Smart people would just pre-order the dvd for $16.18 from the discount site. Smart people who don't mind waiting a month.

Check THIS out. http://money.cnn.com/2005/03/01/technology...dex.htm?cnn=yes Oooh...a senator from Alaska. Scary. He's also Chairman of the Commerce Committee and 3rd in line for the Presidency of the United States. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States...e_of_succession

Batista vs. Triple H will go on last, since that's the match they've been building to longer, and since Batista won the Rumble.
-
They took the US belt off of Cena? I was wondering when they'd get around to that. Stupid WWE Rule #8743: Can't have a guy with a title wrestling another guy with a title (rule implemented after Wrestlemania 6).

They raised it for last year, and I guess decided to keep the price despite this year's show being shorter.

We'll see. I realize this is an argument I can't win, since when Trish does beat Christy, you guys will just claim that they changed the plan after the title changed leaked. Thus, the only virtue my point of view has is that it makes sense. Which is entirely why I think it's wrong. Sorry. You can't try to accurately predict WWE booking by making sense. Regardless, it doesn't make any sense that the line on the cover would be referring to her winning a title during a match that hasn't even been announced yet rather than it referring to her winning a contest that actually used the word "Diva" in the title. I acknowledge that I'm never going to win this argument, despite my viewpoint being the simplest, most fitting with established facts, and most rational. That's simply not how arguments on the internet are won.

The real question is are people willing to pay $50 to see Batista kick Triple H's ass?

Trish's are definitely fake. Real breast have smooth curves, whereas Trish's curves are smooth, then are suddenly spherical.

I still think its going to be a 3 team TLC match. Why else would it have 6 guys in it? Does anyone really think the WWE would put six guys in a ladder match if it wasn't tag teams?
-
The line on the cover probably referred to her being the Diva Search Champion, because that's what she is. WWE never called her that. They used the word "winner" instead of "champion". Big deal. The two words mean virtually the same thing. Why would WWE put the cover on the air a full month before the match if that's what Playboy was referring to? Why would Playboy put that on the cover to be published 3 whole weeks before Wrestlemania (March 10th)? Why would WWE even share their title plans with Playboy? No, the cover was a reference to Christy winning the Diva Search, not being the Women's Champion.

Mike and the Bots should do wrestling commentary.

I think people lost their right to bitch the day TV shows got parental ratings and v-chips became standard issue in TVs.
-
My guess is they'll do a 3 team TLC match (Jericho plus 5 other guys). Possibly Jericho and Benoit vs. Edge and Xtian vs. Tajiri and Regal.
-
Michelle McCool deserved to win that No Way Out contest, by the way.
-
Wouldn't having Angle cost HBK the match not only give their fued more heat, but also protect Edge? I love a clean finish as much as the next guy, but the benefits outweigh the costs in this case. The line on the cover probably referred to her being the Diva Search Champion, because that's what she is.

Makes you appreciate Trish that much more, doesn't it?
-
I agree. Chris Jericho and Triple H main evented Wrestlemania X8 (plus it had a much longer build-up), even if Hogan/Rock is what drew the fans (and is what people remember).

You're actually a bit farther along then I am. I just checked it out on Saturaday and haven't had a chance to really sit down with it yet. The book did cause quite an uproar over its athenticity when it first came out.

Whedon & Cassaday on Astonshing for another year
SuperJerk replied to starvenger's topic in Literature
I didn't read most of Morrison's run...besides Magneto being under the influence of whatever it was (the alien intelligence thing from West Coast Avengers), what have they done. I have to admit I'm happy with the way they've kept the White Queen/Cyclops dynamic. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
SuperJerk replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
One thing I never noticed before watching the season 5 DVDs how nice a body Mercedes McNab has. -
Oh, bite me. I never said the Industrial Revolution wasn't important. I was complaining about the number of curriculum standards devoted to that one subtopic while other things get ignored. I had to spend four weeks teaching the Industrial Revolution last year because there were about 10 curriculum standards devoted to it (i.e. how did it individually effect every single group of people who ever lived while it was still going on), while the Reformation got about two, and the school year ended before we even finished WW2. We have tons of things we're supposed to cover, but as long as we're spending weeks and weeks on details of a few things, we're not covering a broad enough range of events so students get a fuller view of history. The World Wars' causes and impact, the Great Depression, the Renaissance, the Reformation, the rise of Nationalism in the 18th century, the Age of Exploration, colonialism and imperialism...the list goes on and on...ALL OF IT IS IMPORTANT. But we're still expected to exhaust every topic in minute detail? edit: And don't even pretend we know who the hell the exceptionally hot chick in your sig is, either.

http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/02/19/submarine...d.ap/index.html For those of you who don't know, Carter was a WWII-era Navy vet who helped Admiral Hyman Rickover develop the Navy's nuclear program after the war was over. Therefore, I find this commisioning fitting.
