I don't know, maybe it's just me.....but Christy strikes me as unbelievably obnoxious and a straight up corn ball Fine qualities for a non-wrestling Diva, if you ask me. Her ice cream skit last week showed more personality than anything else any of those girls have done.

Its was given away on a fluke. A title's value comes not from just its history, but how hard the person was percieved to have worked to get it. The JBL character was awarded a title shot for kicking some Mexicans out of the country (nothing to do with wrestling). Then he later won it on a technicality. The man selected to be pushed as champion was unable to get over as anything but a backstage character. His reigns as a tag champ are not note-worthy, his reign as European champ was forgettable. His reign as Hardcore champ was forgettable. He basically went from being half of a losing tag team to number-one contender in the period of one PPV cycle. If JBL had won a tournament to get into the title picture (even by excessively cheating), or some other thing to get over before being handed a title shot, we wouldn't be having this conversation. The WWE title, as a result, has been given the distinction of being something ANYONE can win.

They need a No Mercy main event. And then they'll probably do 'Taker/Eddy at Survivor Series, presuming that it will be a normal joint show. They'd have to turn Undertaker heel, wouldn't they? Is that even possible? If murdering your manager doesn't turn you heel, what will?

Undertaker really should've put JBL over. There's no reason to drag this out for another month.

I think that story was told in the short-lived "Secret Origins" series from the late 80s. The best thing about post-Crisis DC continuity was that all of the heroes DC owned merged onto one planet. The refitted Superman and Wonder Woman were necessary evils, since DC had made both the characters too powerful and gave them both too much ridicules backstory since the 50s. Unfortunately, recent storylines in the Superman titles are trying very hard to bring back some of the stupider elements of the silver age Superman's legacy (i.e. the tacky-bright colored Kryptonian history, Supergirl, Krypto).

Firestorm is a DC character. Spiderman and Iceman starred in "Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends" on NBC with FireSTAR (who is also a girl). Firestorm starred in the final two seasons of ABC's "Superfriends" series.

So does this mean that UT is winning the belt and then feuding with Jon Heidenreich over the WWE TITLE of all things? Nice to see Vince has learned his lesson over what happened with Jon last time and Nathan Jones thing. I think Vince is high enough on JBL that he's willing to let him keep the belt for a little while longer. Undertaker needs another world title like Jerry Lawler needs more hormones. Surely even Vince can see that.
