I'm a BENJIMANIAC!!!!! **runs like hell from the thread**

No, its a successful catchphrase partly because it can mean different things in different situations. Although you're the only one who's ever thought it meant something literal. Popular things (such as religion, movies, books, music, etc.) often mean different things to different people.
-
Anglesault, when Cena says "You can't see me," he's using a figure of speech. He doesn't literally mean you can't actually defect the light being reflected off of his body with your eyes. Except for the whole "copyright infringement" thing.

Like I didn't already have enough reason to hate Fox News. Um, it might be because they decided before the match who the winner was going to be...you stupid bitch!
-
^Well, yeah, there is that correllary, isn't there?^
-
They did that becasue he was in a triple-threat for the title and so was ineligible for the draft since there was a possibility he'd be the travelling Undisputed Champion. Also, I hope Jericho and Trish are on seperate shows.
-
They can, but I'm just saying that they'll have to also eliminate Rikishi fairly quickly. By that point you've eliminated two teams within a couple of minutes, which totally kills the drama of the match. The only team worth a shit in the Smackdown side are TWGTT. Raw at least has two.

Reason Why Test, Hardy, & Lita Didn't Make WMXX

FREE MATT HARDY! -
So you're saying that it can't be a work? If anything, the comments by the coach really do support the idea that its a work. Therefore, your mental midget theory goes out the window. If it is not mentioned on the show tonight, how could it be a work? WWE is not idiotic enough to try and work internet fans. Too much work for too little payoff. -=Mike I'd agree, except its not just the internet, but the mainstream sports press reporting it, too.
-
Well, let them get eliminated first... And yeah, sounds like a terrific idea. Both the APA and Rikishi can't be eliminated first. Since the teams on the Raw match are better (except for TWGTT), so they should get more time.
-
I like your idea, thetrendsetter, but which one? I doubt neither the APA nor Rikishi has the conditioning to hang in for a long match, so I'd make that one the "one fall to a finish", and make the other one elimination.

The One and Only WrestleMania predictions thread
SuperJerk replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in The WWE Folder
Everytime a wrestler does a dropkick, someone should start an "OVW" chant. The only prediction I care to make: Since HBK already pinned Benoit, so he stands to lose no heat, Benoit will pin HBK. HHH can then spend the next month bitching about being a conspiracy victim, and that HBK laid down for Benoit just so HHH would be deprived of the title. The "Benoit as the underdog" storyline gets fulfilled, HBK returns a job, and Triple H gets to make his rival look bad in the eyes of fans. -
Buyrates & Main Events For All Past WrestleManias
SuperJerk replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
To my knowledge, that was the only time it was referred to as a "main event". Y2J/HHH was a, if not the, main event because it was (a) the last match on the card and (b) was for the WWF Undisputed Title. -

Except the WWE never called it the "main event", did they? -

Steph was part of the match, though. Yeah but. lets be real here it was booked as a feud between HHH and Steph with Jericho tagging along. I still say it was the main event, not Hogan/Rock. -

How will they explain Brock's leave on Smackdown?
SuperJerk replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
^HAH!^ Maybe Abe Lincoln will come out and deliver the Gettysburg Address, or Napoleon will annouce he's invading Russia. -

So, Triple H goes blame free, huh? -
Gold. As was Choken One's.

Don't forget about that documentary crew following around those firefighters on 9/11. Anyone else think this "Game Over" show might've been good if they'd not put every single joke in the commericial and played it nonstop for the last two months?

JR Speaks On Brock, WMXX, Foley, Rock, & More
SuperJerk replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Because, you know, the fans don't want to be entertained. They want to see two really huge, slow guys make faces during restholds and stomp their feet when they throw punches. -
WWE News: Goldberg's Future, Edge, SD!, Stern
SuperJerk replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
What remark was that? During "This Is Your Life, Mick" last Monay, when the book/movie critic said that "Walking Tall" was a "walking piece of crap", Lawler said that the critic must work for one of the dirt sheets. -
Excellent point.

You wanna know how naive I am? I really thought the only reason they were gringing back the Deadman Undertaker was so it'd be that much cooler when Kane went over him at Wrestlemania before Taker finally retires. Today I find out they want to just make Kane the first victim of a months long feeding frenzy that'll include Brock Lesnar. Every once in a while I get the mistaken idea that Vince knows what the hell he's doing. I really hope this is a work.
