  1. Lieberman is a Dem, but ran and an independent because he lost as we all know. So him being counted is ok.

The other independent is a true one, but since he votes with the "left" most "left news networks" will rope him into that.

One of the Congressional reps in Texas is really a libertarian, he "sided" with the right because he says "its a two party system", but he shouldn't be counted with the "right".

  2. RI gamblers just cross in to CT to the two casinos all within 30 mins of ANY part of RI.

Wine in Grocery stores is what CT has been used to since forever. We just have our wine shops NEXT door.

Shays looks like he won...yet not even 30% in.

Lieberman won, yet less than 2% margin and under 50% of the polls.

If I hear one more thing on the War, I will fucking scream.....

  3. Seen on TV:

NWA World Title: which came the Big Gold Belt...

NWA US title: best looking US title ever.

NWA World Tag Team: Best looking tag team titles ever

NWA US tag team: the red belts aka the Midnight Express championships.

NWA TV title: the only belt to fit around Dusty's waist

NWA 6 Man Tag titles: Excuse to give Dusty a title, then the Road warriors.

NWA National title: Yet another belt for singles matches, died about 86ish to 87ish.

NWA National tag titles: More tag titles, last used to make LOD champions without having to strip other teams of the World titles.

NWA Western States Heritage title: The former AWA World Champion Defect to South title.

There was a Woman's champion that the WWF bought, Moolah as first champion...nuff said on that.

There was a Junior weight title that Tiger Mask and Dynamite Kid were wrestling for: dried up after that in North America.

  4. The best wargames are 1987(The bomb GAB tour- 7/4/87), 1989 (GAB PPV), 1991 (Wrestlewar 91), and 1992(Wrestlewar 92).

What makes these matches so great is that the drama is building up in the match. Watch 1987 for proof, watch how Dusty gives and then takes a shit kicking by the Brainbusters to build heat on who ever saves him. The heels win the coin toss for drama, it would be dumb to have it the other way around. Its having people like Hawk(87 and 89) and Sting(91 and 92) not start the match because of their great skills at timing the comebacks to build heat. Its why having the Austin, (92), Midnight Express(89), Dusty (87) and Pillman(91) pacing to keep the heat going on. Plus it allows talentless slugs like Sid (91), and Koloff(87,92) to be apart of ****+ matches with little work as possible being done.

    Spyware/Adware Removing Tools

Spybot S&D - One of the most up-to-date removal tools you can get. You'll find a lot of crap on your computer

Ad-Aware SE: Updated link as of 9-16-2006. Same result as before.

Spyware Blaster Another spyware removal tool. Free but I haven't tried it yet.

HijackTHIS - Removes browser hijacking (redirecting to other sites like Casino site when you are trying to go to Google.com etc).

    Browsers

Mozilla 1.X - Includes pop-up blocking in the browser itself. Think Thuderbird and Firefox in one clean package. Discontinued for Seamonkey, see below.

Mozilla Firefox - Really cool. Has pop-up blocking AND tabbed browsing. Tabbed browsing owns.

Avant Browser - Addon to Internet Explorer and adds pop-up blocking and you can have multiple browser windows. Updated constantly.

Opera - Good browser and very fast. Free and ad-less. Faster than Firefox and safer to use than IE.

Internet Explorer 7.0 Finally an IE that works. Most Firefox shortcuts work as well. This program seems to be a split of Sarfari and Firefox. Most stable build of program yet. All people using IE atleast upgrade to this product. Closes SO many holes that are in IE.

UPDATE 11-11-07: Full version released a while ago and I should try to keep this somewhat up to date.

Seamonkey - The next generation of Mozilla, same as the others, worth the try.

    E-mail Clients

Incredimail - Has cool features like backgrounds, handwritten sigs, etc.

Eudora - Alternate to Outlook and Outlook Express which most viruses are targeted at. Free version has small 3/4" add in the lower right but not really noticable. Paid version also includes SPAM filter.

Mozilla 1.x - Includes pop-up blocking in the browser itself plus includes Communicator E-mail client that is very good. Discontinued for Seamonkey, see below.

    Avast! - Same as above.

Panda's 38-in-1 Virus Removal Tool - This gets rid of quite a few of the more common viruses but only those 38. This is something good to run if you can't get online and is small enough to fit on a floppy.

Spyware Blaster Another spyware removal tool. Free but I haven't tried it yet.

HijackTHIS - Removes browser hijacking (redirecting to other sites like Casino site when you are trying to go to Google.com etc).

    [/color] E-mail Clients

Incredimail - Has cool features like backgrounds, handwritten sigs, etc.

Eudora - Alternate to Outlook and Outlook Express which most viruses are targeted at. Free version has small 3/4" add in the lower right but not really noticable. Paid version also includes SPAM filter.

Mozilla 1.4 - Includes pop-up blocking in the browser itself plus includes Communicator E-mail client that is very good.

    SPAM Blockers

Mailwasher - Good program. I use this at home. You run it before you check e-mail with your e-mail client and it will automatically tag e-mail as SPAM (you can also add stuff to blacklist) and can bounce the e-mail back and also delete it before it hits your Inbox. The bouncing is good because it gives the appearance that your e-mail addy doesn't exist. Free version only checks one account. Note: This is for POP3 e-mail (ie. Hotmail, Yahoo mail is not available but the Paid version can check Hotmail.)

Shoot The Messenger - A small (only 22Kb, takes five seconds to download on a slow connection) and simple to use program that will stop Windows Messenger Service spam (gray boxes that appear in the middle of the screen.)

    Pop Up Blocking

Google Toolbar - Add-on for Internet Explorer. Google Labs has some cool shit and the newest thing included in their Toolbar is pop up add blocking. Easy to use and install/uninstall.

Pop-Up Stopper Free Edition - I've heard this works fairly well but I have never used it personally.

Windows Live Toolbar - More goodies from Microsoft. Gives pop up blocking, phish filtering, and tab browsing to current IE.

Now, get atleast a virus scan or a firewall. If you can get one of the paid ones, they come with some service and support to help guide you through your fuck ups. Browsing the web is like having sex. You better use some protection or you might catch some form of eTD.

  6. How is Animal the weaklink of the Road Warriors? Didn't they pretty much fight, can't say they wrestled, on a par.

With the brainbusters, there wasn't a weak link at all. Maybe Tully, after being busted with drugs in his system. As for the IV Horsemen, well, whoever wasn't named Arn, Tully, or Ric was the weak link in the early versions since that spot seem to be a revolving door.

  7. Brad Armstrong= Trainer for talent, good choice since he can wrestle. Also, prevents TNA signing him to semi-tag with his brother.

    H.O.G = WHY?!?!

Mack = E-C-DUB! E-C-DUB! E-C-DUB! And giving C.M. Punk his first lost. Then the next 30.

Marty= Rockers reunion after Triple H turns on HBK, again, and then gets fired after failing a drug test, again.

  8. Iran-- Having nuclear weapons, intimidating its neighbors, is conventional warfare. The Soviet Union did it for 40 years.

However, I believe if Iran were to get nukes, they would in fact try to take over the entire middle east under the guise of a superpower Islamic State whose sole purpose is the extermination of all infidels. Iran's leader has already stated this. He wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

How exactly is that different, from what Hitler tried to do with Germany?

Should the US wait until that is actually happening before doing anything about it?

    Go watch Team America.

Speficially listen to the speech about pussies, dicks, and assholes.

The more I read this board, the more that speech is completely 100 percent spot on.

Uh, Iran isn't a Islamic Extremest nation. They might have that there, but doesn't mean that they are all evil... And, um, half of the UN wants to wipe Israel off the first of the earth. France seems to be leading that fight, yet another non Islamic Extremest nation. Besides, the US/Iran cold conflict has been brewing for like 27 years. Bin Laden was a nobody at the point.

Hitler wanted a Germany superpower, yes. But there is one big difference between Hitler and Bin Laden. I can go on a map and find where Hitler was and know which nation he was leading. Bin Laden is the leader of NO nation, and is in hiding from the US Marines. So I think the War on Terror = WWII argument is debunked yet again.

And by the way: What is the difference between the KKK and Al Qaeda? Both groups use religion to justfy their killings and both groups want to lead holy wars against who they feel distroying the holy life on earth? Does the color of the sheet and where its place make one ok and the other wrong?

BTW: Jerk said it best, this war isn't like ANY other war in history. Mainly due to the fact that not all terrorist of from the Middle East of the world. Its not as clear cut and dry as you try to make it out to be.

Yes, and when Matt and Trey are you source for info, you know you got it correct.

  9. Here is the current "complete" roster for Smackdown v RAW 2007:

    http://ps2.ign.com/articles/730/730396p1.html

September 4, 2006 - It's been a strange year for fans of THQ's WWE SmackDown series. Though the game had been unveiled at one of its earliest points ever (just prior to E3, which is highly unusual timing for the franchise), new gameplay features and the roster itself have been held back longer than we're used to. In fact, the official lineup announcement has come so late this year that false lists have been popping up all over the Internet for weeks.

Luckily, that long wait has finally come to an end.

Highlighted in our table below are all 51 current superstars and divas that will be fully playable in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. Fans should study it well, as it contains a number of new personalities that have never appeared in a SmackDown game before -- Umaga, The Great Khali, MNM, The Boogeyman, and a number of other fresh faces have all joined a roster that includes a huge number of returning favorites (Triple H, Kane, The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, etc, etc). As an added bonus, we've even included a list of all the non-playable characters that players will interact with as well. WWE Legends will be unveiled at a later time.

Longtime readers of IGN should know exactly what this roster reveal means: that in the coming days, we'll kick off our annual "SmackDown Countdown," which shines the spotlight on all 51 superstars as we approach the game's planned release date in mid-November. Look for it to start rather soon.

But now, without further ado -- here's the official confirmed list of superstars:

    CURRENT SUPERSTARS

    Batista JBL Randy Orton

The Big Show Jillian Hall Rey Mysterio

Bobby Lashley Joey Mercury Ric Flair

The Boogeyman John Cena Rob Van Dam

  10. What are some of the dumbest songs ever to be made and called music?

Some of the dumbest ones I ever heard:

5: Informer by Snow: What the fuck does he say?

4: Laffy Taffy by D4L: When 50 says that this is killing rap, you know you have a problem. Hell the whole album is on this one beat.

3: Chicken Noodle Soup by Young B: What the fuck is this shit? The dance looks dumb, the song is dumb, and the "beat" is fucking annoying.

2: Summergirl by LFO: I first thought this was a dumb jingle for A&F, but to find out it is one of the worst songs ever made.

1: "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)” by Toby Keith: When politics and music mix, bad shit like this can happen. I don't even know where to begin with this shit, mindless bullshit is now "American liberites".

  11. Well, this thread is lacking in a point or meaning. Its name wrestlers that do highspots, and its hard to judge because people like Snuka MSG splash and over the top rope plancha on "The Rock" are rememebered more than Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels jumping off a ladder every Wrestlemania.

Plus, what was holy shit level in 1987 "Savage crushing Steamboat with the douple axe handle" is now a setup spot to put heat on the manager.
