So far the average match length is less than 8 minutes. $35 folks.
-
They'd only do it so he could loose it to HHH, then have HHH hold it until WM where he'll defend it against Cena.
-
Yes. They actually hoisted Dominique over the ring, and Rey carried him down with the ladder. Dominique turned on Rey and told him he wanted to be Eddie's son because we'd have a better chance of growing up to be a normal height. Eddie then drove off with Dominique in his lowrider, which was equipped with a WWE custom car-seat (now for sale at wwe.com).

Matt was busted open and Edge was kicking him in the head real hard so the ref stopped it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So no contest or Edge wins via ref's decision? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just sent you a PM.

I guess Hogan/HBK is going to last an hour. So glad I'm just reading the recaps and didn't pay the $35 for this. Then again, maybe we'll get that Edge vs. Batista match we were talking about earlier. **gets his hopes up**

Wow...I can't believe what should've been a $$$ match is the second on the card.
-
There's a hidden message in that match that they now realize how bad they fucked up GAB.
-
I think DC usually uses real cities anymore, unless its a hero's home city established in the Gold or Silver Age.
-
We're lucky to get 42 minutes of actual show per hour these days.
-
Unless he wins it back the very next night on Raw. I find it somehow disturbing Cena has had one of the longest WWE title reigns since Deisel. While only half of JBL's, its pretty damn long compared to any other WWE champion over the last decade.

Who the hell is Sean Hannity, a question asked by the uneducated with their fingers far from the pulse of the community. Did I get that right? I think I'm pretty close. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a quote (minus the Sean Hannity for Leonardo Leanardo) from Clerks: The Animated Series. Here's the quote, it might not be exactly right... Randal : As someone with their finger on the pulse of this community I ask you, who the hell is Leonardo Leonardo? Reporter: (on TV)Who the hell is Leonardo Leonardo? It is a question asked by the poorly educated, whose fingers lie far from the pulse of this little community. Randal Graves: You're poorly educated. Dante Hicks: You're talking... to the television. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The "Did I get that right" part is what threw me, since I didn't realize you'd moved from a joke to an actual question. You might try adding an extra space or parentheses next time. That, and the last 5 times I watched the "Clerks" cartoon I had the DVD commentary on (which is HILARIOUS), so I missed a lot of the jokes.

Sounds like what they tried to do with "Superman/Batman: Generation"...except good.

Superman #166 was okay with me. I liked Alan Moore's take on Krypton life in the issue where Supes and Mongul duked it out since it made them seem a little more human. You couldn't do that with Byrne's version of what Kryptonian life was like so the storyline possibilities were less varied. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The thing about that is, though, anything to be done with that version of Superman's origin was pretty much already done by the time Byrne came along. The thing I like most about Byrne's Krpton is that it actually seemed like a plausible alien world, instead of a 1930s science fiction writer's idea of what an alien culture might be like. Byrne's version, though, I've heard was nullified by Superman: Birthright. I have not read Superman: Birthright, but what changes were made to Superman's origin in that story?

My only reaction to this story was surprise that WON has a Hall of Fame.

"My Two Dads" > "Blossom"

I haven't paid attention to sales in years, so its weird seeing a non-X-Men title in the top Marvel spot. Of course, you COULD argue that its because New Avengers has Wolverine...but Ultimates does not, and it beat the regular X-Men titles also. Hmm...

Comics books you liked that are no longer printed

Peter David's Supergirl. It sucks that it was replaced by a shitty silver age retread. -
Not particularly. Its got a few really awesome lines and gags in it, but it completely falls apart 2/3 of the way into it, making way for the climax that manages to be a romantic comedy cliche while simultaneously making no sense whatsoever. I suspect the same people are seeing it over and over because the redhead was so fucking hot.

Yeah...the fact that Angle beat Hogan on PPV is just enough to keep me from completely hating Vince McMahon.
-
That's a good point, but consider 2 things: -HBK was last seen getting the best of Hogan on Raw, which in WWE logic means Hogan will win; -Vince his consistently let Hogan win for no reason in the past.

That'll be someone's username by the end of the month.

I'm not talking about it because I didn't see it. I'm boycotting Smackdown until I give a shit about anyone they're pushing.

Yikes. I guess the second line of the thread title should have been "to the buffet line". I mean her legs don't look too bad, but she's got more chins than the Chinese phone book.
