The OAO Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Thread

He didn't get snippy for no reason! Charlie broke the rules! -
Except Piper kept asking him about WHY he did it, not HOW he did it. Piper should be on HBK's side on this.
-
This is never going to go away, is it?
-
Speaking of that... I'm not sure I comprehend the kayfabe logic that dictates that Piper should be upset with someone for attacking Hulk Hogan. The pair have been feuding for...what? 21 years?
-
Why else would have be in Orlando on Sunday? He's mentioned it like every commentarry including the one after RAW. Still like I reasoned there's no way it can happen....can it?! Dum, Dum, Dum! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Sensors are detecting large amounts of sarcasm, Captain."

Did Matt ever actually come right out and SAY he was going to be at the TNA PPV? I thought he was using code words to hint at it.
-
You're giving them WAY too much credit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, I'm using common sense by stating that WWE wouldn't keep the cameras rolling on Hardy unless they had absolute full knowledge of what would take place in this "shoot" angle. When people run on the field during sporting events, there is a reason that the cameras don't focus on them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When you said "All of it", I thought you meant the last 4 months worth of DRAMA~! we've been reading about. Of course everything we saw tonight was worked. I've even been saying the stuff he's been posting on his own site lately was worked (see my sig).

I'll watch for Victoria. I can't remember them bringing in female jobbers before.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Where were you in 1995? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In college losing my virginity. What happened in 1995?

We have a separate thread now. Please discuss Wonka/Charlie there. This thread is for discussing this past week's box office numbers.

A Streetcar Named Desire 1987?
-
Dude, you named like 3 tiny details that made almost no difference in the actual plot. Compare that to a movie like I, Robot that resembled the book in name only. edit: We need a separate thread for this discussion.

The One And Only Fantastic Four Thread...
SuperJerk replied to Jonathon's topic in Television & Film
FF seemed like a "PG" to me. STAR WARS Eps. 1 and 2 were both more violent than FF, and they were modern day PG movies. -
I'd say even the invasion of 1066 trumps this.

I can't honestly believe that they planned this whole thing out over 3 months ago. What PROBABLY happened was that management realized after the weeks and weeks of "we want Matt" chants that maybe the crowd actually wanted Matt. They did the titantron gag during the wedding segment as a trail balloon. Of course it got a monster pop, and THEN the decision was made to bring him back.

I was just trying to illustrate that not everything in life is a conspiracy. I can't honestly believe that they planned this whole thing out 3 months ago. What PROBABLY happened was that management realized after the weeks and weeks of "we want Matt" chant that maybe the crowd actually wanted Matt. They did the titantron gag during the wedding segment as a trail balloon. Of course it got a monster pop, and THEN the decision was made to bring him back.

You know what else was a work? The Vietnam War. It was just an angle to keep Russia out of the main event.
-
Funny, and here I thought they were trying to turn Cena into the next Stone Cold. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah and Orton was suppose to be the next Rock. Did Cena ever get taken away from the ring in handcuffs by police or backstage officials? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes.
-
Check this out... http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?act=idx (very bottom) Cool.
-
You KNOW it was a work because Kane and Snitsky were conveniently brawling in the crowd giving Matt the opportunity to do the run in. I'm not saying the firing 3 months ago was a work, just tonight.
-
Cause he caught him with a cheapshot instead of straight-up challenging him to a match. Compare to the setup for Rock/Hogan (WMX8): Rock asked Hogan point-blank for a match. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Except Piper was talking about WHY Shawn attacked Hogan, not HOW he attacked Hogan.
-
Nope. I'm not surprised at all.
