I wasn't impressed with this episode at all, but it left enough still lying there for me to want to tune in next week.

That's a lot of fucking candles. I'd mark if he fucks Lana, but it turns him evil.

Words to live by.

I actually knew that part...I should've said why is she STILL on the show? I figured she'd leave after Chloe was found alive (or whatever happened).
-
So why is Lois on the show now?
-
Where *is* Pete anyways?
-
Okay...so I haven't really watched Smallville since the second season...are they supposed to be in college now?
-
Why is it everytime I see a commerical for something on WB, I feel like I'm watching a commerical for either "Felicity" or "Dawson's Creek"? edit: Or "Angel".

"I heard stories about you in Belle Reve...including your name and address..."

Wait...since when does Chloe have cleavage? (Nice outfit.)
-
Wait a second here... ...the Vice President has an office at the White House?
-
Wasn't she in Starship Troopers?

Yeah, I just remember Nicholas Cage starred in an episode of SNL where he and Julia Sweeny were expecting a baby, and Cage shot down every possible baby name because of various ways kids could make fun of the name. Oh, sweet merciful fucking irony.

For the anal Trekkie that absolutely must have special editions of every film. And seriously, what the fuck could Rick Berman possibly have to say? "I'm sorry"?
-
I'm naming my kid Sydney if its a girl, and Owen if its a boy. I'm worried kids will make fun of a kid with the initials "O. K." though.

You so lost me.

Newt Gingrich? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, he said "well-spoken".

But he didn't say that getting rid of blacks would hypothetically end all crime, just make the crime rate drop. And that wasn't even his point either, he was just repeating a theory someone else had proposed and saying it was inhumane and immoral to abort babies just to lower the crime rate. Mathematically, if you take the amount of the crime that blacks commit, and eliminated it altogether, you end up with a lower crime rate.

Immediately coming to mind are Dusty Rhodes and Eric Bischoff. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ...that's a train wreck waiting to happen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Trainwrecks can be fun to watch. -
Hey, if you want to have an argument about the amount of crime committed by blacks, then let's have the argument. Don't condemn him just for bringing the subject up.

So, you're saying that if Wonder Woman is a hit, Whedon WON'T be a cult favorite director and TV producer turned big budget super-hero hit filmmaker (just like Raimi)? The comparison is valid.

I don't think Guiliani has nearly as much personal baggage as our last president. He had an extramarital affair. Big deal. He also is known as the guy who cleaned up New York City, and held the city together after 9/11. That trumps anything you could say about his personal life.

Bennett never said nor implied black people are responsible for all of the crime in this country. The reason I'm willing to defend him and give him the benefit of the doubt is that nothing he has done or said in his career until now could ever possibly be construed as racist. I don't agree with his desire to intermingle government and religion, but Bennett's heart is in the right place. Here's a man who genuinely wants to help people, but is caught in a controversy because people are too scared to be honest about the state of black America. I don't agree with the mindset that says that bringing race into an equation automatically makes you a racist.

The Austin segment could've been shorter, but I'm sure the majority of the fanbase ate it up.
