed out when he's alledgedly being built up as the top contender and a legit threat to Batista is a good one worth asking. It has nothing to do with "wanting" someone to win, and everything to do with trying to understand why things were done from a perspective of building up to a strong WM card.
