I think the wrestlers are going to have to be willing to report other wrestlers who are hiding problems. If Chavo had any inkling Benoit was having problems he was no longer able to deal with, its going to eat him inside that he didn't do anything about it.

Sensational Sherri passes away
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
I still remember going to the Cow Palace and the Ulitmate Warrior stripping her down to her panties before slamming her onto Randy. And WMVII is the only PPV I've ever attended so she has a special place in my memories. RIP Sherry. -
Who's the ugliest player in basketball history?

Scottie Pippen the year he shaved his head. All those creases. -
The Shield, season 5, official thread
OldSchoolWrestling replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I can't remember feeling so much tension watching any show before but from the moment Lem and Shane met at that abandoned shop, my breathing got harder and harder. I had a strong feeling it was going to happen but was still hoping for a swerve that never came. I think Shane was trying to justify it by telling Lem about his wife being pregnant, about how he and his wife put up $5000 and how they would take care of him if he went to Mexico. Great season. -
He should just bomb their headquarters. Then they'll actually have something to complain about. >_> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They should have him borrow the tank that DX used to invade WCW and invade UPN. See how that goes over.

Same here. I still can here him promoting some Wild Musk cologne. RIP

On another message board, I read that they mentioned on Good Morning America that the FCC had ruled that "Fuck" would now be allowed on primetime tv, as long as it is used as an adjective and not a verb. I haven't found an official story about this online, but the abcnews message board has some people discussing it. I always wondered when this would eventually happen. I always figured a show would test the FCC by saying it and seeing if they could get away with it. I'm sure it will be something like NYPD Blue to be the first network tv show to use it, while The Shield will be the first on basic cable.

Was Paula drunk? She seemed to be slurring her words and saying some off the wall stuff. More off the wall than normal that is. And her eyes seemed glossy as well.

I think the deal is that not many people care about the Warriors... Being from the Bay Area, the hardcore Warriors fans have been trying to get them to change the name to Oakland Warriors. But no one gives 2 shits what the fans want.

I haven't been posting much at the board for the last 5 months, but I had to come back for the return of The O.C. The Theresa swerve totally had me. I'm sure we'll see her again, which is good. Not enough drunken Kirsten for me.

That was quite an ass-whipping he took. Mayorga putting his gloves down early and letting Tito blast off on him to show his toughness ended up hurting him. He's got a lot of heart, just not enough brains.

There was a small thread about it when it aired here in the U.S. Those who followed it, like myself, loved it. Watch the first episode. If you enjoy that you should enjoy the season.

Funny thing about this though is the woman that got hit was the wife of the guy who started it all. So if he wasn't acting like an ass, she wouldn't have been hit. But i'm sure they'll collect big, so they can pay for her nosejob.

Eddie & Angle has an "altercation" backstage...
OldSchoolWrestling replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Since Angle is often injured he gets the mental rest and then gets to come back to the top each time. Whereas Eddie's been pounding away the last couple years. He definately needs a break. -
And also, it suprised me that security wasn't more on top of things. I was there Friday night and security was all over everybody that night.

I was watching the game half asleep when this happened. After seeing the replay, it appears that the guy being heckled was being restrained and then the other guy came out of nowhere with the chair and launched it.

Ryan telling Jordan she doesn't find him attractive was gold.

Its kayfabe announcing. They have to aim for the marks. Although I'm sure even the marks can tell when its a the end or not. Although if you wanted accuracy then the only time they can really call the finish is when someone comes out to distract one of the wrestlers. Then you really know its over.

So who was cheering for the Men's b-ball team...
OldSchoolWrestling replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
I was at the A's game. They did this pole, where the fans had to cheer to decide which highlight would be shown. The options were: US/Puerto Rico Basketball Men's Swimming Women's Weightlifting Devil Rays/Rangers Of course Women's Weightlifting won. So a few innings later they finally showed the men's basketball highlights. And the crowd cheered when it showed that the US got spanked. -
Along with Shield, Sopranos and 24, one of my favorite shows on tv.

Calling that lady pussylips was the line of the year.

Why is that? Did they both come to bed with their old WWF ring entrance music playing?

How does Tivo work when a show doesn't start on time? Sometimes if a game is on, the show will start and end at a weird time. Does it catch all this?
-
I was looking into getting Tivo through Directv about a month ago but everything I read said I would have to have 2 lines coming in in order to watch one show but record another. This is the first I have heard of a dual tuner. Can someone tell me more about that?

Those guys with their little headbands need to go pronto. They think they have it so easy, but those types usually end up getting burned really fast. My only concern is that usually there is a strong female and other than the one who barely lost on that treadmill challenge. I'm hoping Mike hooks up with Ahmed Johnson and they form an alliance.
