I thought the match told a good story, and you have to consider how much pain Austin must have been in during it.

Let me point out five things: 1. I had a better view of the audience than you did, since I was actually in it. 2. I'm in a better position to comment on the frame of mind of the audience, since I was actually a part of it. 3. Disagreeing about this is a perfectly valid thing to do, since we were witnessing the same event from different perspectives. However, calling someone a "retard," or saying that they're "on crack" because they don't agree, especially given that the person your disagreeing with meets the two criteria I listed above, is ridicules. Not only that, but it is blatantly against the rules of this forum. 4. Your definiton of "trolling" was saying anything which disagrees with the proedominant opinion, which is NOT what trolling means. Therefore, I was not trolling. 5. You need to at least consider the possibility that someone else might be right, however based on your replies to everyone, its perfectly obvious that your grip on reason and/or reality is fleeting at best. I have no further points to make, and am not particularly interested in whether you reply to me or not, since it will likely be just more of the same pointless verbage that you've already been polluting this thread with for the last several pages. That is all.

^You'd have me let his ad hominem go unchallenged?^ He digged his own grave, I'm just trying to make sure he gets in it. By all means, justify the statement. I'm anxiously awaiting your expert testimony on why my disagreeing with you on how much of a pop Randy Orton got at an event I was actually at makes me a "retard."

I demand details/pics. Details? What more details do you need other then she was topless? How much skin was shown? What did she cover herself up with? Was the shot from the back or the front? -
And you certainly aren't simply repeating everything I say as a denial, either. The reason you're getting your ass handed to you by everyone is because we're using actual facts to back up our claims, instead of making bullshit statements and then calling people retards when they dispute you.
-
There's not much point in trying to get him to see reason, Rudo. If he thinks knows better than I do about an event that I was actually at, surely he's not interested engaging in rational discourse using facts instead of the name-calling he's already employed.

You're denial about losing this debate is leading me to suspect you're living in some sort of fantasy world. Everyone on this board who has argued with you has owned your ignorant retorts, so get over yourself. The best you could do against ME was to say I was "either retarded or on crack," when in fact I was in a better position to judge the truth than you were. Your assertions are flawed, your defenses are a joke, and so far the only thing you've managed to do is make yourself the laughing stock of the boards. The only reason I'm even responding to you is because I'm baiting you to see how much more ridicules nonsense you'll spew before you inevitably start flaming me again and I can laugh at you even more than I already am. Let me say, however, that I find your empty-headedness a source of slight entertainment since every board needs one guy they can unite around and universally condemn for posting uninformed stupidity.

He provided undeniable proof that what you said, and thus your entire point, was incorrect. By all known laws of reason, this is called "proving you wrong". He is also not the first, nor the last, person on this thread to do so.

They already have good characters, especially on Smackdown, but they get wasted in boring angles.

WWE was pretty good during the build up for Wrestlemania XX, except for the Brock/Austin feud. I found Raw very entertaining when Benoit was champ, for some reason. Maybe because it wasn't the "Watch HHH Bury People" show for those five months.

If anyone else would like to join the "Prove fanofcoils wrong about something" bandwagon, we'd love to have you. Sorry, but I tend to get really annoyed with people who flame me because I actually know what I'm talking about.

I don't think a chance will be given. The people who bought tickets for this PPV are the kinds of people who are paying $300-$21 to see JBL vs. Undertaker in the main event. -
I'm sure Rudo is thrilled that you just called him a nobody.
-
Bingo. That's what is missing IMO. Characters that fans care about and want to see win. Actually, I think he was talking about having better angles, not just stars.
-
Aren't you getting tired of getting proven wrong about everything yet? Or are you trying to keep this thread alive long enough for everyone one on the forums to get a shot at you? Just quit arguing already and go away.

Speaking as someone who reads the recaps but who's only seen 3 hours of Smackdown in six months, it seems as though Anglesault's arguments about the Big Show/Kurt Angle fued make a lot of sense. I did see the episode where Angle got thrown off of the catwalk/balcony, but I was so annoyed by that, the JBL mega-push, and the Heyman/Undertaker feud I felt like *I* needed to throw someone off of a balcony and take a few months off. -
Randy Orton may not be all that over

Austin Powers says: "Oh B-hav... Forget it, I haven't been funny since the first 20 minutes of my second movie. God, Cat In The Hat sucked. May-B I should make another Wayne's World movie..." -
Let me start out by saying that I agree with Bush that America shouldn't need permission from other countries to do the right thing. I, however, disagree with him about what "the right thing" is. Kerry did correctly assured the voters that he would not give other nations a veto power of America's security. Kerry used some pretty fancy manuevering to try to demonstrate how he's been consistent on Iraq, but I'm sure if the American people will believe him. His argument that sanctions would have worked is not convincing. Bush beautifully dodged the question about whether America was more vulnerable with Kerry as president by saying Kerry would never be president. That was a no win question. I think Kerry's calm demeanor and knowledgability about the world should impress quite a few undecided voters. His arguments about how Bush was neglecting the rest of the world made sense and were well constructed. Bush, on the other hand, seemed unsure of himself, and kept spouting the same catchphrases over and over to the point where he was using them to answer the wrong questions. Bush to said that the world was safer without Saddam Hussein when asked that question about North Korea. That'll get played over and over in a future Kerry ad. I think this debate will do for Bush's campaign what the movie "Striptease" did for Demi Moore's movie career. Bush looked flustered and irritable while Kerry seems solid, intelligent, and confident. Kerry was clearly the winner. It remains to be seen what impact this debate will have, and there are still two debates to go. I'm not going to get over-confident. Kerry's defense of the apparent contradiction that Saddam Hussien is a threat/the war is wrong opens up a new can of worms. Kerry's defense is that we could've taken care of this threat without going to war, and that he only voted for the war to give Bush negotiating power. That is not a easily defendable position, and I'm not sure if it'll be enough to convince most of the voters that he's a decisive decision maker. In fact, I'm sure to a lot of people it'll sound like a clever way to play both sides of the fence. The Republicans will certainly exploit this weakness, as they have been doing since Kerry became the front-runner. Kerry did manage to divert attention away from his vote against the $87 billion in additional funds by dismissing it as an error in speaking, not an error in judgement. Bush made a big mistake though by trying to link Iraq to every other topic. When Bush defended his decision to go to war with Iraq by stating "they attacked us," Kerry pounced, noting that Iraq was not responsible for the 9/11 attacks. I already noted his improperly answering the question about North Korea by saying Saddam Hussein was a threat. There's still a month until the election, and Bush has plenty of time (and plenty of help from his conservative allies) to undo whatever damage might have been caused by his visible frustration tonight. Remember, we are not electing a great debater, we are electing a leader. Voters may respect Bush's determination to do what he thinks is right more than Kerry's ability to talk circles around Bush. I think the rest of America finally saw tonight what I saw in 1996 that made me admire Kerry in the first place. You may recall that I listed as one of my reasons for supporting Kerry during the primaries that he had been a strong and convincing advocate for himself and his positions during the Kerry/Weld debates 8 years ago. Win or lose, Kerry is a fighter. That's not a bad quality to have in a Commander In Chief.

There is no way on Earth I could disagree with you more. The Undertaker is over. The Undertaker is not a draw. I rest my case. As far as Randy Orton t-shirts being plants... ...they must've planted all the folks buying them at the souvenier stand too, because that's where they were getting the t-shirts from.
-
I don't necessarily agree with the philosophy that says that whoever gets the loudest pops should be who gets to be in the main event. Ratings should also be taken into consideration. Orton was one of the most over people in that arena Monday night (men, women, kids...and there were a shitload of Randy Orton t-shirts being worn by people...virtually everyone cheered the guy at some point). However, that arena was also half-empty. Being over and being a draw are not the same thing. P.S. For those of you wondering (both of you) if I was on TV, I have not watched the whole show yet, but I was the guy who held up the PWN3D sign when Shelton grabbed the mic away from HHH in the first segment.
-
One to two months of filming for a bit part? Yikes.
-
Fiction. That dude was getting pops from everyone in the arena tonight. Not as loud as HBK's. Not as prolonged as Flair's. But he was definitely getting some crowd noise. I stand by this statement. I was there, and I know what I saw and heard. It doesn't make me on crack. It doesn't make me a retard. It doesn't make me a troll. And that's all I'm going to say about it.
-
I think you guys are overreacting to the Diva Search in general. It was just eye candy to cool the crowd down in between matches. A wrestling show can't be all matches all the time.
