Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana could go Democratic. I can actually envision a scenario where a Democrat could win 351 electoral votes. http://www.archives.gov/federal-register/e...calculator.html

I'm guessing 5% of that 10% would be anti-Hillary. For every woman under 30 who grew up with Hillary as a role-model and can't wait to vote for her, you've probably got a woman over 70 who thinks she's the devil.

I know someone who tried to make the "voter turn-out would cancel out the backlash" argument about Hillary Clinton and female voters. Its far more plausible to apply it to Obama and black voters, of course.

The last Eddie Murphy movies I enjoyed were Bowfinger and his first Nutty Professor.

It's sort of official but not really... http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/16/oba...pers/index.html

Put me in the "I want Ted Kord to stay dead" column. The new Blue Beetle series is great. Yes, I was a huge Kyle Rayner fan, why do you ask?

Award shows in general are just further proof that people become entertainers because of a psychological deficit that causes them to constantly need approval. (So...what'd you think fo my post? Shockingly irreverent and topical, wasn't it? Everyone agrees with me, right?)

-Hillary Clinton from National Journal The it is worded, it seems like she's saying Edwards is in favor of Bush's Iraq policy, which is ridicules. The "I'm the Best Alternative to Hillary" sweepstakes is heating up.

As much good will as Guiliani has in Republican circles, I have a hard time believing his campaign is dead meat. Logically, of course, I know there's a litmus test in the GOP that all of their presidential candidates must lean a specific way on "moral" issues. However, given Guiliani's post-9/11 reputation, I still have a hard time beleiving they'd take a complete pass on the guy. I should be grateful, since holding him down only helps my party, but it really churns my stomach more than anything else. Article about the Confederate flag and the Presidential candidates.

"I have a dream...that one day...that all races will remake the same bad movies over and over again...yes, I have a dream!"

Just saying the 360 player add-on should be good enough for my TV since it doesn't have HDMI or DVI.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16599540/ No surprise that Ford didn't drink the Reagan Kool-Aid, but nice to see it in print.

I'm not feeling creative enough at the moment to fully take advantage of this typo.

So World War 3 is part of "52"? Funny how if it was something that already happened before OYL, nobody mentioned it until the new JSA #1.

Remember how last week the press was filled with pundits talking about how the Democrats weren't really doing anything to oppose the president? Now we get THIS: The Washington War Game The fight over Iraq is a clash of governmental branches not seen since Vietnam.

Uh..whatever. I wasnt insisting anything. Well, then I must've misunderstood. Sorry. Yeah, that $200 HD-DVD add-on is starting to sound like a REALLY good deal.

Yeah, I caught a few minutes of him on Don Imus the other day. He came off as friendly, well-spoken, and bright, though when you're sitting across from Don Imus, that's kind of a ping-pong ball into Bucket #1, so to speak. More than any other candidate, I think he really has the sense of authenticity and conserative values that Republican voters will be looking for.

This thread is like reading transcripts of the Watergate tapes.

I don't disagree with you, but let me explain why I'm disagreeing with MarvinisaLunatic. The word convert is not dependent on direction. As you pointed out, it is being converted. Thus, for MarvinisaLunatic to continually insist that I have to use the term "down-convert" instead of just saying "convert" in order to be correct is just plain wrong. What MarvinisaLunatic is doing is correcting me for absolutely no reason just so he can sound smart.

Golly, Jack, maybe the LAPD might take your application more serously if you actually had some real, full-time job experience in law enforcement. Where ever could you get that? -
