sorry. i didnt realise tsm had punctured rusty hooks into your eye lids & forced you to read this thread. for a teacher, you're not very tolerant. you're intolerant to a fault. dare i say you're being a jerk. For a random guy I've never heard of posting on an internet message board, you seem like someone who is unable to comprehend the difference between an enthusiastic, yet facetious, comment intended to make a point, and an actual attempt at commanding people to do my bidding. Also, by claiming that if I do not agree with the attempts to edit the White Album I should not be reading this thread, you are being intolerant of my right to disagree or offer criticism of other's opinions.

I like Al Sharpton. I wouldn't VOTE for him, but I like him.

While I liked it, "I Heart Huckbees" only made $12 million and cost $22 million to make. That actually may be a good reason to use the slogan, since its an excellent metaphor for Republican tax policies. I don't think he's the worst politician in Washington, and I think that I've been laying off of him for the last couple of days. I'm just extremely disappointed with someone I used to admire spending 6 years cozying up to someone I despise, but everyone pretending he's still the same guy he ever was.

I'm only saying it probably wasn't a mainstream enough movie for a politician to try to cash in on.

I fucking hate the Lee/Kara/Anders/Dee stuff. I hope this was the end of it. The exploration of Cylon religion is also becoming tiresome. It works in small doses, but it went from being a means to an end. It went from being a way of motivating the Cylons to being genocidal maniacs to being the theme the show revolves around. I liked this show a lot better when it was about people coping with survival in the faced of a hostile enemy. I haven't like this season since they left New Caprica.

Brandy was obviously not giving the car in front of her enough room if she couldn't hit bring her vehicle to a stop before hitting it, but the story doesn't mention how fast either Brandy or Aboudihaj was going at the time, or how Aboudihaj managed to spin completely out of control like this before her car was struck by the 4th car. It also doesn't mention whether or not the 4th car's behavior increased the likelihood of the crash in any way. So, yeah, there's some wiggle room to make it look like this wasn't entirely her fault.

Boooo. Yeah, that part was great. I guess I didn't realize FF had a new writer, even though the characterization was waaaay better this month.

Plus I got a thing for Rachel Ray. Pic gave me a chuby. Rachel Ray's cute until she starts talking.

What? I heart Huckabee? If he can get Dustin Hoffman to support him, it will be perfect. I think everyone who saw that movie posts on this board.

STOP TRYING TO EDIT THE WHITE ALBUM!!!!!!

He's supposed to get a monthly, though. DC did that same trick with Hal Jordan once, before finally bringing him back in "GL: Rebirth".

Good reason to support Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFu7Z-UYZmg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fAOFvR-nGo Barack Obama speaks in defense of civil liberties on the Senate floor. edit: Should we have a separate thread for Barack Obama news/articles/etc., and save this thread for discussion of the actual campaign and less notable candidates?

Yeah, I saw part of that interview...someone really needs to define for me WTF Lieberman means when he says he's an "Independent Democrat".

Speaking o that... By the time I got to the comics store this week, they'd sold out of "Civil War: the Return." Anybody want to fill me in on what happened?

The final episode of "Dallas" where they did a rip-off of Its a Wonderful Life, except (like the "Married with Children" ep) everyone else was better off without J.R., and at the end the episode it turned out to be a "demon" trying to get J.R. to kill himself.

I'd prefer if he goes to the anger management class once a week during the evening or on Saturday for 10 weeks, like they do in the real world.

There's an old saying at Marvel... "Only Bucky stays dead." ...which I'm sure no one says anymore.

TV deaths that pissed you off or upset you

The original plan was to set the next season in the future after the demon had taken over the world. No, really. It was the actress's decision to leave in both cases. -
Most of the time the reason for people's chosen ideology is psychological, not factual. If seeing other people getting extra help from the government makes you bitter and resentful, you're a conservative. You'll pretty much believe anything that reinforces this view. Also, I find Al Franken's books to be very funny. I also find "The Onion" funny, so it could just be that the voice in my head that I hear when I read has awesome delivery.

I couldn't have said it any better.

There's only 3 reasons anyone would vote to make Mrs. Clinton the Democratic nominee: 1. They really, really miss her husband. 2. The novelty of "first woman president" gives them the feminist equivalent of a hard-on. 3. They want to see Rush Limbaugh's head explode.
