I was trying to figure out why a heel would be in the face lockeroom.. They got their locker assignments before Booker turned heel at the beginning of the show.

To me, the low point of the NWO run (not that there weren't a lot of them) was when Scott Hall couldn't even get a clean win over Bradshaw at Backlash. Logically, Triple H should've retained the belt that night and joined the NWO. That'd have helped the angle greatly and saved us from the horrid Taker/Hogan feud... Of course, that whole show was fucked up beyond all recovery.

He may not "name names", but he's pretty much saying that guys today can't work. I'm really taken aback by his blind devotion to Triple H, and opinion that HHH is carrying everyone else.
-
You're 100% right.

I could understand people jumping to Austin's defense if this hadn't happened before. Austin has a history of beating up on women. The man's a jerk. Vince should fire him.
-
You know, the more I think about it, I can't help but think the WWE's constant referral to Smackdown as second rate (even if it is the heels doing it) can't be helping.
-
While it wouldn't be funny, he could be like a Forrest Gump. Or the Waterboy.

I honestly don't think that people who read the spoilers make up very many Nielsen families.

Booker T on Smackdown? I can definitely dig that....SUCKA!!!!!!! (I had to do it.)
-
AAAGGGHHH!!!! YOU SAID "MANOS"!!!!! (Every frame of that film looked like someone's last known photgraph.)

Good point. -
Religious, yes. But is she Catholic?

Please note that the above quote is the opinion of the person writing the article, as the use of the words "likely" and "doubtful" indicate it is probably not actually based on any inside information, but speculation.

My wish list: Booker T to Smackdown. HBK as the top heel on Raw. HHH and Edge in another promotion altogether.

I thought Brock was developing a great character, and I was really looking forward to watching him in the future. His reasons for leaving are his own, and all I can say is that I'll miss seeing him perform.
-
I don't, either. Hell, I didn't even like the title match from 1999. HHH/Cactus Jack from Rumble 2000 is officially my favorite match. Watching it snaps me out of my hhhate. I think part of the charm was the fact that they weren't using a big set for the PPV (which they usually don't at MSG PPV's), and it made it feel more intimate. It really looked like there was nothing between the fans and the action, and crowd involvement really made what was already a great performance seem even greater.

VH-1's making a "I Love the 90's"???? A little soon, dontcha think?
-
They have him announced as coming from Georgia now because the WWE doesn't think that, in our current national mood of ultra-patriotism, fans in the U.S. will cheer for a Canadian champion. Mystery solved.

Austin could do it. Oh, sweet merciful Jesus, the irony...
-
Maybe Vince watched all the WCW bashing on the "Monday Night Wars" DVD, realized the irony, and decided to make some changes? Or maybe all the steriod stories in the news have scared him into pushing smaller guys?

Eddie WWE Champ...Benoit's WHChamp after HHH jobbed clean...their redoing the lottery...Trish just turned heel...Victoria's the top female face, and feuding with Molly...Evolution might break-up...Ultimo Dragon's not just on TV, but getting a title shot... ...did I become head booker and someone didn't tell me?

That it was a work?

One and Only Smackdown Thread For 3/18/04
SuperJerk replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm hoping for Hawkeye next year, personally. I'd say Green Lantern...but that'd probably be more of Helms' m.o. I'd say Cap America, but Kurt's got that covered. I got it...Ant-Man! Y'know...cuz he's short. Har har. -
Please, God, no. People don't realize that Jesse Ventura worked in politics for years before running for statewide office. Arnold winning the top office in California had made it look like anybody who's a celebrity with even the slightest amount of interest in becoming president one day (even if it takes a constitutional amendment) should run for office, regardless of past political experience, interest in public policy, or position on issues.
