Medved's on crack, as usual. I wouldn't classify acknowledging some mistakes that we've made to be anti-American at all. I own almost every original issue Medved is yammering about and he's completely missed the point of those stories. As usual, he's taken stuff out of context and completely omits the part where Cap denounces the terrorists and beats them in the end.

Benoit vs. Batista would be a good main event. We saw a little bit of this last summer in a match where Batista got himself disqualified after beating the tar out of Chris (I think just before Vengeance).

Is Windu/Anakin confirmed? I didnt think Anakin was going to have three duels in one movie. There is no actual Anakin/Windu match. Its actually the ending to Windu vs. Palpatine handi-cap match, with Anakin doing a run-in heel turn. I disagree, as it was a total carry-job by Vader. Luke was still pretty green, and they made the right move not letting him go over yet. Besides, Vader became totally lazy after his heel turn/gimmick change, and just did a lot of hardcore garbage spots. He ended it with a good promo, though. **cough**spotfest**cough**

I think most people realize that Falwell and Robertson don't represent the views of the average Christian. Unfortunately, that's not the way they present THEMSELVES. To hear them tell it, all Christians share their silly views.

Sadly, the article focuses more on the controversy over Farrakhan (who I'll agree is NUTS), than why he, Sharpton, and Jackson feel the need to have another march.

If I've bashed any Christians, it wasn't because they were Christians. It was because they said or did something bash-worthy. How does one bash Christians exactly? Is bad mouthing ANYONE who is a Christian constitute Christian bashing? Or does disagreeing with some people's interpretation of Christian teachings constitute Christian bashing? Or does making fun of a Christian claiming to have some special insight into the mind of God constitute Christian bashing? It would be helpful if you cited some examples of Christian bashing you have seen that relates to how Robertson has been used to do this.

Robertson doesn't have nearly the credibility he had 10 years ago. Still, its fun having him around because he and Falwell constantly tell us what the religious right REALLY thinks (and thus, provide a barometer for just how insane they are).

I read the article looking for some way that Robertson could get out of this on a loophole (such as saying he didn't mean it literally, and that it was only a metaphor ), or an indication that his comments were taken out of context, but he was pretty adamant that he meant exactly what it sounds like he meant. Robertson's kind of irrelevant though. I'm looking forward to the day that the religious right's new poster boy Dobson self-destructs.

Hurricane/Rosey just screams "transition champs", unfortunately. I'm hoping they get at least a month before they drop the straps. You could argue that HHH/Batista is being prolonged because of the huge buy rate for Wrestlemania, but plans for the Cell match were put into place before the buy rate was known. Thank goodness there's a draft coming up, or else there'd be no hope for fresh main event match-ups whatsoever.
