No. That's not it at all. That's pretty much the opposite of what every person on the production wanted. I thought if that's what they were trying to do they'd have used the Joker and just said "those other movies never happened". That is what they're doing. The Joker is going to be in the sequel with Two-Face in the third movie. I feel better now.

Again, I still don't see what's wrong with Batman running around in a dark bodysuit with a kevlar cape to protect him. As it stands now, Daredevil has had a far more faithful portrayl on the big screen than Batman has. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I won't see the movie because of the body armor, but I'd feel better about seeing it if he didn't. Body armor has never been part of the Batman mythos, and for them to include it when the only other time we saw him wear it was in some movies this one's supposed to have no connection too...it just makes me wonder if the films are really not supposed to tie together at all.

The "you are so beautiful" scene was a neccesary evil that was only to show them together in a happy moment before all the DRAMA~! about her dying went down. Considering how often married women try to trick their husbands into insulting them (i.e. "does this make me look fat" or "do you think my boobs are too small"), the scene was actually fairly realistic.
