Good idea. I hope you're right.

One positive: the "Dirty Taker" clip looked like it used the same lighting and film stock as a movie released in the early 1970s. That's all I could think of.

Will the IC belt EVER get defended at Wrestlemania again? Its already been 3 years.

Mercy Drive comments on Randy Orton's theme song
SuperJerk replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
Makes me wonder how Finger Eleven got away with Kane's theme on the Punisher soundtrack... Cause they are just allowing the WWE to use it but they kept the rights to the song. Finger Eleven doesn't mind the WWE using it as long as they promote their new albums when they have one. I don't doubt your story, but it doesn't make any sense to me since the song is just an amped-up version of Kane's old entrance music (plus lyrics). Same way "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace is a reworked version of Benoit's old music. (I'd read part of their beef with WWE on that was that they didn't like the fact the theme album was called "Forceble Entry" and someone in the band got their panties in a bunch because they thought the WWE was condoning rape.) -
Well, I was sure wrong.

Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting

I care when it effects storylines. -
I think they're only doing parodies of movies that were actually somewhat good.

Look at side-by-side pcitures of her and Torrie Wilson and tell me if you still think Trish looks generic.
-
Yup...that picture makes me want to say Trish that much more.

There were very few actual "facts" in the Johnny Ace affair story, though. -
Trish is not only prettier than Stephanie, but she's also got a better body. I'd rather SEE Trish. Of course, since we haven't seen Stephanie in over 16 months, we have no idea how good of shape she's in. As for, who would SELL more Playboys? That's a tough one. Trish looks more like the type they generally feature (although her big pretty brown eyes make her somewhat unique), Stephanie's probably more famous outside of wrestling fans. Then again, sicne she's been off of TV for over a year, that'd probably handicap her enough to give Trish the advantage. I'm going to have to say Trish.

So why pick Matt Damon then? Two words: Jason Bourne. He was able to pull off that role fairly well, unlike his buddy Affleck who failed miserably in every similar situation. I see someone with more of an aloof worldliness quality playing Ozymandias, such as Jude Law. Matt Damon's got too much of a cunning streetfighter hero type for the part.

You know who I really think is overrated? The Kuberts. Their dad was awesome, but both Adam and Andy's work looks like a poor man's Marc Silvestri to me.

I'll second that. She's been with Matt for six years? I didn't even think that Lita had been with the company for 6 years. (Yeah, they knew each other from before, but they didn't start dating until she was in the WWF to the best of my knowledge.) -
There's more to being a pro-wrestler than technical ability, if that's what you meant.

Here's what I do to choose my seat: -Get a sections map of the venue you'll be attending (they have them on the Ticketmaster page). -Decide on the area you'd like to sit in. -Select which area you want (it'll give you choices like upper level, lower level, floor, etc.) -Keep requering for tickets until one closest to where you want to sit comes up. This works, because I was able to get on camera just about all night the last time Raw was in KC. Tip: You'll be more likely to get a good seat if you go by yourself.

I'm guessing that disc 1 will be the entire documentary (2-3 hours perhaps), and is it possible that disc 2 will be Survivor Series 1997 in its entirety? I already bought this when it was called "The Best of Confidential Volume 1".

Benoit might have been a more appropriately ironic choice. -
Nobody's perfect.

How much money do you think Ashlee Simpson made last year? How much does Demi Moore make per movie, despite a steady stream of box office bombs to her credit? There's people in Hollywood who's only job is to follow other people around all day (no ability to do), and they make a lot more than girl who works at a daycare center (takes some ability to do). Simply put, there are more things than just market forces and government regulation effecting wages. There's also human stupidity. A pure capitalist system would be a nightmare. That's why we no longer have one. I like the modified version we have now, with minimum wage laws, protections for workers, product regulation, and all kinds of things that cut profits but help the general public.
-
Brian and Edwin MacPhisto are knocking the rest of you guys out. I honestly can't beleive that the rest of you people are so stupid you can't understand that removing government references to God is not an endorsement of atheism. I'll state it AGAIN. I'm saying there are THREE ways a government could act. 1) It could be pro-religious and insist everyone beleive in God. 2) It could be anti-religious and insist that no one beleive in God. 3) It could be non-religious and not tell people anything about God. The first two are wrong, and the third one is right. You idiots keep insisting that the 2nd and 3rd are identical, which THEY ARE NOT.

Because that would create a massive wave of inflation. A $2 or even $1.10 would not. You can't see how the two are related? The more things cost, the less money is worth, thus the job is worth more money. You guys who are automatically opposed to any and all minimum wage hikes, or even the concept, have too much faith in market forces. Market forces do not always drive wages in the correct direction. Some people are overpaid (entertainers and atheletes), and some people are underpaid (cops and child care workers). The only thing Adam Smith's invisible hand does well is give poor people the finger.
