The reason for the MAJOR hate is because of the child. It is the striking point and the nerve that is getting this the MAJOR national attention that its getting. It is not to downplay Nancy in any way, shape, or form it is just that the child was only 7 and killed because the scumbag of a "dad" that "deeply" "loved" his children. She just as big of a victim but people will not forget her as well. Its just makes the case sadder that the child was involved. Few Live notes from last night: 1: Flair was the most over in terms of pure pop, everyone was chanting We want Flair!" well before the PPV began. Batistia was second for his pop and third was Umaga for his beat down on Morrella. The whole crowd was chanting "kill the ref" and "one more time". Benoit had a decent sized chant durring the Punk/Nitro match. Half of my area said piss brake when Nitro's music hit. It might not have come off that well but Booker T was very over with the crowd. Most of the crowd had the pinky up in the air. 2: The crowd was pretty dead for a lot of the show. Hardy and Cena had the kiddies and girls screaming through out. Batitsta match seem to have the most heat on the whole card. Most of the legends who were shown were giving no real response. People really didn't care about Steamboat, Windham, Rotund(a/o), Martel, Race, ect. Biggest response was WHO?! The dullest amount of heat was for the SD tag titles, as the crowd was either sitting on their hands for most of it or going to buy food. Snuka looked awful live. 3: Crowd seem to hate the fact that they there was only one title change. It seem like a glorrifed house show, rather than a PPV. The only thing that made it seem like a PPV was that there were video packages shown. Everything els seem like this was some friday night event a local event. With the hardy's losing the crowd went with them. MVP winning futher killed the crowd. Umaga getting DQed and Baititsa blowing it twice was the nail in the coffin of people writing off this PPV. 4: The Toyota Center was small, so you really felt the pyro. I was directlly across from the entrence and I felt everything from those blast.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe the Klan started in Mobile. I know its Alabama, but I wasn't quiet sure of the town. And It isn't that I think everyone in the south thinks the KKK is right, I was trying to use their home town for a simple example.

The big problem comes from that fine line between: protest vs incite. Protesting should be allowed in most cases, but when does inciting become the level. If you are in lets say, Houston, TX and stomped on the flag. Expect some of the locals to go and bash your skull in. But if you Mobile, AL and said white power with 3 dozen other guys in white hoods, expect nothing more than a shouting match with a few blacks on the other side of the street. There is a difference from geting rage to getting a simple "fuck you". I think the best way to put it is, if you make a clear and present danger to either others or yourself, than that kind of "speech" should be outlawed. "FIRE!!" in stairwell. But the line between protest/hate speech and riot inciting is paper thin. Just because someome uses slurs or gestures just to try and piss someone off than that should be allowed. Because as one judge did say: "The first admendment is not to protect what you want to hear, but what you DON'T want to hear". However, it shouldn't allow riot/panic remarks. There is one major flaw in the wole flag burning/storm/whatever argument, why is it that these people want destroy the symbol of this country that allows their freedoms, if they were in China and did that to the flag, they would be shot on the spot no questions asked. Its like hiding behind legal loopholes to bash the country so much that they "hate" yet love enough to still live here.

Fuel Cells are only on very very few buses and test labs. Electric cars are like nowhere, and are a joke since Big Oil owns all the contracts and will work on the tech. Hybrids are the best best, but the problem is that they cost a lot more than normal cars, and in some areas STILL have waiting list for some models. I would personally buy a Accord hybrid right now, but the problem is I am not going to pay the money of a BMW SUV for the price of a honda fucking coupe.

Almost all cars these days can go 40 to 80 without a problem. Hell, even big ass land boats can cruise at high speed. Cena's feuds didn't bury his contenders like DX v Rated RKO did. It got to the point where EVERYONE knew that DX would win out in the end. Plus when Triple H went down with his torn quad, HBK single handedly took out both of them in what seem squash matches. Cena's superman act atleast makes it look like someone might have a chance to beat him. And it keeps his challengers still with their heat in tact. Cena has had good to great matches this year with Edge, HBK twice, Umaga twice, and pretty damn good one with Khali, a match with Benoit, plus the tag match against Bastista and Taker. When Michaels wants he can have a good match with just about anyone. But Cena has been busting his ass off to the point where is it the "broomstick" clause that Shawn is carrying everyone or is it Cena can do his side of the job to make the whole match look good?

Rey could have been a draw but the nWo angle kind of made it hard for anyone not named Sting, Jericho, or DDP giving a chance to draw if they were not wearing that black and white t-shirt. Rey in the mid 90s was one of the better wrestlers in North America at the time. Rey right now is a complete shell of himself. His injuries have turned him into the US version of Muta. Where his match style is different but the reason everyone cares is because he has very little of flash that first turned heads and had people caring about him. Cena currently is one of the best on the roster. He has improved 1000 fold since he first one the title. He and about half of the roster need their gimmicks changed to stop the crap. All of Cena's problems come from the booking meetings. His Rocky like promos, his over use of dick/gay jokes, him never allowed to stay serious for more than 20 mins, his theme and outfit not fitting with the gimmick, his pimping of a garbage movie, ect. ect. But his PPV matches have all been great. I don't think a heel turn would fix the problems, I think if Cena just kept up the serious part of his gimmick with a new theme ALL fans would care.

I have a qustion: How can a match be one of the five most signifigant matches of a title, yet be overrated at the same time? As far as IC title matches it was not even brought to question. I know it was title for title, but when they talk about it now a days its Hogan vs Warrior in the Ultimate Showdown with little talked about the IC title itself being on the line. I can agree with you that it was an overrated match. But as for as the IC title goes, it was completely not a signifigant moment.

Um, the two biggest draws on that show for CT were the Rock and Roll express, and they were NEVER a draw in the Northeast. Jerry was a draw for the AWA and Memphis, but they aren't in the AWA land. Also, AWA last drawing acts left in 1987 when the Rockers went to Stamford. BTW, CT doesn't like many wrestling companies not named the WWF. In 1999, ECW did a wrestling show in Stamford, yet didn't get 400 people. This is sad for a wrestling show, but doesn't really say much.

Bottom 5: 5: HBK: Great matches but THREE times just gives up the title. Never jobbed any title until his match against Sid. 4: Road Dogg, he was going for the Hardcore title at WM yet, thanks to Russo he ends up going for the IC title and winning it yet jobbing it to Dust weeks later with ZERO point. 3: Rocky's first reign: it was bad, but he was so green and boring back then that everyone hated him for his 70s babyface bullshit act. Maybe his minor injury was a blessing to his career. 2: Umaga, what was the point taking the belt off of Jeff Hardy, atleast he defended the title more than once. Umaga's title reign was the second most pointless reign of the title. 1: Chyna, there was NO point in her becoming champion. It killed the belt and made both Jarrett and Jericho look like dipshits.

1: Savage - He could headline A shows when he was champion. Thats how big of a draw he was. 2: The Rock - his second IC title reign had him go from most hated to most loved AND he was still a heel. 3: Bret Hart - His two reigns were what turned him from tag team guy to main event player. (didn't hurt him having singles matches off and on since 1985 and the top two guys in 1992 flaking out). 4: Mr Perfect - Not so much for drawing crowds but some of the best matches with the title with him as champion 5(tie) Roddy Piper/Ricky Steamboat - not for their long reigns but people talk about BOTH of them winning the belts as major moments from that era.
