Given the shit nature of House of Bendis Masturbating While Typing and Bendis the shithead skullcunt, you expect any less? At least DC is TRYING to make it all rational unlike shithead skullcunt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I told the guy who owns the comic shop I frequent that I didn't want to by any House of M books because they take place outside of continuity and thus wouldn't matter much and were a waste of money. He asked me to write Joe Quesada a letter to that effect. My understanding, though, is that the House of M books are selling well. Thanks knee-jerk X-Men crossover buyers!

And THAT'S going in my user title.

Tricia Helfer plays the humanoid Cylon "Number 6". She's not a shapeshifter, but often appears as a mental projection inside Baltar's mind (where he often gets to have sex with her). The mini-series was 2 parts and aired in December of 2003, and is available on DVD and for rent at most video stores. In the US, the show airs Friday nights on the Sci-Fi Channel (10pm eastern/9pm central). The UK version of the first season is available on DVD through Best Buy, and a new DVD with both the mini-series and all 13 first season episodes will be released September 20.

HBK carried HHH in their Summerslam 2002 match since his return, and has done other carry jobs (the biggest that come to mind are RVD, Kane, and Randy Orton) since his return. Angle didn't carry Flair in that match at all, and unless you're directly comparing Angle/Flair to HBK/Flair, that's irrelevant. Angle/Flair had a good story and was fun to watch, but HBK has had far better matches than that since his 2002 return.

I've read the release date is Nov. 15th.

While I would never argue that the Supreme Court should be slaves to the will of the majority, I find it hypocritical that conservatives VEHEMENTLY argue that courts are too anti-democratic, but want the courts to do so many things that contradict the opinions of most people.

I'm resurrecting this thread because the new season is 4 episodes old and the shows still kicks ass. I know I can't be the only person watching (and loving) this show. We all have those idiot friends that we argue wth because we think they're always wrong (not unlike on the internet). I had an argument yesterday about this show with him. I think the reason we were probably arguing is because he has only seen the first part of the mini-series and none of the subsequent episodes, and hasn't watched an episode of the 1978 series since he was a kid. However, this didn't stop him from arguing that the original was a great show and this one strayed too far from the original. After 20 minutes of defending this show, I finally put it out there for him in clear terms: The old show was for kids, this one is for adults.

Drug sales support terrorism. Didn't anybody else see those commericals a few years ago?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed how lame the line was. It seemed like everyone wanted to give Shelton a free pass on that one because they feel sorry for him.

Benoit > HBK, but that doesn't mean HBK isn't awesome at it as well.
-
I don't know what you're talking about. HBK is a carry-job God.

I'm trying to remember the last time, besides Wrestlemania, they held off on a big match until a major PPV.

credit: http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/08/02/fri...l.ap/index.html "Justice Sunday II: God Save the United States and this Honorable Court!" sucks as title. I'd have gone with "Justice Sunday II: Electric Boogaloo" or "2 Justice 2 Sunday". If they wanted to be honest, they'd call it "Justice Sunday II: Claiming to Preserve Democratic Process by Packing the Courts with People Who Disagree with the Majority of Americans."

Giffen is now doing "Defenders" for Marvel. Any fan of JLI should pick this up.

I'd safe its a pretty safe bet they're saving HHH vs Cena for WM22 (for better or worse). Shawn/Cena would definitely give Cena a partner that could get him to the next level.
-
Didn't they just have a PPV match back in February? Oh, yeah, I forgot this is the company that runs HHH vs. Batista three times in one year.
-
True, but it isn't completely justifiable to claim that just because all the recent terrorism directed at mass transit was committed by one group, that will continue to be the case into the future. Also, racial profiling leaves a huge opening for middle eastern terrorists who can pass for white or some other group. I think that's the best reason not to do it.

If cheating means you automatically have a bad match, I guess I can throw my Ric Flair DVD away.

So I guess Eddie just gave his son to Rey without Rey even legally adopting him? Rey's wife just magically had a baby boy one day without her being pregnant? I can't believe they found a way to make this shit even stupider.
-
I don't see why being over or having a good gimmick are conditions for putting on a good match. Not being given enough time certainly is a facotr, but I don't get why you think the other two are necessary.

I don't know about that. Whenever I tried to sell people on watching "Firefly" I usually got a bizarre puzzled look and either "I don't like westerns" or "how come there's no aliens"? My favorite is when people actually try to argue the show isn't realistic because its set in the future, but they still use guns and the ships travel at sub-light speeds (as if phasers and warp drive could really exist). Apparently I need smarter friends.

If you didn't like this movie, at least acknowledge that's the reason you didn't like it was because you didn't find it funny, rather than making up some bullshit reason.

Thomas Haden Church cast as villain for Spider-Man

I don't understand why you put Venom on that list. -
Didn't Bischoff already hate Cena BEFORE that happened?
