This place just died. You'd think there was a suspense-filled play-off game going on or something.

I'd want to be a manager. I'd get more heat than a charcoal up the Human Torch's ass.

I'm guessing it was scrapped when someone thought of the superior idea to let fans decide the matches. Apparently, the superior idea of letting the fans decide the matches was then scrapped in favor of Taboo Tuesday's actual format.

This week's Observer is gold.

I hope you didn't pay full price for it. I was, but rented it first I can't really talk. I bought RAW2 the day it came out. That DID have Booker and Flair's themes, BTW. -
*Pepsi sprays out of nose.* That owns me hard. edit: Just sayin'.

Nonetheless, Carnahan was a cadaver. The acting governor (Roger Wilson) announced he'd appoint Carnahan's widow Jean to serve until the special election, garnering a huge sympathy vote. Hundreds of people (such as myself) voted absentee before the plane crash. I used to tell people "He was alive when I voted for him!" (Not that I would've voted for Ashcroft again under any circumstances.) What's even wierder is that the night he died I had a dream about meeting him. I learned the next morning about the plane crash.

Any chance of a smark-favorite landslide? We ARE the ones with the computers, afterall.

Kind of makes you wonder if they're even interested in drawing new business. You gotta admire them with trying to build stars out of Orton and JBL, but niether guy was picked by the fans to be a star. REAL stars shouldn't need prolonged super-pushes to get over.

I'd have thought music would've been part of the WCW sale. They've had no problem putting themes for Booker T, the NWO, and Chavo on DVDs and video games. Nah. In the instruction booklet for SYM, they've got copyright info for Booker's, Flair's and I think nWo's music as well, all linking them back to Turner. I know there was at least one game where they had to take Booker's theme out because they didn't wanna pay for it. Other games have a different listing for Booker T's music (titled "KOS 010 #-31") that has no Turner connection, and Flair's theme was written by German composer Richard Georg Strauss in 1896 (later more famously used as the opening music for the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odessey). -

I don't think Scott Keith's so great. Think about all the stories he's missed over the years: Rey Mysterio decided to start wearing the mask again when he woke up one morning and realized he was still 12. Stacy Keibler was stuck with the Dudley Boys back in 2001 as punishment for dating Test. Triple H only grew his beard back because everyone kept mistaking him for Greg "the Hammer" Valentine. Originally the "higher power" was going to be Sunny. (Get it? "Higher" power? **sigh**) The U.S. Title is actually a belt buckle bought at a soveneir shop in Armarillo, Texas. The real reason Stephanie hasn't regularly been on TV in a year is because Triple H was afraid she'd become a bigger star than him.

Could Stephanie McMahon BE a bigger moron?

Remember just a little over a year ago when Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit were feuding for this title?
