<---Shows up 4 hours late. What if all of Randy Orton's marks moved to Las Vegas and stole a nuclear missile? The Standy Orton.
-
At no point did you explain why its offensive. I mean, you do realize Cena is white, don't you? I just don't see how one white guy calling another white guy a "nigga" as a compliment is offensive. Were you offended because you thought someone might think Vince was telling us Cena is really black? Or, as a black person, you don't want to be associated with John Cena? I really need an explanation other than "it was offensive because I say so".

Isn't this like the third year in a row "the plan" was for Orton to main event Wrestlemania?
-
Shut your mouth! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But I was talkin' 'bout Flair!
-
He doesn't have to be in a program with anyone to turn heel. Just have him cut a "Rocky sucks" promo on the crowd.
-
Quick survey: Anybody else want to see a HHH/Big Show feud? I have to admit I'm kinda looking forward to it.
-
Actually, I'll take HHH as WWE Champion right now over Cena. I don't know if that's blashphemy or not. Depends on who you hate more. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay...let's not get crazy now...

This has not been a good year for the Republicans.

Sometime during the WCW/ECW Invasion <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I remember Show had on these big, baggy grey sweat pants--he grabbed it and was screaming "WHAT THE HELL?!" ....and the stain was green. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm thinking it was in the post-Invasion "Kiss My Ass Club" era William Regal.

My gripe about RENT was over the pretenciousness of the advertising. Since I've never seen it, I couldn't tell you if it was better that Chicago. It does, however, have a number of things working against it: -Its set in the year 1990. I hated that year, as it did suck whole-heartedly. -"No day but today" is just a retarded slogan. Period. -Here in 2005, AIDS isn't considered the threat to western civilization and the end of life on Earth that is was back in the late 80s/early 90s, so the films relevance is pretty low. You do realize "Chicago" was satire, right? Given the heights that sensationalism in journalism has reached lately, if viewed as social parody, "Chicago" is far more relevant comment on modern society than the more-contemporary "Rent".

I'll say it. Ric Flair's a bad motherfucker.

Did seem odd.

Match by match coverage from teh Meltz.
-
The match in 2003 wasn't the main event, but your point is still valid.
-
1991 - Taker beat Hogan 1994 - Backlund beat Hart Both matches were 3rd on the card (out of five). Although, this was back in the day when the WWE just HAD to end PPV's with a face on top to "send the fans home happy" so, at least for me, it was easy to predict that the face champs were losing on those Survivor Series cards. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And Show beat Lesnar in 2002 (although there was another World Title match on the card), but I never said the card placement was a 100% guarantee, just that it was a clue.
-
The low placement of the match on the card should've been our first clue the title wasn't switching. Plus, there aren't enough main event faces for them to put the belt on a heel right now. And I'd say its time to end the feud with Angle, since they've been feuding since the night after Summerslam and Cena finally got a pin on Angle. The next two main event feuds will probably be Cena vs. Edge and then Cena vs. HHH. Not what I would do, but probably their plan none the less.
-
Since Flair will probably be off of TV to sell the injuries, they should vacate the IC title and have a tournament for it.
-
Was last year's main event the heels vs. faces for control of the show while Bischoff was on vacation? I disagree on the grounds I can't even remember Triple H being in that match.
-
I guess, then, I should be able to RENT La Bohéme.
-
Did they make a movie out of it?
-
7 matches on separate dates, with the person winning 4 becoming the new US champion. And the letter "OAO" so don't apply to this thread.
-
I'd be willing to bet the words "card subject to change" appear somewhere in the ad.
-
Do they actually say that in the movie, or are you supposed to already know that coming in?
-
THAT ad made we want to see it even less. Hey, when's this movie set anyways (is a specific year/decade given)? Or are we just supposed to assume its the present?
