Foshi segment

I think you guys should be proud you've kept it up for so long. I was around in like 2002-early 2003 and I started visitng TSM again and decided to rejoin OAOAST just because it was still around. And as far as the future, it'll always and only be as good as the writers.

I think they should follow Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 and have Jimmy Hart as GM with Mankind as his sheriff. Seriously though, as much as I love Ted Dibiase(to whomever mentioned him), I think they're obviously going for a face GM and there's no way I'd ever want to see Ted as a face. I mean if you're gonna have a heel GM, why wouldn't you have just kept Bischoff? Dusty Rhodes just grosses me out. I was watching him and Flair from GAB 86 in the cage and he was all bloody and sweaty and it was just....disgusting. I really don't care if he never has an active role on TV again.

Agreed. Plus towards the end of the year WCW was putting together a great cruiser division again, which basically trumps anything the WWE has done this year. They'll never have a good cruiser division because, unless it's on Velocity, it's not allowed to be anything but smaller guys wrestling a big man style. I wanna punch Cole in the face every time he says "great cruiser action you'll only see on Smackdown". I know it's his job, but he embodies that mentality of WWF for me. As far as a comparison of the two: I don't think it's entirely fair to compare based on who was losing money. In 2000, if you didn't want to watch crappy WCW, you could go watch WWF which was having one of its better years wrestling-wise. In 2005, you really have no straight-up alternative. That said, I'd say WCW was worse. I'm fighting being biased here having just watched one of the worst Raws I've ever seen, but I think Smackdown in general I usually enjoy watching(despite all the stupidty), they can usually break out a good matchr or two. And Raw has Angle, the end.

In regard to the use of Flair's theme: classical pieces don't need ownership. They have free reign, so to speak. That's why they also can continue to leave in Beethoven's 9th as Triple H's old theme.

Fruit Roll-up....LOL
-
Why was Daniels selected as the standard against Angle anyway? I don't even think he's the best in the X-Division. Granted, I can't think of many other than AJ and Joe who are better, but he's still not the best.
-
Maybe, but if you've seen him in the ring, Punk makes Jeff Hardy look like shit...which I guess isn't hard to do, never mind.
-
I hope he's ok. I met Ted(along with Bret and Mick) recently at his Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame induction. He was a really nice guy and very patient. He even signed my wrestling buddy which just made my life since I've had it since I was 7. Best wishes to Teddy.

How about his 92-94 cow-print style tights. Hell, he should just go back to the Rocker attire. He could wear the black and green stripes, take his tanktop off before the match to reveal his 40 year old hairy chest to screams from the crowd, have the streamers, bleach his hair blonde again. It'd be fantastic.

I'm gonna try to get a segment in.

Randy Orton vs. Undertaker (Hell in a Cell Match) -Logic would dictate Orton, but you really never know when Taker's involved. World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Rey Mysterio vs. World Tag Team Champions Big Show & Kane -I could see this going either way, but for some reason I'm sensing the feel-good Batista/Rey victory. WWE Tag Team Champions MNM vs. Psicosis & Super Crazy -Not sure at all. I think they could get something good out of this feud though. Booker T vs. Chris Benoit -Benoit better win. The end. I'm also hoping they add Juvi and Kid Kash.

I think most of us are familiar with his writing. DUD Comment didn't rule the world or anything. *1/2 Can anyone link an image? I'm curious.

::is fined for showing up out of dresscode::

I've actually never seen what Scott Keith looks like, but I'm very familiar with his writing.
-
You know, in the preview pic of the match, they had kind of a golden hue on everyone and Rey really looked like Goldust. I couldn't tell if it was because he had the lipstick on in the pic as well, or just a similarity I never noticed before.

The OAOAST Climax 2005 Predictions Thread!
Foshi replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in Brandon Truitt
Actually, I'm not even writing my match. It's no squash. -
Is this classic Bossman or black suit why is he still employed Bossman? Cuz classic Bossman=workrate.
-
For anyone who cares: Foshi/Massamoto....=(

They could have Batista and Rey win at the show to merge the belts. Kane and Show have individual things to do(Kane in the EC and Show feuding with Triple H), so a breakup of their tag team wouldn't kill. Then you could have Batista and Rey lose the titles fairly soon somehow and then have the merged tag titles on SD where the tag division is obviously much stronger.
-
You know if you want to be technical, and I'm sure WWF doesn't want to be, the Mexicools won a battle royal to determine the #1 contender and not who faces MNM. So to be fair, they should technically face Batista and Rey.
-
Yeah, that wasn't a full-blown feud per se. I think it was more Taker was champ and Austin was #1 contender. Austin was primarily feuding with Bret. And Austin also lost that match anyway. I think the Mankind argument holds up though. Also, it may be sacrilege to mention the name, but Giant Gonzalez made Taker pass out at Wrestlemania 9.

Why don't you go through the wrestler autobiographies?
